SIMS 4 CHALLENGE LIST (Updated May 24, 2021)
The purpose of this thread is to create a current list of all available challenges for The Sims 4. This includes Legacy and many other type challenges. There have been other threads in the past, but they haven't been updated in at least a year, so here's a new one that will be much more up to date. Please feel free to add any new challenges in the comments! Any thoughts on how you would like to see this list formatted are welcome. Thank you to @Nicarra60 for all the work you put into the original post. I have organized the challenges below by "types" of challenge. To submit a challenge to be added to the list, please include the challenge name and a working link for full challenge rules. 2. Challenges submitted MUST have their own forum thread or blog/website post for rules. Any challenges posted with rules within this thread will NOT be added to the list. 3. Read below for tips on creating a new challenge. 4. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! Here are some excellent tips when creating a new challenge, written by @EuphorialQueen: When I am reading thru a new challenge suggestion I look for a few key items: What is the story behind the challenge? Tell me something to make me interested in reading more about the challenge. Is it based on another existing challenge? Is it a complete challenge with a beginning, middle and end? How do I start, how do I play and what is the ultimate goal or how do I 'win'? Do the rules or guidelines seem reasonable and can goals set by the challenge actually be achieved? Has the person posting the challenge play tested it? By posting a challenge on a blog or in the forums it is much easier to discuss and ask questions. When updating a challenge or change the guidelines just edit the thread where it is posted. Starting too many threads on the same challenge or subject only adds to confusion and leads to information being lost. These are only suggestions and offer a view of how I - as one person - review challenges. Thank you for your time. How do you change the body shape?
Been trying to figure out how to change the body shape of one of my characters that I already created in my game and everything I have tried has not worked so far. The button that says body does not seem to work. And I have read a lot of posts here and on youtube but the commands don't seem to work in my game. Is there some new code that does work that I may not be aware of? Anyways, here is an example of one post that I tried and it did not work: Can't post a link, but I will copy some things I have tried here: Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheats console. Type the following, then press enter: testingCheats on Type the following, then press enter: cas.fulleditmode Press Esc to close the console. Now Shift + Click any of your Sims, and select Edit in CAS Change everything from body, to traits, names, voices and so on. Once you are done, hit Okay on the bottom right to save the changes. I understand you first type in testingcheats on. Then what do I do to be able to completely edit, body, face and all? Where would you type in edit in full or what is the code to use? I've tried first testingcheats, then cas.editsiminfull, then clicked on my Sim to edit but could not edit her body or face. I also tried first testingcheats, then cas.fulledit mode but that didn't work. What am I missing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
List of Traits in The Sims 4
Hello! Despite the discussion collecting these already existing, I've decided to make my own traits list due to how these forums work (it starts from the first post, not the last post, and it takes long to reach the last post). This list contains all the traits in-game, both visible and hidden, in these sections: Base Game Expansion Packs Game Packs Stuff Packs & Kits Non-Pack Filtered Visible Traits Non-Pack Filtered Hidden Traits Popular traits Update Log To add a trait, you'll need to use this cheat: traits.equip_trait [trait_codename] And to remove a trait, you'll need to use this cheat: traits.remove_trait [trait_codename] In both cheats, [trait_codename] needs to be replaced with trait's codename. For most of the personality traits, it's same as its name, but there are exceptions (Erratic for example). Find the trait codenames in the list below. These lists will be kept updated as patches and packs come out. Please do not post under these trait lists. If you'd like to suggest traits for the popular section or want to discuss some traits, please reply to either this post or someone else's.
How to change wall/view mode
Again, since I have not played Sims 4 in a long time, I cannot remember how to make the change wall or view modes. Right now the walls are up partially view, how do you change the view to no walls or all walls? I am sorry if this is not the greatest description, but I cannot remember the terms! The control panel looks different from before, and I thought you could change this option (on the control panel) whilst in live mode. Is there someway to expand the control panel I think I might have collapsed it somehow? Thank you and anyone for help.
