I've been to scared to play my multigenerational family saves for months since 1 got wiped with code 0. I'm currently playing kinda of a throw away save just to be able to play. Code 34 wiped that save a couple weeks ago after i played it for a couple days, sucks but ok. Made a new save few days ago, currently am about to finish the strangerville aspiration when I just got hit with code 34 again. I just had my sim take some selfies for the first time right before saving so I think that might be where the corruption could be coming from. I deleted the photos but ig its too late.I play on Xbox, I have over 400 gb of storage, im connected to the internet I have no idea as to why i could have corruption other than the game doing it its self. Im so irritated I dont even want to play.
Same thing happens to me...and unfortunately we can't do anything about it or keep it from showing error code... but I can give you this advice start saving all of your favorites sims to the gallery and also when starting a new save game always save atleast 3 of the same file just in case the error pops up again atleast 1 or 2 of the saved files can act as a safety net to you not losing your saved files instead you'll lose some progress and I'd rather lose progress than to lose my save file again and again.
