Dragon Age 2 won't boot up.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but I've been playing DA 2 for 20 hours total so far and the game was running pretty well, then all of a sudden during a cutscene the game crashes on me. I've tried to boot the game back up but it gives me the same response of "the game won't launch, there's an issue on our end that won't let the game launch". I've tried nearly everything, from uninstalling and reinstalling the game, to restarting the EA app, to repairing the files itself and I'm getting no luck. I've contacted support and they've said they'll report this to the team but I want to know if there's anyone else who's suffering the same issues and if they managed to find a way to fix this.GreyWarden2212 hours agoNew Novice103Views1like7CommentsProblems launching Dragon Age Inquisition on Steam
Same. I've been able to play Inquisition through Steam for the past week or so with little issue and then all of a sudden earlier today, it just completely shuts down the game whenever I press "Continue" from the main menu. When I checked the EA App, it told me that there was a problem with the app itself and I've tried almost everything short of uninstalling the game.Xalthium14 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer97Views0likes4Comments[Keep] Oops and Error has occurred error on login
Hi, First sorry for my English, I can't edit, import or do anything with the Dragon Age Keep, I've already tried what I've found online (Tried another browser, deleting the cache, disabling addon in the browser, removing files in "temp") Nothing is working, but it is working with another account. For all the Dragon Age, I've played with mod, so maybe that's why it's not working.. And I think I've tried everything, so any help would be appreciate 🙂 Thanks !wyltswm16 hours agoRising Novice659Views0likes9CommentsEA Launcher canceling DA Game Launch
I was playing Dragon Age II when the game crashed. At, first I wasn’t too bothered as old games crash all the time, but now I’m concerned as the EA launcher won’t let the steam game launch initialize. I keep getting the error message that says “there seems to be a problem on our end” (EA Launch app) without specifying said problem. Now I’m just frustrated because I would like to play DA2 but I can’t even get into the game because of the launcher issues.SolvedIcarusTheKid_X5 days agoRising Newcomer142Views1like9Commentsbug that wont let me continue with mount

When I try to play Dragon Age: Origins, I keep getting an Invalid License error. I am the original purchaser of this game and have accessed it before, albeit not recently. The "Help" bot isn't helpful, and I can't find where I can ask an actual person. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions.ead3020720ef4e757 days agoRising Newcomer59Views0likes3Comments[Under Investigation] PC - Dragon Age II DLC Not Available to Download
It's one of those posts again! I got Dragon Age II years ago somehow (my old Origin app had an activation date of 2015 - apparently this was from the Humble Origin Bundle 2?), and I just noticed that I never got the DLCs that were given away, my copy of the game says it's the Standard Edition (see attached photos) and there is no way for me to get the missing DLCs without buying the game again. I just spent the past day trying to figure out what to do but nothing I found online seems to have worked. I have: Cleared my EA app cache, logged out and in again; Downloaded the free DLC add-ons from https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage/ and installed them (they show up as "Unauthorized" in the game); Logged in to the Dragon Age keep to unlock the content manually there; Logged in to my EA account via the game; Synced the accounts between the keep and my computer manually several times; Uninstalled and reinstalled the game; Deleted the contents of the licenses folder; Cleared all my characters at the Dragon Age keep. Nothing seems to work. The game insists that I have to buy it again to get the DLC content. So what can I do? Do I have to buy the game again?FoxhackDN9 days agoNew Traveler3.7KViews0likes121Comments[PC] Not Able To Start Dragon Age II DLC
I hope someone can help me becasue I'm at my wits end. After painstakingly downloading and authorizing my missing DLCs for da2, I finally got them working in my ‘downloadable content’ list. However, they’re not showing up in-game. No statues in my home or quests in my journal, nothing. I tried creating a new character, thinking that maybe, because I’m already at the end of act 1 the quests won’t show up. That unfortunately didn’t work either. I’ve tried repairing the game, nothing. Deleting and re-installing the game, nothing. Re-installing the game did gave me the message ‘This saved game cannot be loaded because the following downloadable content is not installed’. So, the game does recognise that I have the dlc’s installed. I just can’t seem to get them to actually work. After adding the dlc files again I’m still not getting the quests. If it helps, I added pictures of all the dlc’s being authorized and the ‘missing dlc’ after re-installing. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This whole process is just becoming incredibly frustrating.373Views0likes2CommentsDAI: Unable to Connect to EA Servers to Activate...
