I completely understand the concept around the micro transactions within the game shop. But as avid skate fans could we at-least have some decent merchandise? No one is interested in board stickers… it could do with Etnies / blind / world industries / element / spitfire / plan b / girl / chocolate / zero… the list is endless and the game does not include any of it?????Quality of life improvements for guild Officers
There is a few things that as a guild officer can become quite infuriating and could be so very easily fixed, so I'm hoping that I can attract some attention with a post here. Improve tools for TB. So many times when preloading planets someone will make a mistake and push us over 1 star at the worst time, a way to lock planets going past stars would be amazing. Better chat implementation, for the most part it is very difficult to send and receive messages in game, a notification system would make guild communication alot better, especially as not everyone wants Discord. A performance hub would be ideal as well, so guild leaders and officers have the tools to quickly moderate each members performance. These are a few of my top thoughts but if anyone else wants to add anything on this post it would be great67Views3likes1CommentFaceoffs and the pressure system
If we have to deal with this terrible pressure system, then let's make this more like real hockey. If there is a faceoff, and it isn't icing, then both teams should start with full health after the faceoff. The coach would have changed lines and the players would not be forced to remain on the ice. Icing , you can't change lines, this should be the only time you start with less than full health. How ridiculous is it that the team who has just been scored on, has no energy on the faceoff after the goal. How does it make sense that players are still out of energy after a goal has been scored? Why are the effects of the pressure system still there? The game is so broken as it is, why keep making it worse?2Views0likes0CommentsBad weekly challenges?
Has any else noticed how bad these weekly challenges are? In the past games it usually would push you to try different playstyles, but you could usually do them in whatever game mode you enjoyed ( I know occasionally it required a specific mode like Rush, but not often and not a lot of that mode ). This is just shoving you in to all the new RedSec modes that I am not only not interested in, but strongly dislike. I went from absolutely loving this game, to dreading turning it on just a day later. I played for an hour and a half last night, barely made progress on the challenges and never played a minute of a mode I wanted. I had zero enjoyment and very little progress. I personally think it is unacceptable to force game modes on players in the weeklies. What happens to the new RedSec, free-to-play players when Conquest is a weekly? They just can't complete it? Or will it only ever require RedSec modes and screw over the veteran BF player base? They knew this would bother people because they added the "rerolls" for those weekly challenges, but there's a limit of 5 on them. Do you get more the next week? Do you have to buy more? I never missed a single weekly in BF2042 for probably close to 2 years. I enjoyed it, even if I was frustrated sometimes. I could knock them out in a night usually and then just get back to playing normally. Maybe I got particularly bad challenges this week, but doing the math, I'd have to spend my entire playtime for the week in RedSec modes to complete these challenges and progress the pass. I'd rather either just not engage in the battle pass or find a different game to play altogether. I really like unlocking things and feeling like I'm making progress on something while I'm playing a game, but when I know I'm not really making progress, or I'm hating playing, it feels pretty bad. Does anyone else feel this way, or is that just me? For reference, my weekly missions I'm complaining about are: - Capture Zones in Gauntlet: Deadlock (0/1) - Complete Headhunter mission in Battle Royal (0/5) - Loot superior items in Battle Royal (0/1) - Win matches in Strikepoint (0/3) - Complete matches in Gauntlet (0/5) If I do enough of that garbage, I earn the right to do my "Bonus": - Complete missions in Battle Royale (0/15) There are also a few weapon/playstyle ones which I'm fine with. No complaints there. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man (39 years old). I have absolutely no problem with BF having a Battle Royale, or a knockout "Fall Guys" style mode, or a Counter Strike rip-off mode of Strikepoint. I have played all of those games. I hope those modes do well too, but I if I wanted those I'd just go play those games. I come to Battlefield for Conquest and Breakthrough that nobody else does as well as BF. TLDR: Please don't make me spend my entire week playing modes I don't want to be in, or else have to completely give up on caring about progress in this game. I'd like to buy a battle pass every season, and you guys probably want my money, but I certainly won't do it again if this is what the weekly challenges are like.330Views16likes10CommentsAurodium LST $24.99??
CG! Why is this new Aurodium LST $24.99, when all previous Aurodium LSTs have been $14.99??? And Kyber for $29.99??? This really doesn't help the negative comments about the massive monetization rammed up our hyperdrives with the new update, coliseum fiasco, and insane requirements for the upcoming Maul event and then you increase LST prices by $10? These are the decisions that make players not spend money anymore and end games57Views1like2CommentsAdd Ability to Replay Story Missions
I'd say this is fairly low on the list of priorities, but it seems weird that we're able to replay any of the challenges as many times as we want, but once you finish the story missions, they're just gone forever. I know most people aren't really interested in the story, but it almost feels like you guys aren't interested in it either, when I can't see those parts of the game anymore. Plus I kept accidentally skipping dialogue because I would forget that you don't have to press a button to continue, so I missed some of the story. It also makes the "Missions" menu feel pointless, as they already showed on the map and there are visual indicators in-game as well, but now that menu is completely empty. So, since I don't want the map to be even more cluttered than it already is, it would be great if we could just see the full list of missions and have them crossed off or have a check mark put next to them as they get completed. Then we could have it show on the map, if needed, when we select it for a replay. Or, at the absolute bare minimum, have an option to completely reset progress for the story missions. Let players keep everything else they've completed/unlocked like challenges, levels and clothing, but start over on the Isle of Grom. If nothing else, it'd be cool to see that place again with the knowledge gained from skating around San Vansterdam for a few dozen hours.Conference Tour Challenge
Conference tour “home sweet home: kickoff” challenge is bugged out. Cannot get 5 stars no matter what because the challenges are; td, says 20+ yd kickoff return on screen but says 35+ in game, 50+ yd rushing “this drive” but 60+ in game. The problem is that you start on kick return, and no matter if you return 35+ yds or take it to the house, you will always fail the rushing challenge because the game counts the return as a drive. Impossible to finish the full challenge because EA is incompetent.
