Unable to select traits in CAS

It says needs info. What information do you need? I took out all my mods. I repaired the game and started a new vanilla folder. I went to CAS and refused to use the story creation tool. As soon as I did that the trait boxes disappeared as displayed in the screenshot in the original thread. 

This is happening to me too and weirdly enough only happens whenever I start a fresh new save without mods. This has been happening for months and is absolutely game breaking. It is actually wild that we have not heard at least a public addressing of this issue online or in the laundry list. It is time to fix this Sims team. 

Okay. soeven with taking out my mods it wasnt working at first. But i went through all my mods, made sure to update or delete. I deleted any weird files like localthumbcache or lastexception etc. Then it still was happening while I was in the game but when i was in CAS i did  control+shift+c for cheats and then inputed resetUI, exited CAS and when I went back into it the traits panel was there.

erased the whole game and reinstalled it. No mods or cc. whats going on? 

I am also having this issue, deleted my mods, uninstalled the game twice and repaired it several times. i keep getting the lastexception file and all the other bs ones that pop up when there is a game error. starting to get frustrated!

I'm having the same problem right now, I've already repaired the game, deleted my mods and took the sims 4 folder out of the electronics arts map and I still can't see or select traits. Is there any way to fix this?

Since I've updated my game I can't see or select trait when in CAS. I've already tried repairing the game, removing my mods and removing my entire sims 4 folder from the eletronic arts map and nothing has worked so far. Every time I want to start a new game I'm unable to see or select traits. I can click on the dice to randomize but there is no fun in that, I want to choose my sims traits. Is there any way to fix this?
