I bought EA play for the madden download and I don't want to be charge a monthly fee after this month. I logged in and I can't find the option to cancel my monthly subscription. It says that I might have logged in another a different name. How do I find that name that has the monthly subscription?Solved361KViews23likes18CommentsI have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but EA Play isn't working
Title. I just renewed my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, but whenever I try to download a game via EA Play, it tells me I still need to buy an EA Play membership. If I try to purchase an EA Play membership, it tells me that the subscription is not available.Solved147KViews38likes76CommentsEA Play Hub no longer working

Unable to remove linked EA account
The EA chat people were unable to help me, so I am seeking help here. The situation: My Xbox game pass account, the only one, that I have had since 2010-2011ish is under my control. My EA account that I have had since well before the monthly pay to play services is under my control. A second EA account, that I do not have access to, which I believe is an ex-roommate is linked to my Xbox game pass account. Microsoft cannot remove the link for some reason. EA chat people want me to validate that the second account is mine... it is not and I cannot reach the ex-roommate. I can verify my Xbox/Microsoft account, I can verify my EA account, but I am unable to link them. Anyone have any ideas? I have been working on this issue for 5 hours, worked with 2 Microsoft reps and 2 EA reps. Microsoft points finger at EA, EA just tells me I must know that other account. Edit: Made a picture to help signify what I think is happening: Also, I have now dedicated 10 hours to this issue. Contacted 3 EA reps, and 3 Microsoft reps. Microsoft points their fingers at EA and says EA can only unlink accounts. EA says, I have to validate/verify the "Not My Account" is mine before the can unlink it. WAIT WHAT? How do I verify something not mine? One of the EA reps said it would be easier to just make a new Xbox account. Edit 2: Adding more information. Here is the info they want me to verify on an account I do not have access to, or is it mine: IP address: Last 4 digits of credit card: Date of birth: Billing address: Phone number: Two specific game versions on account and purchase dates: I am starting a running list of complaints: Chat technicians lie. They reference you are able to access a log of the chat after the chat is closed. This is in attempt to get you to close the chat so they don't get dinged maybe. I am not sure, but I was unable to locate any chat log. I cannot see any of the logs prior tied to my case. Chat technicians, claim to not have access to all actions taken on a case. Think review previous chat logs. Answers HQ Community Managers parrot canned phrases to use their Chat script reading support, despite reading the actual posts. Think Copy/Paste a canned response. Edit 3: I just thought I had a break through. When clicking on EA Play via Xbox app instead of showing the error that another account (not mine) is already linked, it prompted me to log into my EA account! Just kidding, heading back to Xbox App and attempting to go into EA Play says.... wrong account linked. Please assist!Solved44KViews110likes5CommentsUsing EA play on different platforms
I have a question about the new service EA Play/Pro. I've been a member of orgin acces premier for a while now. But sadly, I cannot connect the same account to the new PS4's Ea Play. As it requires me to purchase the membership again via the store. Will I be able to connect my account to different platforms or not?Solved44KViews4likes20CommentsWhy am I not able to request a refund for EA Play Pro?
