I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

Sorry but I can't play the holiday event. I tried. The game crashes everytime I try to save my progress. I also didn't get to play the last event because of the crashes and there were items in that event as well as this one that i really wanted but couldn't save my progress to even get the rewards. Sometimes I feel like at this point you should just gift us these items instead of making us play an event in order to get the items knowing how messed up this game is especially with the crashes. So many of us had been missing out on so many items over the months because of not being able to play the events due to the crashes or the bugs alone. Also I feel like you should have the game auto save like every 3 to 5 minutes so if the game crashes we'll still be able to keep our progress. We also wont have to be afraid to save the game because of the crashes. Just saying.
