Maybe TLDR... or spend few minutes while eating pop corn ... but if you read, do it properly, not read half lines and assume you got the point! So yes, I’ve decided to write about yet another failure in the NFS series — which, let's face it, is dead, but EA keeps resurrecting it because flashy visuals still sell to untrained minds and easily impressed teenagers. First off, let’s talk about the sound design. As with most studios lately, the sound editors here seem to have no idea what human hearing even is — let alone how sound actually feels. The difference between environmental sound and speaker-driven noise seems lost on them. The result? It all sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel or bathroom. It’s like we’re being experimented on, and game companies just smile while turning the dial toward intentional irritation. I honestly got sick — and I mean really sick — every single time I accelerated. That endless “bam boom bam boom” of synthetic pedal hammering is so intrusive it might as well be shouting, “Quit the game and never come back!” Then there’s the absurd “volume innovation,” where the engine sounds louder at low RPM than at higher speeds. Really? And don’t even get me started on how all other sound drops the moment dialogue kicks in. I had to completely mute voices just to enjoy the cars I chose. It’s a headache, not a feature. The game clearly panders to this exaggerated “woke-gangsta” aesthetic — something you’ll notice right away from the tone of the update notes. It’s all “yo” and “ya” and over-the-top attitude, chains, earrings, and leg-dragging swagger like it’s trying to impress some imaginary street-cred algorithm. Visually? The car editor is another failure. Clicking on a part causes the camera to jump like a flash grenade just went off — jarring, disorienting, and far from smooth. As for the mouse control? It’s like trying to rotate a tank with a mouse tied to a cement block. Want to spin 360°? Better have biceps and desk space to match. And the HUD… my eyes hurt just thinking about it. It’s not blur — it’s layered text effects pretending to be edgy design. Who came up with the idea to stack transparent copies of numbers? It's just a guaranteed path to eye strain. Cookie for that “brilliant” move? And finally — when you keep putting out games that get worse every time, and your response to criticism is to hide behind forum moderators and “codes of conduct”… well, that says everything. The real “shield” isn’t protecting the community — it’s shielding your ego. 14/7/2025 UPDATE: Had to add few more important lines here to make it more clear on what I see.. Visibility Issues in Tunnels During rainy conditions, especially in tunnels, visibility drops massively — rival cars often appear pitch-black, making collisions nearly unavoidable. Weak LOD and Asset Pop-In Level of Detail is way too shallow. Objects, roads, and traffic pop in late at high speeds, ruining immersion and reaction time. Can't play with binoculars attached on my head! Unrealistic Car Behavior Mid-Air When a car loses contact with the road, it instantly aligns to camera direction — totally illogical, immersion-breaking, and just plain annoying. Cop Mechanics Are Overpowered Police pickups (hello, Colorado tanks) chase me down no matter how fast I go — even in hypercars. It’s laughably unbalanced, even for arcade physics. This has been a plague since NFS MW 2005 even, you never learn obviously. Traffic Density = Crash Festival Traffic spawns in unpredictable clumps, making high-speed escapes or clean race lines nearly impossible. I’ve crashed more in this game than in the entire Underground series combined — and no, it's not a skill issue. Broken Launch & Speed Balance Between Cars Same-class rivals magically launch faster and outrun me effortlessly, even in relaxed mode. Can’t do wizardry behind the wheel — I came here to race, not cast spells. Lack of Racing Identity Cops spawn in nearly every race, forcing chase sequences constantly. The game feels more like Need for Chase Unbound than a true racing title. Constant car selection by force! When I head to a race, I do so by having picked already a car I want.. so why do I have to forcefully pick or confirm my car every **bleep** time? It already got tiresome and a chore and If i wanted to change, I could so in the way NFS payback and heat did... by choice, not force. Am I to enter a lower category race? ok, I can pick my car on my own or use the one I have, even if higher tier, why do I have to be restricted when I put effort to buy and customize it? And no.. I never play online those games, I prefer my solo peace than dealing with teens and show offs. I don't get it, why must every race, raise heat for crumbs of money? Safeguard your precious fake money from us in a vault if you want even, but this, is ridiculous and laughable. And I thought NFS heat was bad... seems you could even worse as you did, nothing hew here ! At least in NFS heat, I can race during day and still enjoy it, even if i now have millions of $ there, I like the feeling of racing in hard mode there and trying to compete without hitting my opponents or smashing everything in my way. I’m not here to bulldoze through traffic or play demolition derby — I want to enjoy driving, feeling the rush, not smashing things like I’m commanding a tank.bring backs / Update please
So I am so happy that Burglars are back, Thanks you, there are other things that need to bring back. Cars Shops- I love that we can now order groceries again. but can we add other thinks to that or have a similar shop you can order things like vacuums, Lamps, radios, more picture frames. clutter things. like we do on Amazon or Walmart.com. I always forget to put a Vacuum or radio in and them the sim has a want for it and i have to go back into build mode and get it.. add it as a app on the cell phone. Just spit balling here. Medical Clinics - We need the ability to have our sims that are in the medical profession buy and run their own clinic. the default hospital needs an update and is great when they are learning but once the sim has gone to college and graduated. they need to option to start their own practice or work at the hospital1View0likes0CommentsDefensive RTG is unplayable
The coach grade dropping is far too aggressive. This has been stated before, but this fix should be prioritized. - No weighting on defensive grade drops - I get -15 for a gain of 1 on 3rd and 9? Context matters. This isn't offset enough for "defensive stop" - I don't get credit for PBUs for other defenders, but I get deducted if they allow a catch. Same for throw aways? - Good / Great coverage is bugged. Appears randomly - As stated, academics value per energy is not realistic Considering we can adjust exp and sliders, just let us turn on/off the grades. I just want to play without playing 1 drive per quarter before I get dropped. I don't necessarily think this is "skill issue". I think it's unfair to penalize an individual player for a defensive unit. The joy of this game comes from being hercules on a bad squad, but that's impossible if my 64 edge defender can't set the edge while I'm playing cornerback on the opposite side.Fantasy/Sci-Fi/etc. Themed Packs
