I recently encountered an issue with UI disappearing after loading from any screen to LIve Mode. So far, I have encountered this when taking a photo, leaving Build Mode, and loading a lot from travel...

Just happened to me too, tried my very first scenario to get a break from my normal playstyle and as soon as I load between anything the ui vanish and when I try to get to the main menu I just get a black screen. Never used any cc or mods and playing on pc.
Glad its not just me!
