My Sims 4 save disappeared after I kept getting Error Code 34 when trying to save. I tried Save As with a new save, but then I got Error Code 21. I had to quit the game, and when I opened it again, the save I was playing was completely gone. My other saves are still there, but this one is missing. I also checked my Xbox saved data, and it still shows about 850 MB under my account. I didn’t delete the save, so I’m hoping there is a way to recover it or restore it. I had multiple households in that save and really don’t want to lose everything.
**By the way, I play on Xbox One. I have used 49.1% of my storage. I still have 397.4 GB free of space.
I have lost several saves (six or more) over this exact issue. There is a bug report for it already, it's called (search under "Error when saving"). Your report will probably get folded into it.
I'm on Xbox also, and I've never found a way to get those saves back. It's heartbreaking.