With EbN most of the supernatural Life States are in Sims 4. I would of course like more but a general satisfaction that if you have RoM/V/W/EbN you finally almost have the equivalent to Sims 3 Supernatural. Sims 3 Supernatural (my first Sims 3 pack) is what got me hooked on buying all Sims 3 packs and almost the entire Sims 3 store, so that is why I mention it. But because I am a fantasy/sci-fi based player, non-fantasy/sci-fi packs and packs that do not compliment fantasy/sci-fi type themes don't interest me much—so that means there are more packs I rather skip/not buy than buy (but I am also aware many players feel the opposite too). At least that is what I found in Sims 4, it is easier to skip packs in Sims 4 than Sims 3. Also funny enough, I had no interest in the Journey to Batuu (I mean I probably would like the CAS and Build by the rest of the pack I have zero interest), just the Star Wars universe doesn't really have a place in my Sim worlds (but I might buy it (on sale), if they add a Dystopian EP/GP). With this, new packs are really going to have to impress me to buy, otherwise I need hard convincing just to buy packs when they are on sale. So here are some idea for packs that might interest fantasy/sci-fi/themed game style players and may or may not interest non-fantasy/non-sci-fi/non-themed game style players. Steampunk, bring back inventing that is more tinkerer/eccentric based that can work for past, modern and (dystopian) future themed players. I loved using both Ambitions/WA and the steampunk store packs (including Midnight Hollow) to create a sort of industrial steampunk themed game. This could probably be a GP but you'd wow me if you did a EP. Medieval, also a fan of Dragon Valley and baby dragons. I think many players would love to be technology free (no cell phones/computers/TVs/etc.) especially for a non-ECO off the grid challenge. I'd suggest an EP, make it so you can play past/modern tech (or lack of tech). Underground and/or Underwater Biodome, my fav Sims 2 lot was a the Biodome, I still want to see that again revised. But for a fallout or future playstyle this would be so cool. Or even ocean exploration themed. Space Station/Spaceship, or some future world. I loved Into the Future and Oasis landing! I miss nanites and the regular or dystopian versions of the future world. Whimsical, I loved the Looking Glass/Wonderland store items, I sort of used Midnight Hollow and utopian future to play an Alice in Wonderland theme game. I'd love a tea party table (I loved the store tea set table). This could be a GP or very least a SP (similar to how Paranormal works) but please not a Kit (it wouldn't be enough to work with). The idea of oversized items, from being shrunk (misses oversized flowers). How to make this work for non-fantasy themed players, theme park lots/capability for themed lots, to keep fantasy Sims in certain worlds/lots similar to werewolves staying in their world. Adventure Worlds, aka Al Simhara, Shang Simla and Champs Les Sims, JA is nice but I really loved these worlds too. This is themed but not fantasy/sci-fi so more people should be able to enjoy.70Views2likes5CommentsDNF after final whistle
after going up 4-2 in extra time, the final whistle blows and the game immediately disconnects giving me a dnf and receiving a loss. Missing out on the futties champs kickoff objective and my rank 3 rewards all because of one game disconnecting even though i won my final game4Views0likes1CommentDynasty Suggestions for the future
I have to admit the feel of the whole games is much better than last year. I will enjoy figuring it all out as it goes along. However, I know that developers pay less attention to these boards the older they get, so a few things I would love to see added for the next year. A full coaching staff for each team. 105 man rosters 2 portal recruiting windows (allow players to be cut during the portal windows - so they would pop up in the portal as well) Recruiting points should cost less for local prospects in more than just visits. Scouting should be cheaper for local prospects, sending coaches, etc. I know this was said, but didn't seem to have an impact with the few teams I have run through so far. winter conditioning, spring practices, summer training, and fall camp. At a minimum allow for some depth by choosing what you have players work on. Pretty sure EA did this with baseball years ago. Quit relying on the player base to adjust the sliders for a realistic play of the game, this should be the base sliders when released. This is why you have Beta and probably should be used much earlier than you currently schedule it. Coach mode. Bring back a pure coach mode where I control the plays, but do not control the actual game play. I find that much more challenging when the sliders are right. (I will admit I do like that the QB will now take off and scramble if you use current coach mode on his own) Allow us to reset coach points after the end of the season if you are not going to allow us to max it out. Keep their base archetype, but allow us to redesign what seems to work best for us. Quit adding make believe players to rosters. If they are not full then leave them that way or use one you didn't include from that team. More annoying to have a random create a player on the rosters than the players who didn't opt in. This just give more slots to recruit the next year rather than some random name appearing on your roster. Allow renaming, deleting, or creating of conferences. Doesn't hurt to have the option. NIL is a big thing with college football now and it is not in the game... Allow full customization of fake players, race, hair, etc. You are generating way too many people who hail from the mountain of the caucasus in here. 13. Change the way you handle ATH designation. Show what positions they are capable of and allow them to stay an athlete for two way play or change to a primary position. This would allow for the player to earn experience at both, but at a decreased amount for a player who is not primarily focusing on one position. 14. Quit making position change stagnant. We should be able to change their position at any time during the year. It happens in real life so not sure why you are trying to make it more difficult then it needs to be.108Views4likes10Comments
