[CD] Vet: Examination/Spaying gets stuck (visiting)

After downloading the business and hobbies expansion pack and updating the game, the spay feature in the clinic got me and my pet stuck in the clinic. Somehow, my cat is not getting spayed and the vet would check her but then would leave. Now we cannot leave.

I did try to look up this problem but the only result I found was a post from 8 years ago and it says solved so I decided to make a new post about it. 

In my sims game yesterday I played with a cat in my household (I actually haven't played with pets in forever.) I went to get my cat neutured and when he was accepted in to be seen the vet just stood around doing the same action over and over. 

I couldn't cancel the interaction because it said it was in progress. I couldn't leave the lot. I couldn't do anything. My sim literally got stuck there all day and so did my cat and the action never completed. I tried resetting the vet sim and the objects. I tried everything I could think of and even looked at solves for other people previously, and I could not get it to change. 

The only way I could get out of it was quitting the game and then starting a whole new game. 

I don't have any mods or cc. I repair my game often because unfortunately it needs it.

If you could also please fix every sim going through the trash and knocking it over constantly that would be great :)

I've just resumed playing one of my saves after installing Adventure Awaits. My sim runs a cat cafe and was taking a new cat to the vet for a neuter. The Event started and progressed far enough that it says "procedure in progress" but the vet isn't taking the cat to the surgery machine. He's either put on the exam table or just left alone. I can't go to Manage Worlds, can't get my sim home, because the game thinks the Event is still ongoing. I'm not sure what to do. 

This happened to me, too.  I ended up having to quit the game without saving.  The second time I attempted it, it did end up working.

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  Did you get any results for your examinations an tried to you try a treatment ?

I experienced this too after the recent update. I was able to check in but the vet never called my sims pet. The only reason I was able to leave the lot was because of a phone call invitation.

I do use CC in my game yes. I did now remove them and try, but i'm still stuck during the examination (the vet just stands there thinking). I have not gotten any results after the examination no, so i haven't been able to try any treatment. 

I have this issue too, the small vet clinic tweaks mod by littlemssam seems to have fixed it for me.