I have been dealing with this disaster for a week now. I just got a new gaming laptop and installed the EA app to play my games on it. Dragon Age: Inquisition will NOT load. When I let the process sit for 5-10 minutes, this window pops up: My only option is to exit. As you can see, there is no log-in option here. There never is. If I don't wait for this to pop up, I have to force-quit the DAI process (which does load), then end the ActivationUI process (which is the crux of the issue) in order to even close the EA App. I've been searching all over the internet (these forums, general searches, YouTube), and I have tried every single "fix" that I found. None of them have worked. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, deleted folders and licenses, I've copied and pasted .dll files from one folder to another, I've forced specific DNS, I've prayed to the Cheese Wheel gods, and NOTHING IS WORKING. (And I do not have any Razer products, so that isn't it.) I've played this game for over a thousand hours between my gaming PC, and XBox, and this issue has never come up before. What's most discouraging is that I've seen this issue pop up many, many times with no solutions, even since the year the game was released! What is going on here? Why is there no fix for this? I am so beyond frustrated. Has anyone been able to figure this out or bypass the ActivationUI altogether???ri_paige_voice15 days agoNew Rookie42Views0likes1CommentDragon Age Keep refusing to allow me access to world state editor
This has been an on going problem for 3days now. I cannot get dragon age keep to allow me to access any sort of function what so ever. I am able to login to the world state editor but will immediately receive an error message telling me to refresh and retry. The system worked fine less than a month ago. I have insured both login emails and are the same. I’ve cleared all cache, cookies, browsing history etc. my VPN is currently disabled. As well as my virus protector. I have tried logging in from different browsers both PC and mobile.. (screenshot is mobile) I am able to login fine through a different account that doesn’t have DA on it but am unable to even share world states with my main account as a friend. I've been trying to launch Dragon Age Inquisition on my pc lately and it doesn't work, I've previously sunk 33hrs into the game and it eventually refused to launch properly. I go to launch it on Steam, EA or Epic and it doesn't matter. I launch it and it opens up the EA app and as per usual forces me to launch the game through there and then it proceeds to close the EA app and say "Preparing Game" with the loading bar, after a moment or two it opens up the EA app again and acts like I never even attempted to launch the game in the first place. I've even had task manager open at the same time and it never even launches the games at all. The most annoying part of this whole issue is the fact that I have this problem on multiple games. Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 5 have the exact same issue, both of which are games that I've also sunk a decent amount of time into and would like to play again but can't. At one point I found a solution to the Dragon Age Inquisition problem that being to launch the EA app as administrator and the go offline and launch Dragon Age from desktop as admin but that doesn't work anymore. It's also only and issue with some of the older titles since all of the newer ones work fine like Battlefield 2042 and Jedi Survivor and even some of the old ones like Mass Effect and the other Dragon Age games I would just really like to be able to play these games again but no matter how many discussions and subreddits and the like that I go through none of the supposed "solutions" work for me.50Views0likes1CommentSoldier's Peak - Bug?
I have encountered a bug near the end of the Soldier's Peak quest, when I have to defend either Sophia or Avernus while they seal the rift. Problem is, the NPC will simply stand in place and the battle will not start. This has happened in two different ways so far: when I ask Sophia to seal the rift before I leave for the tower, and when I side with Avernus after killing Sophia. It will not work either way.SolvedAnonymous18 days ago151KViews12likes85CommentsWeird problem with opening the game.
