Damage Hit Indicator Size Not Changing on Ultrawide Monitor
I’ve been testing the Battlefield 6 beta on my ultrawide monitor (49-inch, 5120x1440p resolution) and noticed a problem with the damage hit indicator size settings. The Issue When I try to change the hit indicator size from the default small to medium or large, the indicator does not behave as expected. On my ultrawide monitor, the hit indicator always appears very close to the small size regardless of the setting. What I Tested The hit indicator does scale up when the aspect ratio is 16:9 or narrower, matching the selected size properly. However, as the aspect ratio widens beyond 16:9 (toward ultrawide formats), the hit indicator still scales up, but the scaling becomes progressively smaller the wider the screen gets. So, on my 5120x1440p ultrawide (roughly 32:9), the hit indicator appears almost the same size as the small default, no matter which size option I choose. What This Means The scaling logic for the hit indicator seems to work best at 16:9 or narrower ratios, but becomes less effective at wider aspect ratios. Players using ultrawide or super ultrawide monitors will find that their hit indicator size setting has very limited effect, reducing customization options and possibly impacting gameplay feedback. I’m attaching a video demonstrating this issue — you can see me resize the game window from narrow (21:9) to (16:9) to then (32:9), showing how the hit indicator scales up correctly at 16:9 but gradually shrinks relative to the chosen size as the window gets wider. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emx3nCgBnMETried Everything But the Beta Won't Launch on PC? Create A New Local Admin User!
Hey all - sharing my post from Reddit below. I tried everything prior and even missed out on Labs because of the launcher issue. Finally got it working and hope this helps! My game wouldn't launch past the Javelin splash screen, and it wouldn't even leave anything clues in the Event Viewer. No error codes, nothing. The issue made me miss out on the Labs tests. Everything related to Secure Boot was perfect, I'm on Windows 11, and literally tried everything. I asked ChatGPT, and it threw out a last ditch idea just to try - and it worked. Basically, just create a new Local Admin User that isn't tied to a Microsoft Account. Then redownload Steam and the beta on that account, and boom it works. No idea why this could be, but I'm guessing something with the anti-cheat is tied to the Windows account itself. Here's the Command Prompt steps ChatGPT gave me: Open Command Prompt as Administrator Type the following: net user TestAdmin123 /add net localgroup administrators TestAdmin123 /add You just created a new admin user named TestAdmin123 with no password. After Creating the User Log out of your current account Switch to the new account (TestAdmin or whatever you named it) Open Steam and EA App (install fresh if needed) Launch Battlefield 6 Beta from scratch — skip copying configs or settings Hope this helps everyone who was having the same issue as me - and hopefully they patch this somehow before launch.SolvedCity services
Hi, I moved everything around in my city and now the services like health, fire and police show that houses are red even when they’re in the green area. All the other services like power and sewage aren’t providing to all the houses even though the demand is lower than the capacity. I restated the app, deleted and redownloaded it, and moved everything around again and it’s still not working. All my residents moved out.Solved27Views0likes3CommentsDriver error with AMD GPU
I launched the game but i get this error because of the AMD drivers i have the drivers updated on AMD Adrenalin with the version 25.5.1 , but when i open the game i get a different driver number with an error My config is Intel Xeon E5-2666 v3 AMD Radeon RX580 8gb 16gb RAM I know its a low budget PC and a old graphics card. TPM 2.0 check, Safe boot check, drivers check. When pressing start on steam, the small window pops up, then goes away and steam stops running it, I know others are having this issue, but putting it out there to gather more attention for it CM edit: edited title for clarity.
