It also glitches the lighting on any columns attached, I put two down and one was bright and the other incredibly dark

Similar issue happened to me on normal wall.
I thought maybe the problem wasn't with the wall, but with the Halfwall, so I did some testing.
First, I removed the halfwall where my issue was occurring. The issue was resolved.
Next, I replaced the halfwall with platform trim.
This also resolved the issue.
I also confirmed with the diagonal wall mentioned in this post, and removing the halfwall resolved the issue.
This means that the problem is with the halfwall, not the wall.
Even with MOO turned off, you can still place a window on top of the halfwall - where there is visually nothing there - but the game seems to think that there is a wall there.
Play on PC via EA app, no MOD/CC, ver. 1.120.140 with flesh new folder & new save
