EA Play Pro subscription payment not going through
I had an EA Play Pro membership (monthly subscription) for several months until January 2025 when my subscription was somehow cancelled bc EA wasn't able to charge my linked PayPal account. Since then I've been trying (without success) to re-subscribe to EA Play Pro using PayPal as a payment option but I keep getting "There is no funding source added to your PayPal account. Please add a card to continue." message in the checkout window. The thing is, there are several verified payment sources added to said PayPal account, PayPal support checked the account, it's in a good standing and has no blocks or limits, AND all other subscriptions continue to be charged just fine. I've tried different VISA and Mastercard cards issued by different banks, all of them somehow get rejected with the same error text that does not say much. I also went through the forums and read all the help documents there are on the website, but none of the suggested causes are applicable to my case. TL;DR: can't make any payments using PayPal but used to be able to do so without a problem until recently. What's changed and how to fix it? I just want to play my video games in peace. Thanks!
EA play gone
So the entire day I have been trying to load up my sims 4 and it hasn’t been working started at 10am it is currently 5:10pm. My game finally loaded up, but then said I don’t have get to work. So I get out of my game and see that it says I don’t have Get to Work and I look up a reason why this might be happening. I realize that my EA play isn’t active I haven’t stopped payment or anything it just stopped.
I am unable to play any EA Play games with my PC Game Pass subscription
I purchased a PC Game Pass subscription today and then tried to install a few EA games. Every game I select takes me to the EA app which then shows those games only available for purchase. I do have an existing EA account with many games. I tried contacting EA support but they have engineered the entire support process to divert you from ever communicating with a real person in their support team, even to the point of having an AI drone that's about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. Look, EA made 7 billion dollars in 2023. Valve made 5 billion and still puts the customer first, always. EA, if you can't sort out the simple stuff, you are destined to failure no matter the size of your franchises. Valve is one of the few companies in this world who do not have wealth atrophy. They ALWAYS take care of their end users, no matter what, and that is why Amazon, EA and Epic stores will all go away in time, because with Valve it's not about the bottom line. WE WANT SUPPORT. Valve: Your account has been hacked? SEND OUT THE NINJAS! EA: We don't want to talk to you, ever. Eff you. I just want to play Game Pass games on my computer. Why is it so **bleep** hard?
My game pass games are not free in the ea play store, i don't know what to do?
Everything is correctly linked. I've tried uninstalling the Ea store app and re-installing. I've tried disconnecting my xbox acc and then reconnecting it. I've tried these steps Close the EA app. Navigate to the Xbox app. Go to settings (click your name in the top left corner) Select "extensions." Disable the extension for the EA App Locate the game you want to download on the Xbox app You'll notice that the install selection has now gone away and been replaced by an option asking you to "enable extension." Enable the EA app extension The Xbox app should then launch the EA app automatically Once you see the EA app open, you should now be allowed to select an SSD/HDD to install the game Nothing is working. Any other ideas? The fact EA doesn't have a live chat or a phone number to call for help or service is wild... Thanks
EA Play not working
I bought a gamepass few minutes ago and decided to play EAFC but despite of every effort everytime I try to open Ea Play It's asking me to buy games. I can't access any games Included in my Game Pass. I tried linking and unlinking method multiple times and it still doesn't work. EA FIX IT!!!! (pls)
Xbox PC Gamepass linked to EA Account, but it is not recognising EA Play
I've linked my Xbox PC Gamepass account to me EA account. I've started EA App for windows from Xbox app on windows 10. I am able to log in through my Xbox account in EA App. However, EA App is not registering me as part of EA Play. This should be automatic. Instead it is asking me to purchase EA Play. I have followed a few guides online, where I unlinked accounts, signed out of each, restarted Xbox app on windows and then signed back in to each. It didn't change anything for me. I'm still not able to access EA Play. I even tried launching a game I own on EA App through my xbox account, but it did not help. Can't find a way to raise this issue with EA Support. So I'm hoping somebody who see's this can help me out.
Xbox Game Pass + EA Play – Can’t Play Any Game, Asking to Buy Full Version
Hi, I’m having trouble playing any EA Play game through Xbox Game Pass. Every time I try to launch a game, it redirects me to EA Play and asks me to purchase the full version. My EA account is correctly linked to my Xbox account, and my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is active. I’ve already tried restarting the apps, uninstalling and reinstalling EA Play and Xbox, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Game Pass not detected by Beta EA desktop app - Asks me to purchase a membership
I have Game Pass for PC and of course it includes EA play. I have updated both desktop apps Xbox and Beta EA Play desktop apps, even I reinstalled them from the official web sites https://www.ea.com/ea-app & https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-on-pc and still EA is asking me to get a membership. On the xbox app says that I can install Jedi Fallen Order since it is included with Game Pass through EA Play. I have cleared the cache of EA app, unlinked Xbox and EA and still same result. I never had this problem before and I have installed the game from EA app previously with no trouble until now.There was a problem validating your EA Play subscription
Good afternoon, I'm trying to play the 10-hour trial version of EA Sports FC 25, it tells me to start the evaluation, everything normal, but when I go to the main menu, the message "A problem occurred while validating the status of your EA Play subscription. Please try again" appears and I press advance and the game closes, I've already uninstalled the game, I went to Xbox support, here at EA support and no one was able to solve this problem, I don't know what to do anymore, I want to play EA SPORTS FC 25, I have an active EA Play subscription (Through Xbox Gamepass Ultimate), my 10-hour trial of EA FC 25 hasn't ended, so much so that the message "Enjoy your evaluation" appears as soon as I start the game, and I also tested two other games in the 10-hour trial, NHL 25 and EA College Football 25, and both worked normally, only EA SPORTS FC 25 does not advance to the main menu.
