I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

Recently bought an expansion pack, then the game updated, and since then I can’t save **bleep**. The game randomly freezes up and crashes at the weirdest moments (lagging as well). To prevent losing progress from these random crashes, you’d normally save the game frequently — but I can’t, because it freaking crashes. I’ve tried everything: clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, saving to a new file — nothing’s helped. I’m about to delete the game FOR GOOD, because it’s seriously pissing me off right now.

I have the same problem on my PS5 console, when I try to save the game or travel, I get a "game error" and everything I did went to the trash 🙃
Its been happening for months now at first just a few players but it seems since latest update its happening to more unfortunately maxis aren't even acknowledging it no feedback no yeah we're looking into it no nothing i too have given up i haven't played in wks brought the new ep and i can't play it im so angry too cos they don't even care!!!!!!!
Same here going on 2 months. Lots of money spent over years and I can’t play it smh. Crashes anytime it auto saves or if I save it myself , it’s aggravating. I have deleted the game and redownloaded it, deleted old saves, did a factory reset, cleared up space, did a manual update on software, and rebuilt data base over 10 times and nothing. There’s literally only sims 4 on my ps4 and it still crashes. I will not buy more packs until it is fixed and I mean asap cuz this is ridiculous for real.
