BF2042. I can not log into the game
When I try to enter a match, it finds me, then there's a black screen and I'm thrown out into the lobby. But at the same time, other modes are loading. Can you help me to fix it? Is there any way i could reset my account?
Progression is fun, and i know there is not going to be any atemps in inplementing any "Prestige" to encourage people to do everything all again. so, any way i could like, ask someone in EA to do a acount reset? (i have killed so many bots, my name is full of shame)
Battlefield Online Needs More Vehicle Freedom Hi everyone
Battlefield6 Online – More Freedom & Better Settings for Everyone Hi everyone, I want to share an idea that I think many players in Battlefield 2042 Online will understand and possibly agree with. Right now, vehicle gameplay and settings feel a bit limited and complicated for many players. 🚁 Vehicle freedom idea: I think Battlefield Online would be much more fun if vehicles were more accessible and free for everyone, similar to Grand Theft Auto Online: * Free access to helicopters * Free access to jets * Free access to tanks * Less waiting time for vehicles * More freedom for all players to practice and enjoy vehicle combat Vehicle gameplay is one of the most exciting parts of Battlefield, and more freedom would help a lot of players improve and enjoy it more. ⸻ 🎯 Settings improvement idea: I also think the game settings could be improved to be simpler and more useful: * Option for a straight/stable crosshair that does not move upward * Cleaner settings layout for different gameplay styles * Better separation of settings so it’s easier to understand (infantry, vehicles, etc.) The idea is to make the game more organized and easier for everyone, not more confusing. ⸻ 💬 Final thought: I think these changes would make the game feel more: * Fair * Fun * Accessible * And enjoyable for all types of players What do you think? The map takes place somewhere in Sweden, featuring a large natural area and several automated "mega-factories" producing weapons and tools by a company named "Nordvik". "You may know Nordvik weapons. Perhaps you have one waiting in your locker right now. Their claims of being a neutral party are false. We've discovered that they are the primary artillery provider for the American offensive. Reconnaissance has narrowed down the location of the Nordvik factory to a remote Scandanavian [sic] mountain. But U.S. forces know we are coming. Dress for the cold. Bring back 64-player Conquest & Close Quarters Conquest in BF2042
128-player Conquest is too chaotic：Too many players, vehicles, and overcrowded objectives ruin the classic Battlefield infantry/vehicle balance. Many players, including me, prefer the tactical, focused 64-player experience that BF2042 previously offered. Close Quarters Conquest was extremely popular：It provided fast-paced, intense infantry combat on smaller maps, which was a fan favorite and filled a key niche in the game. Removing it reduced variety and player engagement. Community demand is clear：Countless players have requested these modes return across forums, social media, and in-game feedback. Restoring them will improve player retention, satisfaction, and overall enjoyment. Please add 64-player Conquest and Close Quarters Conquest as permanent, official quick-play options (not just Portal or limited-time). This will make BF2042 feel complete and true to the Battlefield legacy.
Please add a map filter for official match maker
For more than 15 minutes now .. i need to cancel Conquest Stadium and Breakthrough Havana, as these are the worst COD maps in BF2042 and no one likes to play them .. Please add for at least a map filter and return any other BF2042 QoL features which were removed before CODField'6 launch !! People say as map borwser returns for BF6, add that to BF2042, too !! I cannot cancel the match maker for an hour and i will never join Stadium or Havana ..[BF2042][Official Conquest] Received a magazine as in BF Hardline
It was an awesome surprise to me: On Casipan Border Conquest, while reloading my M16A3 with PB Heavy Suppressor attached, my Blasco received a magazine as in BF Hardline. Look as someone was throwing a mag to me, i catched it and reloaded the weapon. Sadly this surprisingly event was too quick to take a screenshot. Great stuff. Please add (and please re-add) more QoL into BF2042 :)
Season Replay
I don't believe relegating 2042 to a maintenance mode is good for the franchise. In fact, by not making new content or updates and legit support, you're telling players (customers) that the content, features and support have a clock on them. The idea is newly release content after launch and the rewards of seasons and modes being unavailable when they end is to drive player numbers for fear of missing out. I get that. I would argue players deserve to play on their time after spending the same amount of money on a game someone with twice the time and frequency to play. Therefore, I feel its only right all who purchase the game, for full launch price or $7 (the price 2 weeks after my full purchase), have a right to earn the same rewards for the game as all the seasons we never