Hi so I just came across the weirdest thing I ever witnessed. I donwloaded DAO like normal from the EA PC App. Somehow the game starts itself on startup AND ONLY THEN. I tried to turn it on normally from desktop/app and it just didn't start. Anyone has any idea what had caused it and how to fix it? I do have it modded but I played with the same set of mods before and never had an issue like this.47Views0likes1CommentCreatures missing in Haven
Sometimes, when I start a new character or load a save, all neutral and aggressive animals are missing from the Haven environment. Rebooting or anything does not solve the situation, only deleting the corrupted save or starting a new character helps. While the missing creatures are not a big deal, I have noticed missing NPCs if I continue the corruted game. This may be connected to how many other characters I have and how developed they are. I have not troughoutly explored this, but deleting all my other characters seems to help to avoid such corrupted saves with my new one. I am mentioning this now, because after 4 patches I still have this issue and I fear the save can be corruted any time after Haven, too, but then I have no such easy indicator of it as the missing animals. It could be that I just notice someone important missing and cannot even know how long in past the save got corrupted. However, I enjoy this game and I would like to offer my thanks to everyone who work to make it as perfect as possible.SolvedAnonymous21 days ago5.4KViews4likes11CommentsCan no longer play games I already paid for
EA seems to no longer be letting me play Dragon Age Inquisition. This is a game I bought the hard copy for when it was new. I also bought all the expansions. I was happily playing yesterday and now when I click on the game in the app it tells me I have to join EA play(costs $) or buy the game, which I already have bought. Every time I play this game I am disappointed. First by Origin's ineptitude and now by EA and their apparent greed. I just want to play my game!TokenPace21 days agoNewcomer106Views0likes1CommentEA App Won't Authenticate Game After Updates
I was told to post here... After speaking with customer service several days ago they decided they couldn't help me and would 'elevate my issue to management'. Since then, my original post has moved around to other forum spaces - but I've received no further help... I'm trying to launch Dragon Age: Inquisition, a game I've owned since 2016, but every time I try it pops up with a window requiring me to re-authenticate it. It doesn't recognize my login email/password, which I know to be correct as I use the same pass manager to log into my EA account elsewhere. It does recognize my user ID, however none of the buttons are interact-able. So even if I had an authentication code, there's nowhere to enter it. I played the game the day prior with no issues, but windows ran updates overnight. So far I have: Uninstalled/reinstalled + repaired Changed my password just in case (verified with email) Cleared the EA App cache Performed a clean boot which forced the EA app to update Updated the Epic Games launcher Tried launching the game from both apps And I have an empty licenses folder with hidden files checked on. Would appreciate any assistance with this. I know I can't be the only one, and I don't know where to go from here. Attached are screenshots of the popup I'm seeing.Umber-Penumbra29 days agoSeasoned Newcomer104Views0likes2CommentsCan’t select language (App and Games)
Hey. Wanted to download Dragon Age Origins via the Gamepass, and it requires the EA app. After downloading the EA app, I tried to change the app’s language from English to French but the drop-down menu just doesn’t work. The list doesn’t show up, and I have the same issue when I try downloading a game: it asks me for the language before installing but I can’t select anything and it stays on « English » no matter what I try. Might be relevant to specify that this happens on my Rog Ally Z1 Extreme. I tried with a mouse too. Any ways to fix that?Seth-Mackenzei29 days agoRising Newcomer55Views0likes0CommentsCan't Access Main Quests Anymore?
Hi, everyone! I've been replaying DA:I again, and, for some reason, it won't let me access the main questline. I went to play Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, and the fast travel is greyed out. I saw an earlier post where someone mentioned loading an earlier save, but, when I did that, it wouldn't let me start any of the main quests I had been able to do previously, so now I'm not sure what to do. I've restarted the game, took out the mods (which were mostly cosmetic, but you never know), and even verified my game files through steam. At this point, I'm at a loss. Any ideas?Solvedbandcampsquirrel2 months agoRising Traveler49Views0likes1Comment
