Enough is enough! Game unplayable for days – and CG/EA stays silent!
For over 3 days now, SWGoH has been completely unplayable on mobile and iOS – constant login errors, endless loops, and absolutely no fix or proper communication from the devs. Thousands of players are affected, and yet Capital Games continues to push out new characters like nothing is wrong. This is not just neglect — it's disrespect. We’ve spent years playing and a lot of money supporting this game, only to be treated like mindless wallets. No transparency, no updates, no accountability. Wake up, everyone! This is daylight robbery and a complete slap in the face to a loyal community. This is not a good day for Galaxy of Heroes. The Order 66 raid is probably one of the most insulting updates we have received. Rushing to implement lore inaccurate unit requirements to drive up profits with marquee characters will do significant damage to the player base. Sure a handful of diehard players who spend money on the new units will play due to buyers remorse and the sunk cost fallacy but it’s not worth it to disenfranchise the casual players who spend money and completely ruin the appeal for free to player players. I am in no way convinced this is good for the future of the game. Players who wanted to relive one of their favorite moments of the franchise have now been robbed of the opportunity. The raid should’ve been completely different. It should’ve been something like pick an Anakin and some clones and get different score modifiers depending on the units you used. Jedi Knight Anakin with any clones would be 0 multiplier. General Skywalker with 501st would be 1.5x/2x score modifier. Lord Vader with dark side clones would be 3x/4x score modifier. There could’ve also been a way to implement the raid so you either play as Vader raiding the temple or play as Jedi staving off his attack. We didn’t get that however. We received a roster of units that make no sense. We have Qui-Gon being eligible despite the fact that he was dust in the wind on Naboo. We have pirates who were never involved in raiding the temple from complete separate time periods far away from Coruscant. We have the bad batch units who were running from the Empire for years after order 66. This update is a disaster. It should not have been released. So little forethought went into this or it was done deliberately to **bleep** interest in the player base. this latest update is so bad that I just can’t find much pleasure in playing anymore. It took me a while to figure out why my Jabba squad did not get any rewards for dropping level 9…….. because I did not PURCHASE a pass to collect my loot!?! WTH is this! I have been pretty faithful since game release, and if memory serves, it was right around this time of year. This game has evolved so dramatically to the point where you have to spend. I did in fact spend, not as much as some. This latest move though, to rope us into your store and force us to pay more, that has got to be the biggest **bleep** move this group has done since release, so it’s appropriate for me to say farewell at this full cycle of the anniversary of release. I want to start that I loved the Naboo raid at the start. It was a fun new puzzle to figure out. But several months on now I must say this is probably the single biggest chore in the game and I fully dread every week when the raid starts now. So the question I would like to ask folks is does anyone even still like this raid. Does anyone even remotely find it fun or engaging content to do every week? Visually it is great and then theme is spot on to the movie with the ground and space pieces so it is great in that aspect. I have 4 teams built: Gungans w/jar jar at r7. I have QA and bros at R5(still taking to R7) I have Lumi, Kit, KAM, Plo, Qui at R5 I have B2, Maul, Sidious, IG-100, droideka at R5 It literally take me 2-5 hours every week to remod and run multiple attempts becasue of the crap rng or the stupid healing is just crazy strong and if you can't nuke a char in a single turn it will just be full healed and that just means you have wasted valuable enrage and time. I am sick of it. I have played 2 accounts for over 3 years and I would regular spend on both(not kraken or whale but conquest passes and crystal packs). I have fully quit my second account about a month ago because the raid is too much effort and time to spend every week. The only positive I see from this raid is that gungan omi lets me press auto but even that isn't a sure thing and sometimes have to restart it over because of droideka shield crap. One of my biggest issues is that from the very basics of the raid design it is built as a giant F U to the player base. Not only is every tier gated behind gear requirements forcing you to bring up relics. Even after you hit that gear you have stupid high mod checks after that too. I'll admit I don't care much for mods so don't invest much in them but even after bringing a full team to R5 which is a big investment if you don't have really good mods then you are not clearing or max score. The double whammy of reqs is a slap in the face from CG. One or