EA app - Can't Open F1 24
"The splash screen which can be described as the F1 logo on a black background appears for ~1 sec, after which it disappears. After another ~1 second, the EA APP comes back into foreground. The game doesn't boot, I am not asked to boot the VR or normal version of the game (I assume this is still a thing since F1 23 had it). Video attached". The EA App take the time like if you were playing. In my case I have 3h 23min and couldn´t pass the splash screen. The video is from Adr Junkie. Many reddit users also have this problem.Solved13KViews5likes191CommentsF1® 24 | How to report a bug
Hey everyone, If you are on this board, then surely you want to report a technical issue or bug that you want us to look at. This board is essential for us to identify problems in the game. ⚠ Before reporting a bug, please always check to see if your bug has not already been reported. You can use the keyword search for this to possibly find your bug and then add your report in the post created for it and click the "Me too" button to indicate that you are experiencing the same issues. We've also got a list of Community Raised issues which doesn't include every single bug we are tracking but at least gives you on overview of what's already being investigated or awaiting patch. We thank you in advance for your help and reports about problems that you face in F1® 24! What doesn't belong in the bug forum? Account problems, changes for e-mails | passwords | security settings etc. should go into General Discussion please. Feedback, game suggestions or ideas belong into Game Suggestions instead. It's critical to be as specific as possible when submitting a bug report. We're looking for the following details: Fill in all requested fields in the new thread report form Please include the Report Code (bottom left of the screen, looks like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP) If you are on PC then the DxDiag and hardware settings XMLs for the machine are helpful. Particularly when you experience crashes. Attach: user > documents > my games > F1 24 > hardwaresettings right-click the game in Steam > Manage > Browse local files > F1_24.exe.[number].running (please, rename this last file as .txt to be able to upload it) You can save out DxDiag as a text file from the dxdiag.exe that you can launch from via WinKey+R Let us know if you tried restarting your console/PC to fix it (or other technical troubleshooting steps you may have tried) It can also help us, if you can upload a screenshot or video clip of your issue. These can often give us a quick insight into what is happening or has happened in your game to better understand and reproduce the reported bug. Please use platform or operating capture tools to make screenshots. We have some restrictions on clip creation on AHQ, so if we ask you to make a video we will give you further guidance to get them into your AHQ report, but YouTube links would be recommended. Thanks everyone for reading this guide and helping us to make F1® 24 a better experience for everyone! In case you are experiencing other technical issues, check out our Troubleshooting Guide.EA_Vendcera10 months agoCommunity Manager12KViews15likes0Comments[Workaround] F1® 24 - Silent Crashes
Hi drivers! We have seen some reports from players experiencing crashes on Windows 10 and 11. The team has identified a fix that is being readied for deployment which will update the F1® 24 launcher seamlessly soon. Meanwhile, we hope this workaround helps you to jump into the game. Please, consider that this workaround might not work 100% of the time, but it has proven useful for some players. To fix this issue you will need to set up an exception for F1_24 to force a feature called Control Flow Guard off. Control flow guard helps to prevent memory problems for applications that implement the feature. Currently, F1 24 is being incorrectly identified as supporting the feature. For some users, this will enable F1 24 to boot rather than being closed incorrectly. Please, find below the steps on how to do it. In Windows search bar (press win key to find it) search "Exploit Protection". Click on program settings and then select add program to customise. Choose F1_24 by browsing to the file path: EA app: Program Files\EA Games\F1 24\F1_24.exe Steam: \\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\F1 24\F1_24.exe Turn OFF the control flow guard. Repeat for EA Anti Cheat Launcher. Thank you all for your reports, for your constant help and for helping us to figure out this workaround! Dear EA Support, I am writing to express my frustration with the performance issues in the newly released F1 24 for PC. I experienced the same problem with F1 23, and despite trying every possible fix, nothing worked. I was hopeful that F1 24 would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, NOTHING has changed. The game suffers from severe FPS drops throughout, even in the menus, making it completely unplayable. I have tried adjusting all settings to low, high performance, etc., but none of these tweaks have made any difference. This is the only game on my PC with this issue. For your reference, my system specifications are: NVIDIA 4070 GPU 8GB 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz 32GB of RAM My PC is running all other racing titles on the highest settings at 100-140 FPS without any issues, except for F1 23 and F1 24 by EA. This issue was reported by many players during the F1 23 update release. However, no patch or fix was made available, as the release of F1 24 was already advertised and anticipated. It is disappointing that these performance problems were not addressed in the new release. I kindly request that you address this performance issue as it significantly impacts the gaming experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.6.9KViews4likes23CommentsNot Able To Save The Progress IN F1 24

