EA App failure to launch
Hello, Yesterday the ea app was working perfectly normally. Today it's coming up with a message saying 'The app failed to launch' followed 30 seconds later by another window saying 'Failed to log in' and a error code reading EC:10005. I have tried repairing, uninstalling and doing a clean install and checked firewall and internet settings but nothing yet has worked.81Views2likes2CommentsUnable to launch game due to "not owning the game"
I've been working with the support to try and resolve this, but they directed me to the forums. I can't launch my Red Alert 3 from my library. I bought the game back when it came out on CD-Rom and added it on Origin as was required. After the update to the EA-app (and I think the launch of the C&C remastered collection). The game no longer is able to download as I get an error messages stating: Which is silly as I'm looking at the CD-Rom lying in front of me. The game doesn't have its own gamehub and the only option under the three dots is to download it, which gives this error. Having down the usual gamut of uninstalling, repairing, cache clearing, restarting etc. The service team couldn't help me further and directed me to post over here. Is there anyone who can help me out? Can't purchase Sims 4: Lovestruck – cart won't update
Hello, I’m experiencing an issue trying to purchase The Sims 4: Lovestruck Expansion Pack during the current sale. Every time I try to add the pack to my cart through the EA App or the EA website, I get the following error: "We're having trouble updating your cart." This only happens with Lovestruck. I’ve already successfully purchased another DLC from the sale using the same account, region, and payment method, so the issue is not related to my location or payment. I’ve already tried: Restarting the EA App Clearing the cache using App Recovery Switching to English language Logging in through a browser (Chrome) Re-adding my payment method None of these steps resolved the issue. Please help me complete the purchase or advise what else I can do. Thanks in advance, Roni.started as a failure to launch
Started as a failure to launch, now after 4-5 EA advisors and all the things they have done on their end as well as all the things they have had me do on my end including a clean boot. I was getting a notification that I dont own the title, now i am getting a game ownership disabled or deleted message after being asked to uninstall and reinstall not only the EA app multiple times, clearing the cache, running as administrator, and then uninstalling the sims 4 game itself, to trying to download again to only get the ownership disabled or deleted, to be asked to uninstall again to have a corrupt file thats preventing the uninstall only to be told to do a repair on a game that isnt even downloaded. attaching screenshots of the mayhem in order . fixed the last one, now i am back to game ownership disabled or deleted, and now they have sent another whatever to to whoever to fix the " bug" and I am probably out the money i have spent on 55 sims games and add ons.I don't like this app.
I bought ME:LE on Steam. I want to play it but I heard the EA app was buggy, ate money, and had privacy concerns. I thought to myself: "That sounds right about in line with EA." So I used the Origin workaround for a while until you guys dropped Origin. Now I can't play Mass Effect without being taxed somehow. Even though I already bought the game. I just won't then. You took away Mass Effect just like you took away the studio that made it. I miss EA from the 90's. I wish you guys cared about people and not just money. You won't get any more from me. -Disappointed gamer61Views1like2Comments
