EA Javelin AntiCheat repeatedly crashes with identical NX fault / 0xC0000005
College Football 27 repeatedly fails to launch because EA Javelin AntiCheat itself crashes. I have reproduced the issue multiple times and analyzed multiple EA AntiCheat crash dumps with WinDbg. Dumps from different occurrences, including crashes associated with different Javelin ExitType values, show the same underlying crash signature. WinDbg results: PROCESS_NAME: eaanticheat.gameservice.exe ExceptionCode: 0xC0000005 (Access violation) AV.Type: Execute Failure.ProblemClass.Primary: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_INVALID_POINTER_EXECUTE_CODE_c0000005_eaanticheat.gameservice.exe!Unknown FAILURE_ID_HASH: {f7ba0e7a-9506-f204-e4ac-0e81e86df068} WinDbg reports: Attempt to execute non-executable address On the latest dump, inspecting the faulting address with !address shows that the address belongs to eaanticheat.gameservice.exe itself, but the affected mapped image region is PAGE_NOACCESS at the time of the crash. I also analyzed an older dump associated with previous launch failures. Despite running a different EA AntiCheat build, it produces the same Failure Bucket, the same 0xC0000005 execute violation, the same SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT classification, and exactly the same Failure ID Hash. EA AntiCheat versions observed in the analyzed dumps: 1.0.27607.0 1.0.64026.0 Windows system integrity has been checked and currently reports no integrity violations. The game occasionally launches successfully between failures, but the Javelin crash subsequently returns. Please escalate this as an EA Javelin AntiCheat crash rather than providing generic game or EA App troubleshooting. I can provide the original DMP files and complete WinDbg output if required. Please investigate Failure ID Hash: {f7ba0e7a-9506-f204-e4ac-0e81e86df068} and the repeated NX execute fault inside eaanticheat.gameservice.exe.SolvedBalazs5723 days agoSeasoned Novice512Views3likes35CommentsTeam Builder website slot permanently lost after deleting Error 400 team
I received Error 400 when saving a created team on the College Football 27 Team Builder website. After standard troubleshooting failed, I deleted the affected team. The team disappeared, but the website creation slot was not restored and now returns Error 400 when I attempt to use it. This is a website-only Team Builder problem, not a downloaded-team or console issue. The same problem occurred on my account last year, and that creation slot was never restored. Please investigate and clear the orphaned Team Builder records associated with my EA account.Solveddtjb2171 month agoRising Novice25Views0likes1CommentPC Crash with certain home teams — fixed by "Verify Integrity"
Thought I would post this in case someone else had the same issue: Platform: PC (Steam) Mode: [Play Now] Frequency before fix: 100% reproducible Issue: The game crashed every time I loaded into a match with Boise State or BYU as the home team. Any other home team loaded fine, and both teams worked normally as the away team — which pointed at the stadium assets rather than general instability. Repro steps: Start a game with Boise State as the home team Crash during the load into the game Repeat with BYU as home team — same crash Same two teams as the away team — loads normally Resolution: Steam → CFB 27 → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. It reported "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." After the re-download, both matchups load without issue.SolvedTheNapalma1 month agoRising Newcomer25Views1like1CommentHas the error 400 bug been address yet?
Everytime i go to edit any of my teams in teambuilder i am getting an error 400 message on teams that have been submitted and saved just fine in the past. i can not edit any of my 32 team builder teams due to this error. none of them use special characters and none have been flagged for anything. is this issue being actively worked or is it just another thing EA is putting on the backburner when it comes to team builder?Solvedathrun11 month agoSeasoned Newcomer9Views0likes1CommentCFB27 crash (0xC0000409) + missing from account library and anticheat list
Previous thread: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/college-football-27-technical-issues-en/game-wont-boot-on-steam-since-last-update/13580051 --- SUMMARY --- College Football 27 on PC will not launch. It gets through the EA Javelin anti-cheat load, then closes immediately. This has been ongoing for several weeks despite extensive troubleshooting listed below. --- CORE SYMPTOMS --- - Game launches, anti-cheat loads, then the process closes with no visible error. - Windows Event Viewer shows: "collegefb27.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000409" every time, timed right at the anti-cheat load stage. - Occasionally (roughly 1 in 10 attempts), I'm prompted to log into Origin during launch (screenshot attached). When I complete that login, the game launches successfully. If I close it and immediately reopen, it fails again the same way, with no new login prompt. - Have also seen a "computer is offline" message pop up right after signing in, despite having a normal, stable internet connection. --- NEW EVIDENCE (not in original thread) --- 1. On EA's own account/game library page, College Football 27 does not show an "Owned" badge, while every other EA game I own does show it (screenshot attached). I have purchased and previously played CFB27. 