No account problem
The account was working fine and I left it for a short period of time, but now when I open EA I don't see the account and when I changed the password the account returned as it was new without any games being charged, knowing that I was charging FIFA 24I have pictures of the purchases and the emails sent.How to uninstall Origin on windows 8.1
PC specifications: Desktop OS: Windows 8.1 Hard disks: Local Disk (C:) New Volume (E:) Processor: intel i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70 Ghz RAM: 16GB x64 based processor Graphics card: MSI Nvidia GTX 1660 Super Not sure is this the right place to ask, I haven't tried starting Origin on my Windows 8.1 PC since Origin for Windows was discontinued in October 2022. I have only one game that I purchased and installed using Origin (Star Wars Battlefront II (2017)). I need to uninstall Origin and Star Wars Battlefront II on this PC to free up disk space. If it is not possible to log in to Origin anymore to view your games library, would clicking "OriginUninstall.exe" under New Volume (E:) > Program Files (x86) > Origin uninstall the Origin client together with Star Wars Battlefront II as well or does star wars need to be uninstalled separately before uninstalling the Origin client? If they need to be uninstalled separately: -How do I uninstall Star Wars Battlefront II without launching Origin? -Do I need to uninstall Star Wars Battlefront II first or uninstall the Origin client first?
I couldn't enter the time for 17 days, please help
For 17 days I can't access the account because of the verification message from my account, and I didn't receive the verification code on the email or phone number in my FC25 account. It seems to me that I tried several times, try later. 4 people from the company were contacted and I did not reach a solution. They sent me a secondary email. Unfortunately, the problem is still unsolved. Please respond and resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you.
When will EA Sports Big come back?
It’s so ridiculous that we are 20 years without a new NBA and NFL Street, Def Jam or SSX, the sports gaming genre is so bad now that we’ll take anything that isn’t the standard NBA2K or Madden yearly release. For the love of god EA please do something a remaster or just bring back the ea sports big label and make sports gaming fun again, there has to be some talks about the label or the games like street, def jam, ssx etc coming back or being remastered right?Origin servers inaccessible
Apparently the Origin servers are down (5 Apr 2025 - 09:00 EDT). =/ I've been playing The Sims 4 using Origin for the past week or so with absolutely NO problems. This morning, I was playing in offline mode, and the game crashed hard - I had to reboot my Mac. After rebooting, I relaunched The Sims, and Origin displayed an error message: Origin servers temporarily unavailable Apologies for the inconvenience, we're currently unable to retrieve your list of games. Please reload and try again. I was hoping to be able to play until the 17th when Origin shuts down for good. It's disappointing that it's ending like this - I've been playing the Sims on my Mac since it came out in 2000, and have spent a LOT of money on DLC/Expansions over the years. It's absolutely ridiculous that The Sims runs flawlessly on my machine, but the EA app won't run because I use High Sierra... and now it appears that Origin has shut down 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Oh well - 25 years was a good run.
Origin not working...
I still use Origin on my mac, because I don't have the new iOS to support the EA app. My issue is that Origin is stuck on the "Connecting to Origin..."-window, and it won't open, no matter how long I leave it loading for. I've tried to un- and reinstall Origin, shut down my mac, Troubleshooter... Nothing is working. My wifi is fine, I don't know what to do, I just want to play Sims!!! Please help me:(((
EA/Origin charging me $$ no opt out even with rep
[I can provide documentation of all statements below] I haven't used EA games since August 2023. I was notified by my bank [BOA] that there was a $39.99 charge from EA/Origin. "PURCHASE 03/08 EA *ORIGIN.COM HELP.EA.COM CA " I promptly contacted EA/Origin to opt out. I was told it was a "Steam" issue. It is not, I have documentation from Steam verifying that fact. EA/Origin is firm saying they did not charge me [see bank quotes above] and I have the chat transcript to demonstrate their denial. I have filed fraud claims with my bank and the FCC [it is illegal NOT to provide an Opt Out option]. Anyone have similar problems? Resolved? I am going to be put in a position to close the BANK account so they don't hit me again. I cannot locate the charge on their website even though it processed through my bank. I will update this post after I upload all the documents with confidential data blocked to a web blog. EA does not have customer service.
Cannot delete EA PLAY PRO version of Titanfall 2 from Origin game library
My EA account has purchased Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition on Steam and Titanfall 2 Standard Edition on EA (as shown in Attachment1), and I am also a member of EA PLAY PRO. When I installed Titanfall 2 from Steam, the Origin client automatically upgraded the EA Titanfall 2 Standard Edition to Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition. When I selected the Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition icon on EA, I right-clicked it and there was an option to delete it from the game library (as shown in Attachment2). After clicking it, a dialogue option to delete only this game from the game library appeared (as shown in Attachment3). Following the prompts, the EA Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition should be deleted from my game library, but nothing happened. Is this a bug in the program? Or is it supposed to be this way?
Can't open EA app or Origin on macOS
I get the following messages when I try to open Origin to access the Sims 4: Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please repair or reinstall the game via Origin. [85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:00000000] I can't access the games at all on my macOS without Origin and I can't download the EA app because it won't run on macOS Sequoia and Origin won't run on macOS Sequoia. So, I have no access to the games that I paid for and EA hasn't ensured that all Sims 4 users will or can have access despite the planned changeover from Origin.
My origin won't open and I don't know what to do.
For contact I have a MacBook Air Mojave version 10.14.6. Every time I try to open Origin to play the sims it gets stuck on the small rectangle loading screen. I've tried to download the restarter, but when I go to click on the link from an EA help page it says "Access denied". I've cleared my browser cache and restarted my laptop, Ive tried to repair it, and force quit. But I can't update my laptop because I don't have enough storage. nor can I download the EA app. Im currently trying to get an actual gaming laptop. But even if I do I don't know how to access my packs and stuff and switch it over to my new laptop, or onto the EA app. I don't wanna lose them and have it be a waste of time and money someone please help me.
Origin stopped working before close date
Hi all! I am hoping someone could help me with the Origin app, because EA Support is not sure what to do. The Origin app is set to stop working on Mac in April this year. I have an older model computer, so am unable to download the EA app. For some reason though, the Origin app has stopped working as well. The app will open but the pop-up will just say "Connecting to Origin" for hours. I tried to use the "Reset Origin" tool, but it keeps saying access denied. Has anyone had this issue? I'd appreciate any and all help!
