Infinite saving/loading screens
I originally started having this issue after the September update and saw other people were having the same issue and followed all the advice given. updated all mods removed all CC started a new save (with no CC) removed off-the-grid lot types switched back to DX9 Unfortunately, none of these worked so I decided to wait until the next patch and try again. After the October patch, I updated everything and it's still happening. Whether I'm loading/travelling with a family, exiting CAS, or saving when building on a community lot. I'm completely out of ideas of what I can do at this point; I have plenty of space on my PC and while loading can be slow sometimes, I know that's because I have quite a few packs and CC and I've never minded. But the infinite screens are getting too much, I can't play the game at all without running in to one and I end up losing any progress I've made. Really hoping someone can help or this bug can be lessened at least in the next update. 🤞
FPS cap is not working after TITLE UPDATE 11
fps cap is not working in setup file and ingame settings after the TU11. the game overwrite the fps and force you to play with uncapped fps and that gives a huge input delay and stuttering... Dear EA team please fix this glitch asap because i can't play any game with this input delay..
Pixel Glitch in Game - HELP!!
For some reason my sims 4 has developed a issue where if anything pops up in front of the game screen (i.e. a notification from my desktop, or even just the volume control when I turn the volume up or down) then that part of the screen will be all weird and glitchy with multicoloured pixels. I have no mods, no CC, I've cleaned my desktop, I've deleted the localthumbcache a million times. I've even uninstalled the game and reinstalled which took forever because I have every pack. I'm literally completely lost what to do!! Does anyone have any idea?!
[CD] Missing Assets in Brindleton Bay
Hey everyone, I've been having major issues with The Sims 4 after installing the For Rent expansion pack. My saves became corrupted, and I also noticed that assets in Brindleton Bay and Evergreen Harbor are missing. Even after completely deleting For Rent from my game and starting a brand-new save file, the missing assets in both worlds are still gone. This issue seems to be linked to For Rent because the expansion is corrupting save files—Sims won’t do actions, or they take forever to move. Even after removing For Rent, my legacy save is still buggy—Sims act strangely and barely perform any actions at all. I've already tried repairing the game via the EA app, but the problems persist. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any known fix to restore Brindleton Bay and Evergreen Harbor and get Sims working normally again? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Stuck on save
I'm on a new save, building a house for my sims. Everything works super great and smooth, but the problem is that when I go to save i get stuck on the saving screen infinitely. I can close the game fine by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and opening the task manager to close sims, but it's just really annoying and hard to make progress. I'm assuming the issue is that when I go to save, something isn't fully loaded in and it freezes the game. I've found that making a few changes in build mode, then waiting for my computer to sleep a little, then going back to save works better but it's still excruciatingly slow to get anything done. I have CC and mods, which to be honest I totally need to clean out (I just don't know how lol) but other people that I found online that are having the same problem, had no CC and no mods so I'm not sure that it's the issue. I only started having this problem after installing the Life or Death expansion pack. I know a lot of other people have been having bugs with the pack but the posts I read from my specific problem were from a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what to try next, please help if u can <3Major bug when using pass assist with buttons
We discovered a major bug that prevents us from playing and progressing. With this bug, matches are not counted, meaning any team that is losing can use the pass button, which causes the game to glitch and rewind to the last face-off. Once a rewind occurs, the match will not be counted at the end. To reproduce the bug, activate pass assist with the indicators, hold the pass button and R2 to see the indicators, and press triangle, square, etc. This will trigger a rewind. If you do it multiple times, it will cause a game error, and if you do it just once, the match will not be counted. Honestly, this is the first time such a serious bug has prevented us from playing with friends. I hope you’ll fix it quickly. Thank you. This is a very specific bug symptom so please only post here if you see all of the below in your game. There are many similar issues, so this should be kept to this issue only. This can either be an extreme lag or a total freeze. Symptoms in the game Time stand still although there can be a delay where time moves for a but when part of UI is frozen You can't click on anything Sims move but do interactions endlessly Environment moves If you have multiple household members, you can't switch between them. Going to the map in this state can lead to endless loading You can still switch to build mode but only delete one item. Not all households are affected. Unsure what causes it. Unsure/More info needed It start happening at a specific time Computer starts to use up a lot of the resources Not this issue Sims don't respond to commands, standing around doing nothing
