I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

Since December 4th, the game has been closing on its own before completing the save process. No error message or error code appears; the game simply closes before saving. When I open the game again, I find that the save was not completed, and I lose all progress since the last save.
Ive noticed this too, I'm on an older Xbox one than that. For me, it seems the longer I go in between saves, the more likely it is to happen. What I've been reading tho is that this is a possible symptom of save file corruption, so I've been backing up my legacy family to my library just in case...