I recently purchased EA Play Pro with the expectation that such an expensive service would be available on all platforms that my account was linked to. After having tried to connect my PS4 to EA Play Pro, I found not only was in not available, but also that separate paid accounts have to be made for each platform, which is crazy on the Pro version of EA Play. I attempted to request a refund, but was redirected to https://help.ea.com/uk/refund/ which does not give refund options for the service and only does so for individual games. I have only had the service for a couple of hours and in addition to the lack of cross-platform support, I discovered massive issues in FIFA cross-platform support, with FUT teams and EAS FC levels and exp not transferring either, even when my PSN account is linked to my Origin account. Is there any way for me to request a refund without having to wait for 131 minutes for a chat operator to become free at 23:52 at night? Hi, I have an EA account, have had so for years. I have a reasonable amount of paid content on it, 20+ titles. I also have an Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription and have been eagerly awaiting access to the EA Play library since it was announced last year. The EA play content comes up on my Xbox Game pass for PC as being available, that's great! Looks like I have to install a Beta of EA Desktop which appears to be replacing Origin. Fine I guess, another launcher, but hopefully it will play nice with GOG Galaxy 2.0. Go to sign in and it tells me that my EA account is already linked to a different Xbox Account. I have to think about this as I don't recognise it, then I recall this is an old, old, Xbox account from when I had an Xbox 360. I don't ever recall linking this to my EA account, but no big deal, or so I thought, I'll unlink this old Xbox account that I don't use and link it to my current Xbox Game Pass for PC account that I use and pay a subscription for when I log back in. No dice, I know see a message that says I can't link my EA account with my current Xbox account because it has previously linked to another Xbox account in the past. So I think this is a bit odd, I know I can't merge my Xbox accounts, the old one with the new, I've been down this road with Microsoft before. So maybe I think I'll create a new EA account and link this with my current Xbox Game Pass account and then have that merged to my current EA Account - the one with all my content. Time to head to help.ea.com - I have a lengthy discussion with someone on the chat. Apparently, no, they cannot merge a new EA account with my existing EA account because I have linked my existing EA account with Steam. This happened out of necessity I think when I purchased EA content on Steam last year. Okay, so maybe I can have my existing EA account signed into Origin and the new account signed into EA Desktop Beta? Nope, the credentials are shared. So creating a new EA account won't help. Okay, maybe tech support can assist me with linking my current EA account with my current Xbox Game Pass account? No, this is restricted because I have at some point in the past linked my EA account with an Xbox account, one that I don't use. I asked the tech support rep about this restriction, what is the reasoning behind this restriction, will this restriction be reviewed in the future, and if so will I be contacted about this? I was informed that I should make a post here. I am a bit frustrated by the experience. It seems like an arbitrary restriction, all I want is to access all my EA content in one place, the stuff I paid for and the EA Play content I am entitled to with my Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription. Two EA accounts is not the answer, especially as I own multiple devices and EA Desktop Beta and Origin share credentials. Can anyone help with this? Who can I contact regarding this restriction? I know I might be a bit of an edge case, but I figure that with the EA Play content available through Xbox Game Pass for PC now that I can't be the only person in this predicament. I have EA Play through Steam. I downloaded various EA games on Steam but cannot launch any of them. When I try to launch, I get the message in the EA app "You don't have access." None of these games appear in my collection in the EA app. This issue happened shortly after I chose to not have my 12-month EA Play subscription renew when it will run out later this year, but I still have about 11 months left. I know other people are having this issue but the fix that has worked for some of them (downloading a free game and then stopping the download mid way) has not worked for me.Solved35KViews4likes19Commentscan i play fifa 23 with ea play

Hey EA Play members, We’ve had some questions about how to access EA Play game trials. All EA Play members are able to play 10-hour trials of the latest EA titles, often beginning days before the launch of the game. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers enjoy these same benefits, as a full EA Play membership is included with these Game Pass tiers. Please note that the EA Play Hub app is retired and no longer available. For more info on how you can access your trials, check out the EA Help articles linked below: FOR XBOX FOR PLAYSTATIONEA_Jason4 years agoEA SPORTS FC™ Team29KViews12likes9CommentsKnown Issue Workaround: Unable to Download EA Play Games for EA Desktop
Hey all, we are aware that some users accessing EA Play through Xbox Game Pass are experiencing issues where they are unable to download or access EA Play games. The team is aware of the issue and investigating. In the meantime, if you are an EA Play member through Xbox Game Pass and running into this issue then the team recommends uninstalling EA Desktop from your system and then when next launching the Xbox App allow it to download and install EA Desktop. Once done you should be able to access your EA Play games through the EA Desktop. Thanks for your patience and we will update you with further information as we get it. I linked my XBox account, booted up the Xbox app, ran Titanfall ,2 which sent me to the EA Desktop app, which loaded the game and everything works and EA Desktop shows I have EA Play as well as in my EA account. Great right? HOWEVER when using Origin, its shows that I don't have EA Play. I'd have thought that since its the same account, it would tell both apps I have it? Also if I run Battlefield 1 through the Desktop app, its says I only have 15 minutes left! I have 635 hours in that game as I own it! Have tried clearing the caches of both to see if that fixes it but it didn't do anything. Is there anyway to fix this? I keep hearing about the "One XBox account in a lifetime of an EA account" but that's not the issue here as it obviously is connected correctly at some point to allow me to use EA Play through the desktop appSolved28KViews0likes24CommentsEA Play Early access EA College Football 25
