Check baby is just not functioning properly for a butler. I have always had one stay at home sim parent when my sims had babies but this time I did not. Both parents were at work and no sim was in the house that I could control that was capable of feeding an infant. The butler goes to the baby and changes diaper many times, consoles him and whatever else but she never once FED him and the result was that the baby got taken away with me watching helplessly. This happens pretty consistently across all households because it always aggravates me that the butler just tended to the infant and yet it is still screaming and I have to send my sims to do it. However, this is the first time that I have had a child taken away and I can 100% blame the butler for either not using check baby or check baby isn't telling them that the baby is starving. Thankfully I can restore my last save and will not lose much progress, but that isn't always the case. Plus, my sims do not employ a butler to stand around swishing their finger and being proud of themselves for not dirt, or they sit around drinking my sims beverages and eating their food, taking bubble baths all the time rather than tending to the children which is the main reason they are hired. I even tell them not to garden though that seems to get turned back on every time I exit and reload my game. Please check into this because the butler needs to be giving proper care to minors when the parents are not in the house. It was horrible to sit and watch and not be able to do anything.
