[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!26KViews7likes213CommentsError code EC:10000
I can no longer access my account with EA Desktop: Error code EC:10000 “problem with my account” (Don't tell me to clear my cache or check my proxy.) Until the end of 2025, I was able to play Dragon Age Inquisition. Since the beginning of 2006, after an update to the EA application, I get error code EC:10000 ! (Don't tell me to clear my cache or check my proxy.) And yet, with Chrome, I can still log into my account... but not with the EA APP !!! -=> So a botched update to the EA app broke everything, and it's not a problem with my account ! (Don't tell me to clear my cache or check my proxy.) . WHERE IS THE [VERBOSE] CHANGELOG ? . WHAT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE EA APP ? (Don't tell me to clear my cache or check my proxy.) 057e2c1b-01ab-4d81-a1be-7c5245452e84EA app will only open in Epic Games Launcher ... I don't have that!
TS4 won't open the game unless it is in the Epic Games launcher, which I don't have installed and never have had installed on this laptop. It's frustrating because after the pop-up my game won't open, and theres a 5% chance the actual Sims 4 will open. I have tried removing mods, custom content, save lifes, reinstalling the game, restarting the EA app... everything! I'm going insane! This has been going on since New Years Eve.27Views0likes0CommentsDA: Inquisition Requires Epic when purchased on EA app
I bought Dragon Age Inquisition a long time ago. I can't remember much about when, but I used whatever EA's thing was at the time, I'm thinking Origin, and I bought it through there. When I go to the ea app, I can see the games I've purchased. I installed Dragon Age from there, but every time I launch it, it launches the Epic Games store, as if to verify the purchase. But I don't own the game on Epic, so it just kind of fiddles out into nothing, and goes back to the epic library. I've tried reinstalling all apps, updating drivers, 7 different solutions from semi-related forum posts. But no matter what I do, the game will not launch. Epic just pops up. I even uninstalled Epic, and the app tells me I need to DOWNLOAD Epic, and errors out. What the heck is going on? Please help. :(154Views0likes4CommentsEA App Installation Timeout Error
Hi Everyone, If you'll are facing this stupid issue and have tried all methods of cleaning your folders and all but still get it. I have a solution for it since none of the methods in the forum worked. But still before trying this one just clear everything that's related to EA. So this error was not an issue from EA side it's from your laptop antivirus that's preventing it. Just turn of this feature before installing and then turn it back on after installation. Turn off Ransomware Protection in Windows Defender (Windows 10 / 11) Steps: Open Windows Security Press Windows key → search Windows Security → open it. Go to Virus & threat protection Click Manage settings (under Virus & threat protection settings) Scroll down and select Manage Controlled folder access Toggle Controlled folder access to Off Confirm the User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Note: Controlled Folder Access is the ransomware shield in Windows Defender. Turning it off removes protection for protected folders like Documents, Desktop, etc. ooooooooooooooo Turn off Ransomware Protection in Avast Antivirus Steps Open Avast Antivirus Click Protection (left panel) Select Ransomware Shield Clicktoggle Ransomware Shield directly to Off Choose a duration if prompted (e.g., 10 minutes, Until restart, or Indefinitely) oooooooooooooo And Yes it was Ransomeware Sheild which was literally deleting the folder after getting installed 😭 Hope it fixed your issue. I've linked my EA games app with Epic Games. If I unlink the accounts I can't re-link them until Feb of next year! I clicked to install my new game and it opens EA app to download it. Cool. The EA app doesn't say it's linked to Epic Games but my EA account on web browser DOES say I'm connected. I try to launch Madden in EA app and it says I don't own it? Completely useless! Going to request a refund if this isn't fixed in the next 24 hours.Ea launches epic launcher causing long wait time
Hello, I would like to know if there is a work around this problem, I got BF6 redsec through epic (worst gaming decision I've ever done so far) they prompted me to create this ea account, so now when launching the game from desktop, ea launches then epic then 5min+ wait for the whole thing to boot which is very frustranting. I was wondering if I can delete the game from epic and have it back again in ea store, without the link between the two companies, I ve tried the following to no avail: clean uninstall reinstall bf6, epic, ea, independently but ea recognizes that bf6 has epic stamp and i can't continue the install unless i have epic Contacted both support to delete the game from epic library which both said we can't do anything. All i have left is to delete this account, but then I'll lose the account and progress forever since I can't re use my email. Frankly, this is very frustration how gray everything is and how they force you to use platforms you're not confortable with, just to gather all data they can get their hands on and blast you with ads. If someone has an idea on what to do please don't hesitate106Views0likes1Comment
