[XB/PS] Console crashing

Since the second-to-last update, my game has a very annoying and recurring bug; it crashes when I save, regardless of whether I've been playing for 10 minutes or 2 hours. I'm on PS5, I have almost all the packs, and obviously no mods or CC... and it's becoming a problem, since I'm losing the desire to play. 

ever since the newest pack / update (adventure awaits). my sims keeps crashing, mostly when saving, but always when on a getaway and saving during getaway. makes the game unplayable unfortunately 

Draconov88 i totally agree im losing hope too as none of them having even mentioned it so obviously not even being investigated i too own all pack inc Adventure awaits which ive not been able to play due to crashing while saving its disgusting the way console players are treated its like we don't matter

You know... I'm gradually losing hope that The Sims 4 will ever run properly on consoles again. Yesterday there were 150 fixes, but not a single one of them fixed the freeze bug, or the save and game crash bug, or what's been happening since the second-to-last update, where the game crashes after about 5 minutes -.- I had such high hopes that the crashes would be fixed. But it's gotten to the point where I'm giving up hope... I own every pack and can't play it because of these crashes... thanks a lot for that.

This game is seriously unplayable!!!! This last update has made the game worse. I made a comment here two months ago about the game crashes (on Xbox Console) when I travel, going in build mode, saving my game etc.... I'm doing soft resets and creating new saves constantly just to play the game. But now since this last update the game crashes  when I attempt to create a new save.  Smh.

I really wish you guys would focus on fixing all the major problems rather than mynute issues. How do you expect people to buy all these add on when the base game doesn't even work??????

You can expect people to buy packs, kits etc... without fixing the basics. The basics allow people to play the game without crashes, saving the game without crashes, going into build mode without crashes, traveling without crashes, updates that don't cause the game to crash.

 Also, test out the packs before release them. It's ridiculous that the packs come out broken or unplayable. Then when everyone is complaining about how broken the game is then, you guys have to rush out an update 2 weeks later, and it still doesn't work properly.  It doesn't make any sense. 

Fixing the base game and make sure all of the expansion packs, stuff packs, and game packs work together should be the main priority!!!!! 

Same here. The game is now completely unplayable. Every time I try to save, it crashes. It’s honestly shameful that this hasn’t been fixed. Is EA even working on this?

If when the error happend if we click send the video attached it help? I'm on a Playstation 5

I haven't played in months because of this crashing issue, but I set up a new save with new sims after the last patch and it still crashes on save as well as other times, like just exiting to the main menu. This has to be fixed ASAP. It hasn't even been acknowledged as a problem by the official Sims account, unlike bugs that affect PC players. Why are we console players being ignored??

Error CE-108255-1 (PS5)

Éste error ya acabó mi con mi paciencia. Necesito que me den una solución ya. Ahora está peor, (incluso cambie del ps4 al ps5) porque siempre me ha sucedido, pero ahora hasta cuando voy a guardar la partida se me cierra y me deja sin guardar el progreso! Ya es algo super molesto, he gastado demasiado dinero en las expansiones y demás como para no poder jugarlo! El juego se actualizo con la última actualización y mi ps5 también está actualizado. Por favor, alguien que pueda ayudarme a solucionar esto?, no quiero pensar que tengo que volver a empezar de cero en una pc.

This error has exhausted my patience. I need a solution now. It’s even worse now (I even switched from the PS4 to the PS5), because it has always happened to me, but now it even crashes when I try to save my gameplay, leaving my progress unsaved! It’s incredibly frustrating; I’ve spent too much money on expansions and other content to not be able to play! The game is fully updated, and so is my PS5. Please, can someone help me fix this? I don’t want to think that I’ll have to start all over again on a PC.

Nope. I am also on PS5. Just this week I have had to stop playing due to crashes on saves and travelling. 😮‍💨
