I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

The game will not let me save my progress. I get to the save file select, choose my file, and then it doesn't do the load wheel, and will not let me close the save file menu.
It also hasn't been letting me save any lots, rooms, or households to my gallery. Not sure if this is a related issue, but it started around the same time.
Ive tried reinstalling the game, deleting extra save files, and checking for updates, all to no avail. I have this problem most in build/buy, but have also had it pop up in live mode.
That's how it's been for me for the past year - you can save a few times but then - you can't save and the whole game freezes and you can't do anything other than have to restart the game again
Exactly the same here. It's caused me to lose hours of work more than once
