Basically the game isnt recognizing its a window. It happens with open door frames or regular doors too. The doors are functional but in game the windows look like walls with a window frame like the photo. Build mode, Live Mode, and Shows it in the gallery.

I've been having this issue for a long time, but I never use the Move Objects cheat. It's usually with doors, and sometimes windows, too. If I click on it to select it and put it back, it's totally fine. But they do keep clipping/glitching at random times, whether I'm in build mode or live mode.
Playing on Mac. Only Mod is MCCC (up to date).

I'm on PC and it happens to me a bit. Sometimes it takes a few tries of replacing the door or window before it's fixed properly and stops glitching into the wall.
I play on PC, nocc, & this has been an issue for years😔. I used to think it was moo cheat causing it since I usually use it; except, found out that's not it, because I just built a home without any cheats, and it still did it to 3 windows on the build. As usual, I selected the window, then pressed esc to undo it, to make window good again, but as a builder, it's very frustrating that this hasn't been looked into properly by the Sims team yet.😮💨. Years. Y.E.A.R.S. 🤨.. soooo, tbh I don't even know why I bother wasting time signing in to comment on this in here, because the way it's going, doesn't look like anyone there intends to fix it, ever, among many other bugs sadly😞.🤷
this happens to me too on pc in bb (i rarely do gameplay), and for me just moving the object and then relocating it to the same spot fixes it. also no mods or cc
I'm on PC and have started having this issue around the same time as you. I'm trying to recall any packs I had recently installed at the time... maybe Business & Hobbies? or Life and Death?
this has been happening a lot to my lots since installing Adventure Awaits. I play on PS5 Console (no CC)
This has been an issue for many years and it's never really gone away, but it is worse on some lots/builds. You can go into build mode and click the edges of the glitched thing and it'll pop up again, but it's very annoying when 20+ windows/doors on one lot do that, as sometimes happens for me. Like, I fix five and ten more have gone and glitched meanwhile.
In Build Mode, a placed window stops being displayed and gets absorbed into the wall. It goes under the wallpaper texture and becomes non-interactable until you click it through Build Mode or delete and place it again.
