EA_Solaire Hi! Let me clarify, I am nowhere near 100 tattoos in my save file. I have placed 25 custom tattoos on different sims (all of them in my played households) and I've gotten the pop-up. I hit this limit maybe a week into having purchased the pack and now I can't access the custom tattoo feature or paint mode at all in my game. Even if I wanted to try to fix it by deleting tattoos, I can't. You literally can't delete the tattoos because you can't access paint mode anymore, you get the pop-up every time you try to access paint mode. I got desperate to access paint mode so I could adjust down the amount of custom tattoos in my game just so the pop-up would stop and tried deleting a Sim I had given custom tattoos to and I STILL get the pop-up and I can't access any of the custom tattoo features, even though now I have less custom tattoos after the deletion. The pop-up also comes up every time I load into any household in CAS in my save file now, even if they don't have tattoos or custom tattoos at all.
I'm going to repeat this response I gave to someone else's post because I'm really upset that I spent $40 on an expansion and can't access this feature. I'm honestly really upset about this. This was the main feature I bought this pack for and now it's completely unusable for me. I can't access custom tattoos or paint mode in my game at all, I can't give Sims tattoos in game (even regular tattoos without getting the pop-up), and I'm pretty positive the pop-up is glitched because I get it every time I load into any household I play in CAS. I'm unbelievably frustrated by this, I primarily play rotationally in a single save file and now that save file has this issue and I can't fix it. The way the limit was implemented is horribly misleading. How are they going to promote a pack with a tagline that says "unlimited custom tattoos" and have a limit of 25 (!) per save file without telling anyone about it or explaining it at all? On top of that, I'm confused by responses given to this issue, they don't make any sense. How is it possible that we "supposedly" have a limit of 100 tattoos but only on playable sims? (which is either untrue or bugged because I only have custom tattoos on my played households and haven't reached anywhere near 100 tattoos and I get the limit pop-up). Also, why do only console players seem to have this limit? I would really appreciate if this was properly addressed. Is it not possible to reconsider the limit at the bare minimum? 25 custom tattoos per save file is unbelievable to me when it was supposedly one of the primary features of the expansion.
