Found Bugs/Suggest Additions
Hi there, I wanted to start a discussion on features the community would like to see in the Cozy Bundle or bugs the community has found and we can all make posts towards this on here if that’s ok! :) I wanted to start off by saying that the controls, while working great, feel a little off for me as I’m left handed, and I think it would be a nice addition if we could get an option to swap the controls for the Left and Right Stick for those who would prefer that, and vice versa. :)Solved2.1KViews8likes90CommentsNo MySims Kindgom Download from Cozy Bundle?
I have just been messaging someone on EA Help by alas no luck, so here I am. I redeemed MySims Cozy Bundle yesterday & and I was very excited to get playing. I played MySims for about 2 hours before hoping to change to MySims Kingdom (my main reason for getting the game), and struggled to do so for a short while. My system only downloaded 'MySims' so I was expecting to be able to switch to MySims Kingdom in the same game/widget. I went on a search, looking at several YouTube videos of gameplay, people streaming the Cozy Bundle on Twitch, and started to feel like I was losing my mind a little bit. Where can I play MySims Kingdom?! It was at this point I realised that MySims Kingdom should also have it's on widget on the system menu, and that, it was nowhere to be seen. Huh? I went back to the e-shop and double checked I'm not missing anything - it says "purchased" and there's definitely nothing additional I can select to download MySims Kingdom. I checked that my system is updated & that I have enough storage for the game - yes and yes. I even deleted my save data & uninstalled the game from my console to start again - proceed to the e-shop and download the game. Once again only MySims is downloaded, no sign of MySims Kingdom. It's not that it's stuck downloading, it just doesn't show up on my menu page at all. I'm connected to a stable Internet connection so that's not the issue. What do I do?!571Views0likes5CommentsMySims Kingdom Unplayable on Steam Deck
Hi there, just reporting this here so people are aware, Kingdom currently does NOT work on Steam Deck, as the game will crash when attempting to enter CAS, making the game unplayable. If there are any workarounds to this fix this issue, I’ll be sure to update this thread. :)399Views2likes3CommentsSaving problem for "MySims : Cozy Bundle"
I don't know if I'm the only one with this issue, while playing MySims Kingdom, I tried saving my progress and this window pop up in my game. And when I went back to the main menu, there was no save files when I tried loading my game. I tried with MySims too except that I can't even click on the save button.Solved337Views0likes15CommentsAudio and other Bugs/Changes
Been playing through a bit of both games and noticed some bugs or changes compared to the original Wii version of both games. MySims: Buildings that had two songs will play either one or the other on repeat instead of going back and forth. Unless intentional, building furniture or houses will play the same song on repeat instead of switching to the other 3-4 songs compared to Wii. The game frequently played the same single song even when starting another furniture project. Some flickering with the ground when building houses or furniture. When fishing, the bobber does not go under some bubbly areas. Happens about 1/5 times. When backing out of fishing, the player sim will automatically start fishing again, having to quit a second time. MySims Kingdom: Zones and menus that had multiple songs are missing the second or third song. The first song repeats when exiting and entering the area/menu or when the song loops. (Renee’s Visitor Center, Gino’s Pad, Dr. F Lab, Travel Log Menu, Outfit Selection on Boat) Sim voices in some cutscenes can be quieter compared to Wii version. Volume is normal during gameplay. Also, countdown in Rocket Reef cutscene is missing. Not sure what the terminology is or if this is what’s causing it but may have to do with the placement of the “microphone” during cutscenes. Verified it wasn’t my TV by sending video captures to another device. Videos attached to post. Buddy and Lyndsay can get stuck in some sections of Rocket Reef. This bug was in the Wii version too. Areas include the plateau near the mining wall and the rock steps near Tobor’s bridge. These are areas NPC sims normally can’t get to without jumping. Photos attached to post. Ambient sounds would stop for a brief second before looping. Few lag spikes when talking to sims but nothing game breaking, normally happens when the game is about to autosave. Not sure if everything here can be considered a bug like the music tracks stuff for both games, but I wanted to make sure. Still having a great time going through these games again, and I do like the new controls and reduced loading times.319Views1like3CommentsNot all essences available to paint with when decorating my own house
I'm playing MySims (not Kingdom) on the Switch and am having trouble painting the interior of my home. I want to use the gingerbread essence which I have over 50 of in my backpack but it does not show up as an option to paint with when in paint mode. In fact, most of my Tasty essences aren't available to paint with. Just the first 2 or 3 show up when I go to paint my house even though I have at least one of every essence, including the garden essences. I either haven't noticed or encountered this problem when painting other Sims' homes. Just mine.302Views7likes6CommentsMySims Clone Bug
Several players, including myself, have encountered a major bug in MySims (from Cozy Bundle) on the Nintendo Switch system that mirrors an issue that affected the PC version a few years ago (though I’m unsure if it was ever fixed on PC). The bug occurs when a Sim is kicked out of their home and then invited to return. Instead of resetting the home to its original state, the game creates a clone of the Sim. For example, after moving in a Sim named Mrs. Nicole and adding furniture to her home (though it can happen with any sim), I kicked her out. Upon inviting her back, the game created a duplicate Sim, so two versions of Mrs. Nicole were living in the same house. Furthermore, the furniture I had placed earlier, which should have disappeared since I kicked her out, reappeared as well. If the Sim is kicked out again, the clone wanders in the city.Solved301Views2likes1CommentHere's a list of bugs and glitches that should be fixed.
