I had just booted up the game and loaded up my save when I went to interact with the computer. The interaction menu thing for the computer came up and I could use the left stick freely to move around...
Ideas
I've had an issue where at random, the game stops registering my controls(except my joysticks). I've tried waiting and ending up to have to just click my XBOX home button and close out of the game. I can't save before I exit because the lack of the game registering any controls pressed(again, joystick controls still working).
Even tried to have the cheat bar come up nothing works unresponsive
I've just run into this problem a couple of minutes ago. Like you said only thing to do is exit the game...
Out of nowhere this has started chronically happening in a save I'm really invested into right now... like over and over I'm reloading, playing a bit and it happens again. Nothing to do but restart.
I'm also experiencing this same issue.
The game just freezes up bar directional controls; I have to exit to the dashboard on Xbox S series as nothing else works.
This is happening on Playstation as well. I can't play the game at all, it locks up every time I try to check the needs bar.
I didn't have this issue last night. I tried to play like four different times earlier and always had to force close the game ☹️
This just happened to me as well. I was building just fine for a few days but as soon as I finished and went into live mode I couldn’t do anything but move the joystick. None of the buttons registered
It got to a point where I had to connect a mouse to my Xbox in order to save the game
