Unable to play DAI Multiplayer on PC with friends
Good afternoon! My friends and I (we're all from different regions and countries) tried to play multiplayer in Inquisition on PC, but we weren't able to connect to each other. Every time one of us tried to join a private room created by someone else via an invitation, we kept getting a server connection error. We also tried creating public rooms, but that didn't help either - we still couldn't join each other, and everyone ended up stuck in their own separate lobby. We attempted several troubleshooting steps, including clearing the EA app cache, disabling the Windows Defender firewall, and other methods, but nothing worked. Could you please advise if there are any other ways to establish a connection? What other factors could be causing the multiplayer not to work? Are there any restrictions affecting multiplayer access, and how can we resolve these issues?Heroic Leap still bugged?
I noticed a thread from about a year ago stating that heroic leap is not benefiting from both ability upgrades “Charged Smash” and “Striking Precision” which is kind of weird seeing as heroic leap is labeled as both a strike and smash ability. Now I did see that it used to be that you would straight up not get the precision buff if you spec into both upgrades. I seem to keep the buff so that seemed to be fixed but my heroic leap still does not get the guaranteed critical hit from precision. Has there been any word of a fix as a year long bug is kind of sad if you ask me.Dragon Age 2 DLCs show as “Unauthorized” - How can I activate them?
Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with Dragon Age 2 DLCs and I’m not sure how to fix it now that the servers are offline. All my DLCs are installed correctly and show up in the “Downloadable Content” menu, but they are marked as “Unauthorized”. The problem is that the in-game login to EA servers no longer works (servers were shut down last year) So I have no way to authenticate or activate the DLCs through the official method Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks.PC problems
I have this PC: CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF (3.00 GHz) RAM: 32,0 GB System: 64 bits, Windows 11 Home Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB SSD hard drive All the drivers and the system are update. I’ve tried things I’ve seen on forums, such as turning off realistic hair, lowering the resolution, disabling DLSS, deleting the “shaders_cache” folder, running a file integrity check (Steam), uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but nothing works. I play through the intro without any problems, reach the lighthouse, and then I had my first issue: when heading to the Arlathan Forest after the first dialogue, it would get stuck on the loading screen forever. Once I sorted that out, my character would freeze completely before I could speak to Bellara. And now, during the conversation with Bellara, there comes a point where the screen freezes and I can’t progress any further. It’s frustrating, and I’ve been surprised to find so many people with similar issues. But I’ve run out of ideas on what else to try.SolvedCrashing During Cut Scenes
Hello Rooks, We've noticed reports of Dragon Age: The Veilguard crashing during cut scenes. When uploading, include the following details to help us better understand the issue: Where: Specify the exact cut scene or location where the crash occurs (e.g., after completing a quest, during a specific dialogue, etc.) When: Let us know if the crash happens consistently at the same point or if it seems random. How: Share any actions leading up to the crash (e.g., interacting with a specific NPC, entering an area, etc.). This issue is occurring on PC through Steam, so be sure to also include: Your PC specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, etc.). Any mods or third-party tools you're using, if applicable. Your save files and details will greatly help us resolve this issue faster. Thank you for your support and cooperation![DAI] camera flipping glitch when moving with mouse
while controlling the camera angle with a mouse, the camera will sometimes flip 180°. i’ve tried everything mentioned in some relevant EA forum threads, as well as whatever else i could think of: disable overlay (steam, discord, and nvidia for me) delete the “ProfileOptions_profile” file clean reinstall of the graphic and mouse drivers reduce camera movement speed/mouse sensitivity in game turn off “enhanced pointer precision” change graphic settings (texture quality and vsync etc) repair game via steam none fixes the problem. my pc isn’t connected to any controller at the moment. it has made exploration extremely tedious. to add more context, it didn’t happen in first playthrough, it only started halfway through my second playthrough. this issue persisted ever since across different saves. any suggestion on how to fix this problem will be appreciated:)423Views0likes10CommentsKataranda the Stormrider Quest Bug
The quest isn't spawning for me. I have completed everything up to the point of no return, and I have completed everyone's quests and all factions are 3-Star and I have 140 mementos. I don't understand why this quest isn't spawning for me. I tried it on 2 separate saves and I don't see the note in Taash's room or at the bulletin board in the Hall of Valor. What am I doing wrong? My account might be bugged
Hello I’ve been playing dragon age inquisition multiplayer for quite a while now, done my research on getting Hakkon weapons, and am sure I meet the prerequisites. I was hopping an EA admin, or who ever is capable, could check and make sure that I’m not bugged. I would really appreciate knowing if there is an error on my account or if I just have really really bad luck. PS I have done somewhere between 200-250 NM dragons and spent about 1.7 mil gold thank you guys!Stuttering Temporary Solution? - Yes 60 fps Capped Gameplay
Hi all I have a possible solution for stuttering issues on a PC, with or without a multimonitor setup ( I have 3x 4K monitors). I am unsure of the correct actions for an Nvidia card, as I have an AMD GPU. I was getting ridiculously high FPS (up 160 fps) even though I was using a custom graphics setting in 4K, Fade-touched textures, and ultra ( I think ) with Ray Tracing turned off. I am running the AMD beta drivers. Resetting the Shader Cache seems to have fixed the cause of my specific stuttering issue. However, I have saved my game now, so I will be keen to see if the stuttering reappears at any time to see if it is related to the Shader Cache. In Adrenaline software, find the setting under "Global Gaming Experience." I have attached my DxDiag in case it helps Bioware and EA / AMD patch in some permanent fixes. I hope by sharing my experience, I can share a possible workaround for the time being with my fellow gamers suffering from stuttering problems, albeit a temporary solution. RegardsSolved
