I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

It's so frustrating. I might be able to save once or twice while playing before saving triggers a crash. Doesn't matter if I'm away from the lot, on the lot, in Build Mode, in Create a Sim. I have cleared the cache and rebuilt the database. Has not helped. I have uninstalled the game and all packs/kits to reinstall. That didn't help. And I have every single piece of DLC possible. I did not have this problem before the last update. It's hard to imagine it comes from something else. Makes it so hard to play. You have to save constantly or if you get a crash you lose progress. And then you have to go through the long process of restarting. It feels like I spend more time loading back into the game than I actually get in playing.
For those of you who find this and have the same issue, I have been playing almost all day and have crashed a couple of times, but... it was while traveling. I have been testing this out and so far it's working for me. I initiate travel. I tend to get to the pick where I'm going stage. At this stage, you have already triggered Auto-Save. So, you can cancel travel and go back to what you were doing; or if you were really traveling, pick your place and voila. That said, if you crash when traveling, you can resume playing where you left off due to the Auto-Save while traveling. It has saved my game play so far. Until this crashing while saving problem is fixed, I can at least play without wanting to cry. lol lol
Alright, I've now crashed twice trying to travel, so disappointing when it was working so many times. I'll keep trying though. I think I'm a glutton for punishment. Ugh
Literally been happening to me the last couple of days. Really frustrating to deal with. Literally can’t even play thoroughly.