got to play. I want the player cards, the skins, the tags and all the rest. When I bought the game my ISP was awful and online play was hardly an option. I could play solo/co-op with some issues but minimal compared to official servers and modes. Not only can we not claim any of the content others were able to receive under better circumstances or just time to actually play, but everything in the store is all the same price as it has always been which is a bit strange considering the value now without the seasons, without the promise of new content, without the game support, and without the player numbers or the cost of the game never going over 25% of the release price. I strongly feel if devs can give us FNB and weekend and weekly modes aside from the standards, a replay of all the seasons is warranted. 2042 still has a loyal base of players, many of which have played 6 and aren't fans. 6 feels like all our wants and desires were mostly ignored or the loudest and smallest group got what they wanted but that's another topic. How hard would it be to replay and cycle the seasons of 2042 for all the content be really? It can't hurt player numbers in 6, in fact it only helps. Not in real time as the seasons but in player enthusiasm towards the franchise. I cannot purchase or play BF6 knowing the game will eventually go to maintenance mode and have little to no support or new content. Using 2042 as a platform to test enthusiasm would be one of the smartest moves EA/Dice could make after restructuring of its teams. Lets start BF2042 season 1 before May please.BF2042 infested by cheaters /EU
Its difficult to find a lobby without cheaters in when playing in EU /Scandinavia. In most of the rounds there are players who (1) kill everyone with one shot, ( or 2 ) without even pointing with gun or (3) from dead angles. They also sometimes dont register any hits themselves. Reporting them does not do anything. We all know EA / Dice does not care about gaming community. I wonder is same **bleep** ongoing in other areas too? Do they think we are going to buy BF6 after all this?EA banned me for nothing, ignored me for more than a month, closed my case
I’m honestly done with EA after this. I got banned from Battlefield 2042 for absolutely no reason. No cheats, no software, nothing. I literally left the game open in the lobby, went away, came back — banned. So I opened an appeal the next day. EA says they reply within 24–48 hours. Reality? More than ONE MONTH. I waited over a month for a response. And what did I get after all that waiting? No explanation No proof No details Just a generic copy-paste message And then they closed the case. Now here’s the worst part: Today is March 29 — and I STILL have no real answer. The case is closed, and no one has explained anything. Timeline: Feb 19 — banned Feb 20 — appeal opened March 18 — useless generic reply after MORE THAN A MONTH March 29 — still nothing, case closed So basically: Ban a legit player Ignore him for more than a month Send a useless reply Close the case Refuse to explain anything How is this acceptable? If your anti-cheat actually works, show proof. If you made a mistake, fix it. But this? This just looks like a broken system and support that doesn’t care. I don’t even care about the game anymore at this point. I just want people to see how bad this experience was. Anyone else had something like this happen with EA? Having the option to have weapons and vehicles from different eras would be a breeding ground for creative experiences (Especially because vehicles from different eras are fun, but they end up feeling off when people are used to the core mechanics from BF2042) Thanks for the update and the new additions But portal and hazard zone are also part of the game and need to have some kind of support. i know you guys are planing on releasing a new battlefield each year from now on but you have to take care of your fan-base. happy players are more likely going to spend money on a product that they feel is good. please let us look at portal and say "damm thats cool". xoxoJust stop
We don't care about Control, Frontlines or even Rush though its the most tolerable. Just stop with the weekend, weekly or FNB modes nobody gives a **bleep** about. Breakthrough and Conquest (though I hate). That's it. Stop taking players from useless modes away from the ones we play and making it impossible in some regions to even get a match started with minimum players by dispersing what we have even more. Don't even get me started on matchmaking and splitting regions into multiple quarter filled servers instead of fewer fuller ones. That's all. Needed to vent. Thumbs up or like or whatever so EA pays a tiny bit of attention. No wonder they're "restructuring".

Hello you filthy animals. starting to see the same bunch of killers on my tours of 2042. still think 2042 has got the best platform for carnage potential, and ill slide into my warchief way before i **bleep** a load up for bf6 arcade fest. anyway.. just a post for fellow diehards to state their call sign and usual l server . maybe ill link up in game for some wholesome gang **bleep**. sorry if my cockpit smells of weed.
