Verfication Problem
Hello, I have a problem with verifying my Ea account because my email address no longer exists for a few years I can log in to the Ea app via Xbox Live but I do not have access to the verification codes sent to the email. Is it possible to change my email to the current one from your side? I will give it to you privately if you reply. I can show screenshots of the account. Thank you in advance for your help. Hi, I no longer have access to my email connected to my ea account as it has been deactivated for a while. So Split Fiction came out and I wanted to play it on PS5 and enjoy smooth frames and all that but when I went to link my account off of EA's Website I kept getting this message saying I already had it linked to another account. I don't have any other accounts for this place so I was really confused. The supposed email that was linked is called "disabled.ea.com". I have no idea what this even is and for the life of me I can't remove it. I tried resetting my account when the game booted up and asked for a EA log in and I did several times and every time I did I continued getting this Result Code: 401-18eea . I tried searching it up but I can't find any information on it. So because I can't link my Sony I'm unable to play the game online with friends. I sent in 2 Cases for both EA account and for Split Fiction in hopes someone could help me but I sat a whole day waiting for any forms of human life to contact me. So when I checked the Cases the next day they were deemed "Resolved" which they AREN'T!!! no phone called or a email, no communication what so ever from EA's support. The annoying part is there was a Live Chat function but now I don't see it anywhere. I sat on the Case screen for a whole day waiting for someone to help me but not a soul in sight. So I seek help from the Community. Any information would be appreciated or at the very least get me into contact with a live person so that can help me fix this issue. I really want to play this game and it honestly will bum me out if I spent basically 50$ on a title screen. Edit 3/21/025/ Instead of getting a Live Chat I was able to send a Email directly to Support and they were able to solve the issue. The problem was of course a disabled account which they were able to remove. Once it was removed I was able to link my PSN properly and now can play Split Fiction and other future EA Games.187Views0likes3CommentsXbox account accidental unlink .....
Hey all, As the title says i accidentaly unlinked my xbox account from my ea account and want to re link it to the same one. I have opened a case on ea help and have provided the details needed and replied to the initial email i received from "Satvinder" but havent got a reply in a few days...can anyone on here speed the process up at all? Apologies if this isnt the appropriate section but i couldn't find a suitable place to post as its not directly related to a game. I've been trying to contact EA tech support for months now. Every time I create a ticket, it immediately closes by itself, without explanation. In the screenshot, I showed what the request page looks like immediately after it is created. And so it has been for many months. I've even tried different computers, but the result is always the same. I'm unable to open new support cases and so unable to have my EA account deleted. The button to open a case is not there. Context: I've been trying to get my EA account deleted and all of my personal information removed from EA databases. (right to be forgotten) I found EA's help article on this topic here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/close-ea-account/#right-to-be-forgotten The link in that article takes me here: https://help.ea.com/en/solutions/?product=ea-account&category=data-privacy&topic=delete-ea-data so I proceeded to create a case to do this. The advisor said they couldn't do it but they would escalate it to another team who would email me at some point (couldn't tell me when). I did receive an email from EA support containing a link but by the time I checked the email and clicked the link it had expired. When I tried to do this again by opening a new case the 2nd advisor I spoke to said they couldn't help me unless I provided them with the email address that I used to create the account. They wouldn't accept the email address that is currently linked to the account and is the one I used to log in and raise the case. But my account is 13 years old and I don't know that original email address anymore. I changed the email address on my account years ago and have been logging in successfully with it ever since. I was logged into my EA account which is how I was able to open a case in the first place and there is only one email linked to my account and it's my current email which I can access. This was surprising as the first advisor was able to help me using my current, existing, linked email address. Following a useless conversation with that 2nd advisor who would only use stored responses that made no sense in response to my messages I closed the case and tried to open a new one with a different advisor but now the button to open a case has disappeared and I'm unable to open one.