Multiple songs can now loop correctly in Workshop and Remodel modes in the original MySims game, but that’s not all! A single song also loops continuously when you're at a location—like a building (in both games) or an area (in MySims Kingdom). A single track even loops repeatedly when you're customizing your Sim in Create-A-Sim. The voice and audio quality for characters, as well as the sound effects in both games, have a strange effect that makes them sound like they’re using a vocoder. I hope this effect gets removed in a future update. In the original MySims game, if you clone a block after painting it with an essence texture, the cloned block reverts its paint texture back to wood. A video link showcasing this glitch is included in the attachments. In MySims Kingdom, when the player is at Reward Island, two of the stereo soundtracks can't be heard in that area. I hope they'll fix this soon so the music plays there as intended! There are various audio bugs and glitches in both games, especially with ambient sound effects. In the original MySims game, if the player leaves the Town Square and goes to a different location—like the Forest or the Desert—the ambiance from the Town Square continues to play instead of switching to the correct ambiance for the new location. Also, in MySims Kingdom, after the player completes an island's story, the game transitions from day to night. However, once the transition is complete, the player continues to hear the daytime ambiance instead of it switching to the correct nighttime ambiance. The same issue happens in reverse—when night transitions to day, the nighttime ambiance continues to play instead of switching to the appropriate daytime sound. On super rare occasions, if a Sim gets kicked out, they will remain in town, even though they have no house. Even if the player builds a new house over the original spot, that Sim is still present in the game permanently. If a Sim is invited back after being kicked out, the house layout and furniture can come back in its default state. This results in a major item exploit as this glitch is repeatable. In the original MySims game, if you kick a Sim out, the number of occupied places on the map, counting the Sim that has already been kicked out, will not decrease. When a Sim uses a turntable in both games, the music doesn't loop after a single "DJ Booth" soundtrack ends. The same issue occurs with the stereo in the original MySims game during the "Dance Off!" activity, as well as when a Sim plays a portable video game or a game on an arcade machine. In the original MySims game, after one playthrough of the music from a portable video game or an arcade machine, the music doesn't loop, and only the sound effects can be heard. Also, after a single loop of the electricity sound effect used for the "Dr. F's Tubular Insanity" and "Dr. F's Tubular Madness" items, the sound does not loop again. In the original MySims game, if a Sim performs the same animation with another Sim who has the same voice type, his/her voice will either fluctuate in pitch to match the other Sim’s or settle back to the voice type's normal pitch. In MySims Kingdom, Liberty has black skin since she has tan skin in the original MySims game. In MySims Kingdom, Chef Gino’s fence texture has the wrong texture. The player can't be best friends with every NPC in MySims Kingdom despite completing all of their tasks. There were still quiet voices during the cutscenes in MySims Kingdom, as well as missing character icons. In MySims Kingdom, during the final cutscene on Rocket Reef, the Simlish countdown sound isn’t heard when the rocket launches. In the original MySims game, three of the loading screen soundtracks aren’t played during loading. In the original MySims game, there's a creepy glitch where a Sim's head is missing! Also, two of the soundtracks used for the Fun Sims' homes don't play at all when the player's inside the Amazing Daryl's House. That's all for now. What do you guys think? I hope all of these bugs and glitches get fixed—and that some new additions are included in the next patch for MySims: Cozy Bundle.299Views1like1Comment
