BF6 / BFV BSOD – eaanticheat.sys crash (AV_eaanticheat)
Both Battlefield V and Battlefield 6 are crashing on my system with either BSOD or CTD. BF6 often fails during: *splash screen (“Starting EA Javelin AntiCheat”) *shader compilation *loading into match BFV is more stable but can also crash. Crash signature (consistent across many dumps): *MODULE_NAME: eaanticheat *IMAGE_NAME: eaanticheat.sys *FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_eaanticheat!unknown_function *Bugcheck: 0x1E / 0xA (varies) System: *Intel i5-14600K *RTX 4070 SUPER *MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI *Windows 11 (fully updated) What I've tried: *reinstalled EA AntiCheat *reinstalled BFV and BF6 *multiple NVIDIA driver versions (clean installs) *cleared shader / DirectX caches *SFC / DISM checks *memory Integrity tested on/off *PCIe Link State Power Management changed *fresh Windows install previously done Other games are stable. Stress tests (CPU/GPU/RAM) passes. The issue is, as far as I am aware, only present in EA titles using Javelin AntiCheat (BFV/BF6). Is this "eaanticheat.sys" (AV_eaanticheat!unknown_function) crash a known issue affecting some Intel 13th/14th gen + Z790/B760 systems?80Views2likes3CommentsIn-game Menu No Text bug

Haven't we all had enough of the endless orange dots in the game? Every mission, every firearm, every season pass level... Even if you patiently click each one to get rid of them, it doesn't matter. With just a minor hotfix update, they'll all be back. Please, great EA. Please, brilliant Dice. No one has ever asked you to set up these endless orange dots. Just add an option to let players disable all the orange dots with one click, okay? I don't mean to be impolite, but I'm really going crazy with these endless orange dots. It’s honestly unbelievable that we are now deep into Season 3 and many of the biggest Battlefield 6 issues are STILL here — some of them dating all the way back to Season 1 and even launch week. This is not about “small glitches” anymore. These are gameplay-breaking problems affecting gunfights, matchmaking, performance, networking, and overall game stability. The community has been reporting the same issues for months, yet every new update somehow introduces even more problems instead of fixing the old ones. Here’s what players are STILL experiencing in Season 3: Broken hit registration Delayed damage and desync Rubberbanding Packet burst feeling Random ping spikes Matchmaking putting players into high-latency servers Massive frame-time spikes and stuttering Inconsistent recoil and aiming responsiveness UI bugs that survive multiple patches Visual glitches making maps literally unplayable Ranked mode launching with known bugs And the worst part? A lot of players have perfectly stable internet, high FPS, strong PCs, and STILL get terrible gameplay quality because the issue is clearly server-side or netcode-related. Community reports repeatedly show that official servers feel dramatically worse than community-hosted experiences. Even EA Forum posts are filled with complaints about: broken HUD ping indicators, severe lag after the Season 3 update, FPS instability, missing UI elements, persistent unlock notifications, and visual bugs that completely blind players on certain maps. Meanwhile, DICE openly launched Ranked Battle Royale with a list of “known issues” already acknowledged on day one. The Battlefield community has supported this franchise for years because when Battlefield works, it’s one of the best FPS experiences on the market. But right now it feels like players are being used as beta testers every single season. How does a company the size of Electronic Arts and DICE still struggle with: basic server stability, functioning hit registration, proper matchmaking routing, and performance consistency months after launch? Players should not need VPNs, routing workarounds, FPS caps, or third-party fixes just to make the game feel playable. The community is tired of hearing: “We are investigating.” We want actual fixes. Season 3 should have been about improving the game. Instead, many players feel like the technical state is worse than before. Battlefield deserves better. And honestly, so do the players paying for it. (cm edit updated title for vis)Solved825Views9likes114CommentsWeird map focus behavior
Hi, So I just restarted to play BF6 and noticed a horrible glitch with the map specially when hovering squad team player or spawn points. The focus goes wild when changing the spawn location, It drives me nuts. For multiple times I spawned where I didn't want. Ofc it's nothing serious, per se, just annoying. Here's a video to better understand the problem. Thanks for your understanding,3Views0likes0CommentsCan't Aim Down Sights and every gun fires at semi-auto.
Encountered a bug today where no matter the map, mode, gun or class I can't aim down sights, and every gun only shoots one bullet per click of the mouse even if it is set to full auto. I tried restarted the game and verifying the game files and nothing has worked. I can aim down sights in the firing range, it just seems in an actual match that I can't. The issue persists across multiple servers and game restarts. I have attached a video of the issue from less than an hour ago.22Views2likes1CommentJoining Portal game does not cancel matchmaking
I queued for an Obliteration match, but it was taking a while so I perused Portal and joined a match in there. A few seconds after joining the portal match, I was removed and taken to an empty Obliteration server. Expected behaviour: cancel matchmaking when joining a portal game. https://vimeo.com/12022568683Views0likes0CommentsI've veen getting bluescreens for 4 days
I've been playing Battlefield 6 since launch with no issue. My PC is a fairly new but well tested rig and I've never had such an issue with this game or any other until now. i7 14700k MSI RTX 5070 12 GB ventus 3x OC Gigabyte z790 aorus master Kingston Fury beast ddr5 5600 mhz 2x32 GB WD black sn850x nvme ssd 4TB BF6 bought through Steam and installed on an external F drive (WD black 8 TB HDD) For about a week, I had been having issues where out of nowhere during a match my PC would suddenly go blue and reebot. I initially thought it could be the heat (I live in Madrid, Spain and it does get quite hot) but even with AC blasting and keeping tabs on CPU and GPU heat I figured out it was actually the EA anticheat. I will be adamant and crystal clear. I use no cheats or exploits, no weird software or apps. Nothing. I have no changed any significant setting on my PC since launch either. I tried following the reccomended steps to troubleshoot this: repaired/reinstalled the anticheat, repaired and then eventually uninstalled and reinstalled the game (twice now), I scanned my PC for corrupt files (nothing came up), I checked the anti-virus to see there was an exception made for it, checked the BIOS to see it was set on UEFI and secure boot, my VPN is obviously off whenever I want to play BF6, I uninstalled the EA app altogether since I got the game on Steam. I am at my wit's end. I haven't been able to play since saturday. I've lost whole afternoons on this. I'm of course also missing the temporary gane mode, the daily rewards, the challenges... I've been playing Battlefield for 18 years. I had never gone through such pains. What the hell.
