[PC] House of the Dead Crashing
I'm going to try this one more time more concisely and then I'll just hope for the best, I guess: When the cut-scene for the first confrontation with Hezenkoss during House of the Dead (the one in the Fade) should trigger, I instead crash to desktop. Fiddled with graphic settings, didn't help. Happens every time, the first 100% consistent crash on a cut scene I've found, as opposed to the game just doing it randomly and then running fine on a second try. I assume this is related to something known to be occurring for people playing through Steam. This is my fourth playthrough and I've not experienced the issue prior to it. Attaching a save file (hopefully zipped correctly but if not someone who could use the info pls let me know if I did it wrong and if so how to correct it because I am genuinely trying to help). I saved right on the cliff/overhang directly before where you jump down to confront her but for some reason the save always loads me back to the area where you fight the rage demon (which is already dead. Weird). It's not too far away, no other enemies to fight. Specs as far as I can tell that the nebulous "you" I am theoretically speaking to need/want: On Steam, using no mods at all. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 16.0 GB Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorWhite screen and frozen game at meditating action
It seems like every time I medidate in Rook's room the screen turns white but does not proceed with the scene. This started happening yesterday, and the only thing I can do is force-shut down the game. Except that then the EA app registers the game as "still playing" so I need to switch off my PC every single time and try again. Now it happens with the wardrobe as well (as in the screen stays black for a bit, then reload Rook's room except that everything is frozen) and even when I shut down and reload, I cannot use the meditating action anymore (or the wardrobe), so I cannot proceed with the game. I also tried reloading a previous save but I am still stuck.Dragon Age Vielguard Constant Crashes
Specs: GPU Rx6700xt CPU ryzen 5 5600 Ram: 16 GB Whenever i play Dragon Age it crashes anywhere from instantly to 30 mins without fail. Sometimes when it crashes i have to completely restart the computer, if it doesnt cause my computer to restart i am unable to reopen steam and have to restart my computer anyways, I have tried everything, updating drivers, reinstalling shader cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, reinstalling windows etc. and the problem still continues.Xbox Can't progress - ground missing, excessive loading
Played through once with no issues. Started a new playthrough, and the game is now unplayable. I noticed someone else posted about this, but the post seemed to have been ignored, so I'm posting again. Loading times in and out of cutscenes has become excessively long. The screen goes blank, and it seems as though the game has frozen or crashed, but then after 30-45+ seconds, it will eventually load. This is frustrating but not game-breaking. The most serious and game-breaking new issue arose when starting The Smuggled Relic Case quest. Upon travelling to Dock Town, in the opening cutscene and convo, the cobblestone streets of Minrathous have vanished, and Neve and Rook are walking on nothing. As soon as the quest loads to following Neve, Rook immediately starts falling until they hit an open body of water and die. Attempting to load the most recent save immediately opens with Rook falling again. It's an endless loop. I can go back to the save right before attempting to start the quest, but as soon as I travel to Dock Town it automatically starts the quest, and the same issue returns. It is now impossible to progress the main story. I have tried restarting the game, restarting the console, reinstalling the game.[EA App][PC] Possible crash in character creator and pre-order DLC not unlocking
Hi I have noticed this on at least three occasions. When starting a new playthrough on the PC in the character creator, Importing the character appearance from local save games from previous playthroughs during character customisation caused DATV to crash to the desktop without an error message. I will check the Windows event manager shortly. You will appreciate that providing save games for "EA/Bioware" is rather challenging when investigating and replicating the issue by importing the appearance. A secondary observation is that importing a character's appearance and visiting the lighthouse for the first time may have caused problems saving games and syncing to content servers. I do not get a DLC chest to spawn during the first visit. So far, the playthroughs in which I have accessed the "pre-order and deluxe" bonus items ( DLC chest) have all been done with a manually created and customised Rook appearance instead of importing the appearance from a previous playthrough.
