[XB/PS] Can't Claim event rewards/Connect to gallery/No Gallery

When I go to claim the rewards it says that I must be connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet and I've checked the settings and everything else. I should be able to claim them but n...

I was able to get my event rewards from the main menu of the sims 4, under the tab "Events", my gallery is accessible normally from the main menu as well displaying the  content normally, however, when I open the gallery inside the game it doesn't show any content from the gallery or in my profile, it just shows the content in my library.
