[PC] Possible workarounds for Mass Effect Legendary Edition launch problems.
If the game does not start for you, there are several possible workarounds: Notice: Mass Effect Legendary Edition will not run on Windows 7. LE1 & LE2 will not run on CPUs with only 2 physical or logical cores. (You need 4 logical cores.) If you changed the global settings inside the "Manage 3D Settings" panel of the NVIDIA control panel anytime in the past, look at this post. Disable "Controlled folder Access" of the Windows defender. Disabling OneDrive PC folder backup. Corruptions in the "License" folder might also keep the games from starting. Make sure Origin and Steam are closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time Copy and paste C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services into the new window > hit ENTER. Move the "License" folder to your Desktop > Test. A overprotective Virus scanner or other security software could also block the access to game files. (If you use "Sophos Home Premium" or other Sophos products look at this post and this post .) Disabling Bluetooth on some motherboards fixed the issues for some players as well. The Nahimic audio service, which is installed with the Realtek audio drivers from some motherboard manufacturers like MSI or Asus, causes many problems, and here it does too, it seems. (The Realtek stand alone audio drivers normally don't have the Nahimic software installed.) ROG's Sonic Radar 3 is one of the apps that uses it. If you use a VPN, look at this post. Check if the regional settings of your EA account (not EA app) is set right . If you have the game on Steam and it will only launch EA app but not the game, a possible cause is in this thread. (Warning! This requires some deeper computer knowledge.) Fixed: If you have a Windows user name with special characters in it: Either: create an new Windows user account with only ASCII characters in it. > Reboot > Log on to the new account > Test. Or: Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "control" into the new window. (Without the quotes) > Hit ENTER. Choose "Region" > Administrative Tools > Change Locale > Check "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" > klick "OK" Reboot > Test. This issue was fixed with Patch 1.03 It looks like the game requires a CPU with AVX instruction set It turned out that only the Launcher needs the AVX instruction set. Almost all CPUs built for end consumer use in the last 10 years have this instruction set. However, if you are not sure, you can check the technical specifications of your CPU on the manufacturer's website. If you have this problem, in this post by is a workaround for the problem. (As always, use third party tools at your own risk.) This issue was fixed with Patch 1.0358KViews48likes448CommentsHow to spar with another vampire?
Im remaking my old vampire, i created a human and got Caleb to convert her. Now i am at the point where my vampire power level is high enough to spar with other vampires, but what is my surprise that i dont have any spar or duel options in my interactions with him or anyone else for the matter. Is there any special pre-requisite to be able to spar with other vampires? i looked all over the place, in the friendly menu, in the mean menu, i just dont have those interaction options. I cant advance through the aspiration goals. When i played more than one year ago i remember it was straight forward. Thanks in advance.8KViews2likes10Comments[PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode
Commander, you’ve received a new message at your private terminal! When logging into Mass Effect 3 or Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer. Mass Effect Andromeda - "Missing Online Access" Changes to the EA account cause these specific errors. These can include, but are not limited to, the following: EA Play subscription expired - This is the main reason in most cases Account Mergers A separate account downloaded the DLC, and the game does not recognize that your EA account owns the content. I've played the game for 2 months. I'm a casual player. Reached Div 3. Then decided I don't have much time for online play and my net wasn't so good at the time. Also, I've never minded the toxic community. In fact, I found it fun and challenging engaging with the toxic players whether in-game or in social media platforms. So I decided to stick to squad battles. Mind you, I had an insane team as well. However, squad battles was just unplayable. You've got the AI of the opponent team with just crazy dribbling, stuff you can't even do in the game and yes, my players cannot intercept their passes nor get the ball off of them. Understand that I had players with high strength and bruiser+ as well. Also, their AI defending compared to ours, it's just funny. You make it almost impossible to get the ball off of them when we defend manually but make my AI defenders just give their runners space. Their AI defenders, and even attackers, just get the ball off of my players that easily. Also they can catch up to my fastest players without even sprinting, idk if you know that and left it in the game or just ignored it altogether. And yes, I've tested out these mechanics with online play as well. I'm not just complaining about the gameplay, but your company's lack of effort to improve the game. Despite so many complaints, you guys at EA just fail to deliver. I really am disappointed because I've loved the FIFA games but it's just been a constant downhill since FIFA 19 and I always had high hopes for the upcoming FIFA but you guys kept disappointing. Honestly, idk if you guys actually listen to your player base or rather, you just listen to the big spenders. I doubt you even do that tbh. Either way, I'm glad you made sure not to improve the game and even though I tried so much to love the game, it just kept disappointing me. Thanks to your lack of effort, I can finally quit the game and I'll make sure not to purchase anymore of EA's FC or FIFA or whatever game you guys come up with in the future. And also, thanks to you guys, I've started enjoying eFootball more. Maybe play the game, you may just learn a thing or two from Konami. Cheers EA. P.S. I can't tell anyone how to enjoy or hate or play the game. Everyone has their own opinion but I would discourage others from playing the game if they ever truly wanted my opinion.47Views2likes0Commentshow do i freely rotate products in build mode?
