2 MUCH TIME!
This game consumes 2 much time. I like to play it but I have already left it once for a 18 month brake. I really hate it when DEVS do not take into consideration this problem. Like they work to help new people advance and get into the game but do nothing to help the vast majority to stay and not leave because of burn out. There are so many things you can do. Like for ex: All events that we have 3 starred should be simmable! ALL! All Tb battles that we have 3 starred once, should be simmable. Granted this needs a bit of touching, like maybe choose a team to use and then sim it and block that team for further use in that phase etc. I donno, there should be solutions and you should work on finding them. NEXT!!! A GENERAL RESET MODS REPLACEMENT: like a general save of all the mods you have placed on all the characters, that can be reset with a touch of a button for the X amount of gold. This can be like a default mode status that we can easily come back to, after messing around with the mods for the raid, or TW/TB, different events, etc. The replacement of every mode back where it was is such a waste of time. Also get that 200 mods barrier up already. Is such a long requested feature. Listen I have very few hopes for any of this happening, but the bottom line is this: either you start doing some major changes to Q.O.T. I want to start that I loved the Naboo raid at the start. It was a fun new puzzle to figure out. But several months on now I must say this is probably the single biggest chore in the game and I fully dread every week when the raid starts now. So the question I would like to ask folks is does anyone even still like this raid. Does anyone even remotely find it fun or engaging content to do every week? Visually it is great and then theme is spot on to the movie with the ground and space pieces so it is great in that aspect. I have 4 teams built: Gungans w/jar jar at r7. I have QA and bros at R5(still taking to R7) I have Lumi, Kit, KAM, Plo, Qui at R5 I have B2, Maul, Sidious, IG-100, droideka at R5 It literally take me 2-5 hours every week to remod and run multiple attempts becasue of the crap rng or the stupid healing is just crazy strong and if you can't nuke a char in a single turn it will just be full healed and that just means you have wasted valuable enrage and time. I am sick of it. I have played 2 accounts for over 3 years and I would regular spend on both(not kraken or whale but conquest passes and crystal packs). I have fully quit my second account about a month ago because the raid is too much effort and time to spend every week. The only positive I see from this raid is that gungan omi lets me press auto but even that isn't a sure thing and sometimes have to restart it over because of droideka shield crap. One of my biggest issues is that from the very basics of the raid design it is built as a giant F U to the player base. Not only is every tier gated behind gear requirements forcing you to bring up relics. Even after you hit that gear you have stupid high mod checks after that too. I'll admit I don't care much for mods so don't invest much in them but even after bringing a full team to R5 which is a big investment if you don't have really good mods then you are not clearing or max score. The double whammy of reqs is a slap in the face from CG. One or the other, either make me gear or put crazy mod checks but to add both and then still have a lot of RNG is just bad and it makes me not want to engage with the game nearly as much. especially when you add in having to deal with conquest being an absolute chore and slog to get through it really adds up to hurting the game experience. Why is one attempt with my Lumi squad hit enrage in wave 4-5 but then other times I hit max score with only 80% enrage. That is far too much of a swing when using the same mods and overall strategy. LOTR HOME had the exact same issue, I loved the raid at first it was great fun with unique phases but then there was so much rng that I was spending hours and hours retrying for that perfect RNG that I just quit playing(funny enough a week before the closure announcement because week over week there wasn't any real improvement. If you kept gearing you could bump up a tier maybe but then it was still just an RNG fest and there was never a feeling of improvement because extra gear just resulted in the same phase but bigger numbers and still RNG. Summery: add a feature that allows a player to “sim” the raid for 80% of their top score. Or maybe they need to hit the score a set number of times to have the sim option going forward. (3-5 is reasonable). This will still require players to invest in the raid, maybe even more incentive to invest more without demanding more time. It’s something like this or change the raid mechanics completely. The raid is creating a situation for many long time players who would otherwise be happy with SWGOH. It’s