Enough is enough! Game unplayable for days – and CG/EA stays silent!
For over 3 days now, SWGoH has been completely unplayable on mobile and iOS – constant login errors, endless loops, and absolutely no fix or proper communication from the devs. Thousands of players are affected, and yet Capital Games continues to push out new characters like nothing is wrong. This is not just neglect — it's disrespect. We’ve spent years playing and a lot of money supporting this game, only to be treated like mindless wallets. No transparency, no updates, no accountability. Wake up, everyone! This is daylight robbery and a complete slap in the face to a loyal community. This is not a good day for Galaxy of Heroes. The Order 66 raid is probably one of the most insulting updates we have received. Rushing to implement lore inaccurate unit requirements to drive up profits with marquee characters will do significant damage to the player base. Sure a handful of diehard players who spend money on the new units will play due to buyers remorse and the sunk cost fallacy but it’s not worth it to disenfranchise the casual players who spend money and completely ruin the appeal for free to player players. I am in no way convinced this is good for the future of the game. Players who wanted to relive one of their favorite moments of the franchise have now been robbed of the opportunity. The raid should’ve been completely different. It should’ve been something like pick an Anakin and some clones and get different score modifiers depending on the units you used. Jedi Knight Anakin with any clones would be 0 multiplier. General Skywalker with 501st would be 1.5x/2x score modifier. Lord Vader with dark side clones would be 3x/4x score modifier. There could’ve also been a way to implement the raid so you either play as Vader raiding the temple or play as Jedi staving off his attack. We didn’t get that however. We received a roster of units that make no sense. We have Qui-Gon being eligible despite the fact that he was dust in the wind on Naboo. We have pirates who were never involved in raiding the temple from complete separate time periods far away from Coruscant. We have the bad batch units who were running from the Empire for years after order 66. This update is a disaster. It should not have been released. So little forethought went into this or it was done deliberately to **bleep** interest in the player base. this latest update is so bad that I just can’t find much pleasure in playing anymore. It took me a while to figure out why my Jabba squad did not get any rewards for dropping level 9…….. because I did not PURCHASE a pass to collect my loot!?! WTH is this! I have been pretty faithful since game release, and if memory serves, it was right around this time of year. This game has evolved so dramatically to the point where you have to spend. I did in fact spend, not as much as some. This latest move though, to rope us into your store and force us to pay more, that has got to be the biggest **bleep** move this group has done since release, so it’s appropriate for me to say farewell at this full cycle of the anniversary of release. It was seven years ago I posted the desire to add the most iconic ship outside maybe only the Millenium Falcon to the holotables. I'm now nearly 8 years in game and your latest Conquest toon wasn't starting to build a counter for Leviathan. Wasn't an iconic ship even of any sort. It was building a kit for a 5 second cameo I have zero interest in ever seeing the light of day. I enjoyed your game, endured your datacrons, led a guild that is now top inside the top 300 when full, Instead we get fed what isn't even a real character, just a vision of one. This is the last straw for me. While I remain faithful to the Star Wars Saga, I've had enough of SWGOH and the recent junk of meta you release, the order you release them and the fact that they continue to OP original meta, without bothering to rework the meta of the meta that created both the fanbase and this game. This is now a game and company so lost in a galaxy far, far away and so out of touch with the original player base, it's astounding. I've endured enough disappointment. I'm signing off. Twice in the last two days, while using a GL Ahsoka Spectre team in Territory Battles, the ability buttons disappeared and never came back. The characters stood there doing their idle movement, and turning on Auto battle did nothing. When will anyone do anything about this? EA/CG profiting off of missed rewards in TB and doing NOTHING. It is crazy. I've reported 3 times. If it is impacting nearly EVERYONE in my guild it has to be impacting half of the players with GLAT. I've wasted resources to r9 the squad and an omi on Huyang that could have actually paid dividends elsewhere. Such bull**bleep**. CG_Meathead Heya! Figured I'd just make a new post for this possible Quality of Life update! Overall Topic - Ability to "SIM" or Quick Battle Mission in Territory Battle. For this too work, we would need to bring the 3 star system into ROTE TB. When attempting a battle, a few locations have become hyper focused for certain teams even when they are not required units. My primary example is using Inquisitors - Reva Lead, Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister, and fill in Inquisitor (For me it is Marrok currently because of the TB Omicron,) against the Acklay on Geonosis. Upon using above mentioned squad and completing the battle without losing a single character I would earn a 3 star Victory screen. - Fast Forward to future ROTE TB - The next time I would go into this battle (Acklay,) there could either be a new "FILL IN SIM SQUAD" button, or Cg could require us to recall the exact squad lineup we used in the mission. Then upon either pressing that new fun button or filling in the squad manually, the green "BATTLE" button would change into the new SIM or AUTO BATTLE button. Then lastly upon pressing that new button, the game would automatically take the squad as if we were deploying them into the battle, force the player out to the map overview of the TB and then finally as if we completed the battle the points for the battle would jump on screen and be recorded within the log text of activity! ------- This would easily save us players hours per each TB. While also allowing the game to essentially show progress as it would normally! Special missions, I.e. Lord Vader Solo, Cere-Cal Zeffo Unlock mission, could work the same way. Which then also saves dozens of minutes or more of moving mods back and forth between characters. Also, not every single mission has to be Sim-able or we could have the option to go ahead and proceed normally and participate in the battle. The only part of ROTE TB that could be quite difficult with the Sim-Ability would be fleet battles because of the difficulty to achieve a victory in some of the fleet battles, let alone not lose a single ship.