I've looked online and it says to switch to sims 3 camera and hold down alt key this doesn't seem to be working for me on my laptop it just keeps showing me a symbol that looks like a camera and moving tool but doesn't do anything not seeing the grab hand everyone else seems to have? is there another way or what can i do please :)Account got hacked and now I've been banned
I need major help from a community manager or anyone. I was at work and received notifications that my password and email address had been changed. The account was hacked, and my FC Ultimate Team (PC) was logged into. I managed to recover it using my phone number and change all details back to my own. Once I've come home to start the game, I get an email saying I've been banned and all access to past, current, and future online FC titles no longer exists. Supposedly, I've broken TOS via cheating. Never in my 14 years of playing FIFA/FC titles have I ever cheated. Spent a boatload of my own money on FC points and made sure I was adhering to all the rules. I've submitted an appeal, and they've told me the ban is staying. I can't believe after all these years, never been given any warning of any wrongdoing, and now my account is gone. I've asked for a refund for my EA Play Pro membership, and they've said no. There is no use for me to have the membership if I can't access the only thing I need it for. It's like buying fuel when you don't have a car. What kind of customer service is this like? Asked to raise a formal complaint or put me through to a higher member of management who can deal with issues like this and got shot down. On PC only, there have been 450 purchases made. Why the hell would I cheat if I was buying so many things? Someone help me either sort out my account or get a refund. The TOS team is useless as well, takes a stupid amount of time to get back to you, and provides you with an answer that ChatGPT made up.Solved38Views1like1CommentCC Concern/Need Advice
Hi all! I just started using CC on my Lenovo Windows 11 and this glitch started showing up. I removed a bunch of CC clothes, shoes and hair that I didn’t use and also after Mod checker said the mesh graphics had issues. I do use skin overlays such as “doe skin” by Twisted Cat, could that be the issue? I have Mod checker, better exceptions and Sims4Studio downloaded. The ONLY update Sims4Studio found was for lashes and makeup which got updated. This glitch has ONLY been seen on townies. Please let me know any next’s steps I should take or any other websites that could help!Solved[PC] Mass Effect Unauthorized DLC Error
Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal! Ready to jump back in the game and save the galaxy? Are you running into an error that matches the following: "Unable to authorize the listed DLC"? Below are the steps to help resolve this error when launching both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Checking your account First things first. Make sure you are logged into the correct account. With older titles, we may often end up with multiple EA accounts without realizing it. Use the following steps to verify you are in the correct account. Head on over to EA.com and log in with your EA credentials. Under the About Me section, make sure you see a Mass Effect ID. If you play on Epic/Steam/Switch, check the Connections tab at the bottom of the page to verify the accounts are linked. Click on Order History, change the drop-down to match All, and scroll through the content, as there should be logs here with each DLC name. Note: If the EA account previously had an EA Play subscription, once the subscription ends, you will lose access to any additional content the subscription provides. You can read more about what content is included in the Learn about EA Play article. Once you verify you are in the correct account, perform the following steps below as these should help reinstall the DLC content and resolve these errors. Troubleshooting Steps Locate the following folder on their PC Default Path: C:\Program Files\EA Games. This path may vary depending on where the player installs the game. C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect 2\BioGame C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame Delete ALL DLC content within the DLC folder Delete EA License Files Make sure the EA app is closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER. Enable View Hidden Files and Folders Delete all files in the "License" folder. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you will need to contact one of our advisors to review the account and the content currently linked to the account you log into the game with. Players can contact our live support team on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email. Thanks!1.9KViews15likes0Comments