requiring too much time in a game that is already requiring too much time from people. Losing players who spend money and dedicated time to the game can’t be good for business… No matter how many hours you see people “interacting” with the new raid. As a Guild Leader and discord server owner for my community, I’m seeing the impacts of the raid time requirements on guild to guild level. CG, help us out here. As a 600mil guild, we are going to keep losing players and buddies who have been playing for years due to the nearly unreasonable amount of time the game is requiring, without there being any option to reduce that time (without penalty). SWGOH is a speeding train for competitive players, if you step off the train, even for a short time, it leaves you behind in an almost unrecoverable way. Hello Darth CG and fellow Holotable Heroes, For the lucky few who took JC up to high relics for ROTE ops, we were very excited to use those Ops Jedi for this raid. Unfortunately, they are little better than filler (Eeth and JC). Bummer. The faction bonus for GR is great for the raid, but unfortunately again... there was a swing and a miss, JC lead GR jedi have no way of applying heal over time to capitalize on the bonus true damage if you are already using a Lumi and Kit Jedi team separately - which almost everyone is. My suggestion - tweak JCs kit to include passive HOT with a unique or to buff HOT with both or one of his specials. This will bring more use to the raid toons and allow for more enjoyment in an already rigid event that has a frustrating amount of RNG associated with it. This would at least give us the Pot Up from the fleet bonus that grants locked buffs. BUT if you were feeling froggy and wanting to extend a gesture of good faith to the player base, add both Pot up and HOT to JCs kit in some way. Rooting for you guys to make some quality of life updates for this raid. Still holding out hope. At the end of 2022 CG announced the Krayt Dragon raid and the new age of raids in SWGoH began. Each raid has 9 month of relevancy then they go to dust and are never seen again, which is a shame in my opinion, mainly because any investment you had in that raid also goes with it. The biggest problem with that is that these raids asks for really trash tier characters and raid omicrons as well, and these are become completely useless after that raids 9 month expires. Next year we gonna get the 4th new raid. Based on where is game is progressing or what's hapenning in SW in real life people can only guess whats the next raid is gonna be about. My guesses are that with the new GL Ahsoka and potentially GL Thrawn, we might get some sort of Peridia raid, based on the Ahsoka show, or Force Awakens is gonna have it's 10 year anniversary, so some sort if sequel content and raid for next year can also be possible. With that 4th raid next year I think it would be the perfect time to introduce the raid rotations. Just for the explonation I'm gonna use only 3 raids. So your guilds starts the Naboo raid, 3 days, it's done everyone gets their rewards, then the game locks the raid. The next time your guild starts a raid, the Naboo raid is locked, you can only choose the Endor or Krayt raid. Let's just say your guild does the Endor raid. 3 days, it's done, everyone gets their reward, this raid is also locked now. The next time your guild starts a raid, can only choose the Krayt raid, and when that's done, every raid is unlocked and this cycle starts again, in any order your guilds chooses to do so. Obviously the current reward system would be applied to every raid, so everyone could get the mk3 material as well. It would be the perfect way to respect everyones investment in the raids and not just the Omicrons but also the high relics that people do for trash characters. The players would feel safer to invest to the raids, knowing that any relic or omicrons that they spent on the raids would be useful until the game is around. Whenever you go to auto now it only lets you do auto basic attacks because of an interface glitch on mobile devices. This wouldn’t be a huge issue if there were more sim options available… but trying to force us to manual all the ROTE missions and the new raid is absurd and a complete waste of time. will this glitch be fixed for mobile devices?168Views3likes2CommentsNaboo raid portraits
Can you please change the portrait of the b1 commander droid to be easily distinguishable in the turn order graphic? Have him mirrored, so his head tilts the other way, or something? I cannot see the difference in my phone. I guess he's got a slightly more yellow head top plate than the rest, but I just cannot see it. Deciding if I want to use Plo Koon's aoe, or yoda's spread buff move (as a couple of examples) is just a guessing game at the moment, or a test of memory and keeping my eyes glued to the commander to see if it take a turn (or was that an assist?).
