Vocalization on new energized dance/motion is loud

With the new patch that came out, they added some sort of new little dance/jig that a SIM does when they get energized or confident? I’m not sure exactly what triggers it. But I have noticed that when they do it, they give out some sort of vocalization that is much louder than any of the volume of their normal speech. It literally overshadows anything else that is happening.  Even if you are on a big lot and in a different room than where the Sim is located, the voice of this new thing they have added sounds too loud.  I don’t know how else to describe it, but it is very noticeable and annoying.

  • This is a proximity audio bug with the "new" emote that Active Sims do that was added into the live mode gameplay. When they are about to get energized (and sometimes just randomly), they perform the emote.

The problem is that the audio is completely bugged. Not only does the volume of it increase dramatically, the proximity check does not kick in. So whether you have the focus on the next room, outside the the lot, or even clear across the neighborhood zone, you will hear the sim, very loudly, perform the emote.

  • I’m having this too, and even if I pause just as it’s happening the vocalisation still happens, including the sim’s mouth moving

I am also experiencing this. I play a vanilla game no mods. The voice is so much louder (jump scare!!) than anything else. A sim could be on a completely different floor and there's suddenly a very loud voice because a sim was doing that new animation when energized.

  • This also applies to NPC’s. There was a child NPC across the street from my Sim’s house and their energetic vocalization was so loud I thought I had an intruder.
