I recently encountered an issue with UI disappearing after loading from any screen to LIve Mode. So far, I have encountered this when taking a photo, leaving Build Mode, and loading a lot from travel...
Ideas
When traveling, entering build mode, taking pictures, etc. (pretty much anything that takes you out of live mode) all quest and needs bars disappear and im unable to interact (shows current screen visual but then clicking on something cant interact) have to restart game each time for it to show back up. Live mode and built mode buttons will be blacked out and untouchable.
If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
It’s not because of mods. I don’t use any mods and still get this error for a few weeks now
Exactly. I reinstalled my mods but in a new game and didn't do anything with scenarios and it's been fine since. Maybe it's just scenarios. But the game also updated around the same time. So maybe they also fixed something.

Yes, the new to town one. Haven't played them before but wanted to to try out and learn new packs

Scenarios are currently bugged so it's best to avoid them until EA can fix the issue.
