Disk permissions loop in EA App on Mac with APFS external drive
Hi, I’m looking for help because I’m stuck in a disk permissions loop on macOS and EA support hasn’t been able to fix it. I’m using the EA App on Mac with an external WD Elements drive. The drive was previously NTFS, but I have successfully reformatted it to APFS using Disk Utility (GUID Partition Map). The drive now mounts correctly and I can manually read/write files to it in Finder with no issues. What I’ve already tried: Gave EA app Full Disk Access in System Settings → Privacy & Security Quit and relaunched the EA App Restarted my Mac Confirmed the external drive is APFS and not read-only Verified the drive appears normally in Disk Utility and Finder Despite this, the EA App still says it needs disk permissions and will not install or manage Sims 4 add-ons on the external drive. Has anyone run into this issue where: The external drive is already formatted correctly (APFS) Full Disk Access is enabled But the EA App still doesn’t recognize the permissions? Any help or advanced troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online

The EA App has a mind of its own. Even though I've toggled off auto open and all that, it will open on its own whenever it feels like. I've taken to putting it in the trash bin, and that seems to slow it down, but then it will revive itself, and move itself to the desktop just to open. I honestly don't know what to do.14Views0likes0CommentsEA App Install Error "Installation Timed Out"

MAC User I bought Get to Work, Toddler Stuff, and Outdoor Retreat. Everytime I try to download them I get this error (pictured below). I bought other stuff packs after trying to download them and they have worked. It is just these three. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled EA and the game, restarted the app, restarted my laptop, probably more stuff I don’t even remember. i tried contacting EA Support twice, they are useless. Neither case got resolved and I’m currently trying to contact them again. I paid for those extra content packs and can’t even play with them. Also it’s not a space issue on my MAC, I’ve already checked.236Views0likes25CommentsSims 4 DLC from Steam or Epic Greyed Out on EA app for Mac (Worked on Origin)