2. Running EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe manually shows other EA titles (Madden, FC, Battlefield) in its game dropdown list, but College Football 27 does not appear as an option at all, despite being fully installed. Both of these point toward an account/entitlement registration issue on EA's side rather than a local PC problem. --- BACKGROUND CONTEXT --- Before this started, I had mods installed via Frosty Mod Manager. After a game update, the game began failing to launch. I fully removed all mods, unpatched via Frosty, and deleted leftover mod-related files (including a stray "datapath.old" file) before doing any of the troubleshooting below, to rule modding out as the cause. --- FULL LIST OF TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY COMPLETED --- - Fully removed all mods and unpatched via Frosty Mod Manager (not just disabled) - Deleted leftover datapath file from prior modding - Verified game file integrity (Steam) - Full uninstall and reinstall of the game via EA App - Manually ran EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe (CFB27 not listed as an available game, see above) - Confirmed Secure Boot is enabled and TPM 2.0 is active in BIOS - Confirmed Windows is not in Test Mode (checked via bcdedit, no testsigning entry present) - Confirmed via Settings that I am not enrolled in the Windows Insider Program - Installed the latest available Windows update (2026-07 Update, KB5121767) anyway, no change - DxDiag reviewed line by line: no mention anywhere of "Insider," "Preview," "Canary," "Dev Channel," or "Beta Channel." OS Build Version shows 10.0.26100.8875 (26200.8875), which is the expected dual-numbering format for a 25H2 enablement package on a 24H2 base, not evidence of a non-retail build (full DxDiag attached) - Confirmed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributables (x64 and x86) are already installed and current (v14.51.36247.0), so the "missing redistributable" prompt from one troubleshooting tool was a false positive - Closed all overlay, RGB/lighting, and OC monitoring software before launch attempts - Tried launching via Steam directly, via the EA App directly, and via Frosty, same failure pattern regardless of launcher - Checked Windows Event Viewer (Application log) and found the exit code 0xC0000409 entry described above --- ATTACHMENTS --- - DxDiag report - Screenshot: EA account library showing CFB27 without "Owned" badge while other titles show it - Screenshot: Origin sign-in prompt that appears during the intermittent successful launch pattern described above - Screenshot: Windows Update / Insider Program status showing not enrolled Given the amount of local troubleshooting already completed and ruled out, I'd really appreciate this being looked at from the account/entitlement side rather than repeating basic PC troubleshooting steps. Happy to provide any additional logs or details needed. Thank you.SolvedPC Launch Crash – Instant Crash Before Main Menu (Steam)

Additional Information EA Sports FC 26 runs perfectly on this same PC using the same Steam account, EA account, Windows installation, drivers, and hardware. This issue appears isolated to College Football 27. Request Could someone from the PC engineering team review this crash? Specifically: - Is GetDenuvoTimeTicketRequest a known startup crash? - Is there a known Steam entitlement or activation issue? - Is the access violation inside the activation path a known bug? I have multiple crash dumps, WinDbg analysis, and a launch video available if needed. I also reinstall the C++ files that are needed.. However when proceeding to the National Signing Day screen my only options are “upgrade player” and “position changes”. Hello! I am having some issues regarding loading times and assets popping in. Whenever I go to play-now or dynasty to play a game, the loading times are slower than they should be. For instance, when I select a team to play as, the little player does not show up for like 10 seconds, and when I do hit Ready and load into the game, it usually takes a minute and a half to even get into the game! Then, when I do load into the game, the assets usually pop in after a few seconds, but then the game runs totally normal and smoothly during gameplay. I have tried clearing the cache, reinstalling, and turning graphics down, and nothing has worked! I am just looking for any solution anyone has because I cannot seem to fix it on my own or get a hold of an EA person to help me in any way. I will put my specs below as well but I recently upgraded my graphics card and all my drivers, so I am stumped. Any help is appreciated! NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (8 GB), 32.0 GB of RAM 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz (3.60 GHz) I have the game through EA App as well.SolvedMrroboto999751 month agoSeasoned Newcomer48Views0likes2CommentsCrashing before halftime with no error code
Has anyone found a fix for constant crashing on PC? Ever since I bought College Football 27, I have not been able to complete a single full game. Almost every time I play, the game crashes before I can even reach halftime. The game just closes completely with no error code, crash report, or any indication of what caused it. I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps: Uninstalled and reinstalled the game Verified game files through Steam Updated GPU drivers Checked Windows updates Tried adjusting graphics settings Nothing has fixed the issue so far. My PC specs: GPU: RTX 4070 Super CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D RAM: 32GB Storage: 2TB SSD Platform: Steam My system should have no issues running this game, so I’m not sure if this is an optimization issue, driver conflict, or something else. Every other game runs fine, but this one consistently crashes. Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?