the other, either make me gear or put crazy mod checks but to add both and then still have a lot of RNG is just bad and it makes me not want to engage with the game nearly as much. especially when you add in having to deal with conquest being an absolute chore and slog to get through it really adds up to hurting the game experience. Why is one attempt with my Lumi squad hit enrage in wave 4-5 but then other times I hit max score with only 80% enrage. That is far too much of a swing when using the same mods and overall strategy. LOTR HOME had the exact same issue, I loved the raid at first it was great fun with unique phases but then there was so much rng that I was spending hours and hours retrying for that perfect RNG that I just quit playing(funny enough a week before the closure announcement because week over week there wasn't any real improvement. If you kept gearing you could bump up a tier maybe but then it was still just an RNG fest and there was never a feeling of improvement because extra gear just resulted in the same phase but bigger numbers and still RNG. First I will address that CG hit the mark with the dark side clone troopers and tarkin rework, the new mace windu seems fine, athough the event is boring, and Ayla's rework was alright. All they needed to do was to keep on theme with the 20th aniversary of revenge of the Sith. Just that. There are tags that need attention, teams that are still unfinished, keeping the revengo of the sith theme, the separatist fleet still isn't complete. Trench's team still need to fight over Maul for Jango Fett without a dedicated separatist tank. The older galactic republic Jedi need some sort of rework, even if it means changing their lead ability to a unique ability, since nobody uses thm as leaders. Why is GMY only imune to shock as a leader? this should be a unique ability. Its sad how such an Iconic characher as Yoda is so weak compared to other characters that don't have the same importance. But most of all, during the raid themed after the movie, the two main protagonists are left behind. there are tons of characters that SHOULD be part of this Raid roster, and yet, CCG is forcing this pirate crap down out throats. It is disrespectful, distasteful and frustrating to have a team of people so driven by greed that the fanbase is left ist the game in this state. Stop making new tags that nobody asked to and Finish the ones already in the game. Both characters and fleets need to be finished and the older characters need to be reworked, the characters that noboby use as leaders should, at least, have their leader abilities converted to unique abilities, Like Plo koon, Ima gun DI, Kit fisto, Cody. We have far more than 200 characters now. Not everyone wants to use HU for mod management. Crosshair receives a -200% Accuracy penalty due to 20 stacks of the Shaken debuff. The R9 tier of the raid states that Bad Batch allies gain +100% accuracy based on the assumption that the raid difficulty tags build onto each other, as shown below in the code: Modify Accuracy by 20%, 20% and 60% = +100% accuracy. This puts Crosshair at 100% - 100% = 0% accuracy. It's in my Head, Crosshair's unique, states that when targeting an enemy who has marked_debuff Crosshair gains 100% accuracy when attacking, and the locked mark from the R9 bonus is correctly treated as marked_debuff. 100 + 100% = 200%, which should overcome the penalty Crosshair receives and as such all attacks should land outside of enemy evasion clauses, which they do not have. Using Fatal's footage from the R9 tier, you can see that Crosshair is not consistently landing. I believe either the stacking Accuracy is not applying correctly and that Crosshair is only getting 60% accuracy from the raid bonuses, or Crosshair is not correctly gaining 100% accuracy from attacking a marked target. Summery: add a feature that allows a player to “sim” the raid for 80% of their top score. Or maybe they need to hit the score a set number of times to have the sim option going forward. (3-5 is reasonable). This will still require players to invest in the raid, maybe even more incentive to invest more without demanding more time. It’s something like this or change the raid mechanics completely. The raid is creating a situation for many long time players who would otherwise be happy with SWGOH. It’s requiring too much time in a game that is already requiring too much time from people. Losing players who spend money and dedicated time to the game can’t be good for business… No matter how many hours you see people “interacting” with the new raid. As a Guild Leader and discord server owner for my community, I’m seeing the impacts of the raid time requirements on guild to guild level. CG, help us out here. As a 600mil guild, we are going to keep losing players and buddies who have been playing for years due to the nearly unreasonable amount of time the game is requiring, without there being any option to reduce that time (without penalty). SWGOH is a speeding train for competitive players, if you step off the train, even for a short time, it leaves you behind in an almost unrecoverable way.
