Battlefield 6 – Repeated Soft Crashes to Desktop (No Error Code) on PC
Hello everyone, I am posting here in hopes of finding a solution or confirming whether others are experiencing the same issue. Over the past week, I have been dealing with consistent soft crashes to the desktop while playing Battlefield 6 on PC. The game closes instantly with no error message, no error code, and no warning of any kind. Issue Description The crashes occur in several scenarios: At the end of matches Between rounds Occasionally mid-match during normal gameplay There is no pattern beyond the fact that the crashes are frequent and completely random. The game simply exits to the desktop as if it was never running. Troubleshooting Steps Already Attempted I want to emphasize that I have tried every reasonable troubleshooting method, including but not limited to: Updating GPU, chipset, and all relevant drivers Repairing and verifying game files Completely reinstalling the game Updating Windows and performing system integrity checks Testing temperatures, voltages, and system stability Disabling overlays and background applications Running the game on different graphics presets Resetting NVIDIA control panel settings Clearing cache and temporary files Despite all these steps, the issue persists with no improvement. At this point it is becoming extremely frustrating, as there is no indication of what causes the crash. Important Note All of my non-EA games run perfectly smooth on this system without any crashes or performance issues. This strongly suggests that the problem is specific to Battlefield 6, not my hardware or system environment. Ma anche a voi cambia visuale da solo il gioco e non te la fa modificare ad alcune partite? A me succede almeno a 3 partite su 10, io gioco con la visuale alta normale come tutti e ad alcune partite si cambia mettendomela da solo zoommatissima che vedo a malapena 3 giocatori

Stutters, hiccups , framedrops i found the cause!! Edit***
So after hours of testing today, I found the cause of stutters, frame drops, etc. It's the Javelin anti-cheat, which overloads one or two CPU cores when you press WASD, 1, 2, or 3, the enter button, or certain letters. The CPU core goes to 100%, and this results in stutters. It's affecting all Battlefield titles, so please fix this, Dice! Edit** I noticed that pressing certain keyboard keys (like number keys or arrow keys) causes noticeable micro-stutters in BF1, BFV, and BF6. FPS stays high, GPU load is fine, and CPU cores aren’t maxed. Mouse movement or clicks don’t trigger this. It seems to happen only with keys that change the game state (weapon switch, zeroing, gadgets). Rapidly pressing these keys makes spikes worse (dpc latency.) Shader cache warm-up reduces it slightly, and capping FPS also helps mask the spikes. From what I can tell, the cause is kernel-level anti-cheat checks (Javelin/EA AC) validating discrete input. These checks temporarily block the main game thread, which shows up as micro-stutter, even though CPU/GPU aren’t overloaded. This isn’t a hardware or driver issue—it’s a side effect of the anti-cheat + Frostbite engine. please fix this soon!
Keyboard Input Causes Aim Stutter
Since last weeks update on PC, pressing WASD or most keyboard buttons causes constant intermittent aim jerking and stuttering. I consistently receive the following error code about five minutes into gameplay: 1:4688822970: -4685921B. I'm running a dual-boot system with Windows 10 (22H2) and Ubuntu. I've already tried switching DNS servers, reinstalling the anticheat software, reinstalling the game, enabled secure boot, and disabling background applications, but the issue persists. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