Hey racers! Welcome to the ultimate troubleshooting guide for F1 24 on PC! Whether you're having issues with your wheel setup or facing game crashes, we're here to help. Below you'll find a lot of helpful information you need to get back on track. A bunch of us CMs (Community Managers) are active on here too, and we will do our best to help, but we can't respond to everything. So, let's all rely on the community to help each other out, including in this thread. Think of this thread as our pit crew, ready to get us all back in the race! Although we probably won't hit the sub-2 second pit stops. 😉 First things first, make sure your wheel is supported. Check out the list of what peripherals are officially supported here: [F1®24 - Supported devices]. Basic Troubleshooting Steps: PC System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the game’s minimum requirements. You can find the requirements specs here: [F1® 24 PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS]. Graphics Troubleshooting: For any graphical issues, follow this guide on EA Help: [Troubleshooting graphics on PC]. Update your drivers: Always download the latest drivers directly from your hardware manufacturer’s website. Especially for new game releases, it's often essential for the game to run smoothly. - For NVIDIA drivers, go to the NVIDIA Driver Downloads website. - For AMD drivers, visit the AMD Drivers and Support for Processors and Graphics website. - For Intel drivers, head to the Intel Download Drivers & Software website. Update your racing wheels firmware, if you use one. You can find the latest firmware and instructions on your wheel manufacturer's website, like Thrustmaster. We are also seeing some reports of crashes with Logitech devices, so we strongly recommend you to update to the latest G Hub version (2024.4) Visit the Logitech G Hub site to download it. Additional Troubleshooting Steps: Verify Game Files: Sometimes game files can get corrupted. Verify the integrity of the game files through your game launcher. - For EA app, go to your library --> click on the 3 dots of F1 24 --> Repair - For Steam, go to your library --> right-click on F1 24 --> Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Check USB Connections: Ensure your wheel is properly connected to your PC. Try unplugging and re-plugging it into a different USB port. Avoid using USB hubs or extension cables. Configure ingame settings: Go to the settings menu in F1 24 and configure your wheel settings. Make sure to calibrate your wheel and pedals correctly. Adjust graphics settings: Lowering the graphics settings can sometimes resolve performance issues. Try reducing settings like texture quality, shadows, and anti-aliasing. Disable background applications: Some background applications can interfere with the game and use up resources. Close unnecessary applications and processes through the Task Manager. You can also add the EA app or F1 to your anti-virus programs. You can find more information in this EA Help article. Check for Windows updates: Ensure your Windows OS is up to date. Go to settings --> Update. For crashing issues: Where is the game crashing? For example, when loading onto a specific track or when the podium cut scene plays. How many times has the crash happened? Can you repeat it? Does it crash in the same place each time? Does the crash only happen in one mode? Does the crash only happen on one track? Upload a DxDiag file that can give us more information about your system and any issues with drivers or errors. Press the Windows key and enter 'dxdiag' in the search box. Select the dxdiag app. When DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens, select the Run 64-bit DxDiag button. If that button doesn’t appear, move to step 6. You’ll see a green progress bar in the bottom-left of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window while the program is gathering information. When the progress bar disappears, it means your report is ready. Select Save All Information. Save the file to your desktop (make sure it’s saving as a text file) and give it a name you’ll remember. Select Exit. Attach the file here in your next post. For silent crashes, we've posted a workaround that might work here. Remember, this thread is a place for us to help each other out. If you encounter any technical issues, feel free to post here. Our community is knowledgeable and ready to assist. Let’s work together like a well-oiled pit crew to solve any problems and keep everyone racing! If you found a workaround or solution that worked in fixing your issue, feel free to share it here, so it can also help others! Keep in mind though, if you want to report a bug or issue with the game, please use the search function if a topic about it already exists or create your own thread. We've got our own guide on How to report a bug. Also, for any account issues or for example payment issues, we are unable to help with on the forum. Please reach out to the EA support instead. Here you can find how to create a case. Other than that, happy racing, and let's keep those wheels spinning! -VendceraEA_Vendcera9 months agoCommunity Manager6.2KViews8likes67Commentsno AI DNFs/crashes/broken AI

Like one of many I pre-ordered the Champions Edition on Steam whilst I had an active subscription to EA Play last week only to install it and find out I didn't have access to my 5 hour Trial nor any form of early access on either Steam or the EA App. Steam states the game has not released yet therefor I cannot play it and the EA App wants me to pay for a membership again which I already have. Serves me right for pre-ordering I guess, I know a lot of people are having the same issue and quite frankly, it's not good enough. 1. Yes my accounts on both Steam and the EA Play App are linked 2. Yes I have tried reinstalling 3. No I am not giving you my PC or Sim setup because it is completely pointless to do this. Just admit the launch for your pre-order customers has been an absolute disaster and promise to do better in future.Solved4KViews0likes2CommentsAfter patch V1.14 my screen freezes for a few seconds and FPS drops

Hi guys over the last week since the new patch came out. I have noticed when I come out of the pits in qualifying my wheel rotation doesn’t seem to match the settings. I have my wheel settings on the game set to 340 degrees. Yet sometimes when I leave the pits it sets it to maximum degrees, meaning the steering is really slow and won’t rotate properly. I a clip of the issue to Twitter in which others have had the same issues. My wheel is a Thrustmaster T300 but others are saying they’ve had it on the G29 and fanatec wheels too. I’m hoping this can be fixed soon. I league race and so this causes a fair few issues with AI rules etc, thanks allSolved3.4KViews2likes18Comments- 3.4KViews4likes241Comments
