[XB/PS] Error Code when saving

Same here!! I play on ps5 and I lost my old new save bc of a bug dealing with the fear of the dark trait. So I had to make a whole new save and now after playing that one for a few hours and now this save is corrupted too. I got error code 64 after trying to save both games. And to make matters worse I just bought the new expansion pack so I feel like I’ve just wasted my money!!!!

Im on PS5, Ive been dealing with these problems for over TWO MONTHS and I feel like ive wasted my money buying the new enchanted pack. It started with the first update in July, the fear of the dark trait was acting buggy and would pop back up even though the trait was gone. Then it eventually crashed so I had to delete it. Then the second update came out and I made a second one which eventually crashed as well after a few weeks with multiple error code 64 messages trying to save. Then today I made a new save and tried from scratch again and I just tried to save my game and it wouldn’t work. I tried again multiple times didn’t work. I then tried save and quit hoping the auto save worked but it didn’t and I’ve lost over 6 hours of play time. Yes I have enough storage. No I only have one other save. Yes I’ve restored the licenses. Yes the user agreement is correct. I’ve searched and searched the internet and forms for solutions but NONE of the have worked. I’m very frustrated and very disappointed that you all have still yet to have any ACTUAL solutions to fix these problems. It makes me feel as though you all don’t care about us simmers like we’re bottom of the barrel because we are on the consoles. Please fix these issues expeditiously.

Im just gonna document everytime it happens. Made a new save about 3 days ago, this will be my 4th attempt at having a savefile. ive been careful not have pictures taken like going on dates cause I feel that pictures may be aiding the code 34. Everything was saving well until I just made my sim a fairy. I had a feeling it may trigger it and I immediately tried saving after her metaphorsis and got hit with the code 34 so... great

Just leaving it here that that the new update today 8/19 did not resolve the issue of being unable to save the game.

5th error code 34, maybe bc my sim gave an autograph 

6th time, new save blah blah this time I didn't even play with my sims I just renovated their home and got coded

My daughter (age 10)  is having this problem today, post update. We are getting error 21, with the save file disappearing. We’re playing on Xbox so unfortunately we cannot send any game files. 

we have tried saving with a new save games each time, giving them slightly different names. however we still get the error 21 and had to save again multiple times before giving up, unable to save a second time. At least by doing this it didn’t delete the save file and the previous save (20 minutes earlier) was still there .

I haven’t tested any of our other save games to see if it is consistent across all of them, currently I only can say it’s affecting one of our save files. And it is a newer save, started within the last week, which is not where I would have expected this error to strike. 

this is unplayable and devastating. 

The same thing has been happening to me, it’s been going on for around 3 months and it started with nothing in my game saving, like all my skills and everything in build mode, and then it started showing “error code 21” but now it’s not even coming up with that and my game still won’t save. It’s driving me mad since I’ve spent so much time and money on this game and now I can’t even play it. I think it’s only a console issue. 

I haven’t found any other bug report for this problem so I’m gonna file one. When I attempt to place a small business with a residential lot, in other words, I have a business on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor, everything functions as normal until I try to save my game in which case it gives me save error 13. I can open a business if my Sims do not live on the lot, but my Sims are unable to live on the lot Because whenever I attempt to do that it causes save error 13. This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating because this was the main advertised feature of the small businesses pack and it does not work. It breaks your game. I’m on a console, no mods no cc never used. I don’t really have any hope that this is going to be fixed, but I thought I would let people know.
