Hey everyone, If you are on this board, then surely you want to report a technical issue or bug that you want us to look at. This board is essential for us to identify problems in the game. ⚠ Before reporting a bug, please always check to see if your bug has not already been reported. You can use the keyword search for this to possibly find your bug and then add your report in the post created for it and click the "Me too" button to indicate that you are experiencing the same issues. We've also got a list of Community Raised issues which doesn't include every single bug we are tracking but at least gives you on overview of what's already being investigated or awaiting patch. We thank you in advance for your help and reports about problems that you face in F1® 24! What doesn't belong in the bug forum? Account problems, changes for e-mails | passwords | security settings etc. should go into General Discussion please. Feedback, game suggestions or ideas belong into Game Suggestions instead. It's critical to be as specific as possible when submitting a bug report. We're looking for the following details: Fill in all requested fields in the new thread report form Please include the Report Code (bottom left of the screen, looks like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP) If you are on PC then the DxDiag and hardware settings XMLs for the machine are helpful. Particularly when you experience crashes. Attach: user > documents > my games > F1 24 > hardwaresettings right-click the game in Steam > Manage > Browse local files > F1_24.exe.[number].running (please, rename this last file as .txt to be able to upload it) You can save out DxDiag as a text file from the dxdiag.exe that you can launch from via WinKey+R Let us know if you tried restarting your console/PC to fix it (or other technical troubleshooting steps you may have tried) It can also help us, if you can upload a screenshot or video clip of your issue. These can often give us a quick insight into what is happening or has happened in your game to better understand and reproduce the reported bug. Please use platform or operating capture tools to make screenshots. We have some restrictions on clip creation on AHQ, so if we ask you to make a video we will give you further guidance to get them into your AHQ report, but YouTube links would be recommended. Thanks everyone for reading this guide and helping us to make F1® 24 a better experience for everyone! In case you are experiencing other technical issues, check out our Troubleshooting Guide.EA_Vendcera10 months agoCommunity Manager12KViews15likes0CommentsF1 24 - Replays Not Working in Theatre Mode

So we’re back to the old problem of the AI not being affected by drag or aero or having unlimited ERS, or a combination of all three. Brand new engine at Suzuka and have a setup that has me going reasonably though the first sector, as in my sector time is reasonable to the cars around me in the R&D chart. I qualify within a few tenths of my teammate and in every practice session I seemed to have a top 10 straight line speed, although speed trap speeds STILL aren’t added to the lap time info so there is no real way to compare them. Come race time and with Overtake pressed on a non-DRS straight I am 3 to 4 tenths slower than the cars around me with comparable cornering speeds.tn1329 months agoRising Adventurer3.2KViews10likes88CommentsAfter patch V1.14 my screen freezes for a few seconds and FPS drops

Hey racers! Welcome to the ultimate troubleshooting guide for F1 24 on PC! Whether you're having issues with your wheel setup or facing game crashes, we're here to help. Below you'll find a lot of helpful information you need to get back on track. A bunch of us CMs (Community Managers) are active on here too, and we will do our best to help, but we can't respond to everything. So, let's all rely on the community to help each other out, including in this thread. Think of this thread as our pit crew, ready to get us all back in the race! Although we probably won't hit the sub-2 second pit stops. 😉 First things first, make sure your wheel is supported. Check out the list of what peripherals are officially supported here: [F1®24 - Supported devices]. Basic Troubleshooting Steps: PC System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the game’s minimum requirements. You can find the requirements specs here: [F1® 24 PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS]. Graphics Troubleshooting: For any graphical issues, follow this guide on EA Help: [Troubleshooting graphics on PC]. Update your drivers: Always download the latest drivers directly from your hardware manufacturer’s website. Especially for new game releases, it's often essential for the game to run smoothly. - For NVIDIA drivers, go to the NVIDIA Driver Downloads website. - For AMD drivers, visit the AMD Drivers and Support for Processors and Graphics website. - For Intel drivers, head to the Intel Download Drivers & Software website. Update your racing wheels firmware, if you use one. You can find the latest firmware and instructions on your wheel manufacturer's website, like Thrustmaster. We are also seeing some reports of crashes with Logitech devices, so we strongly recommend you to update to the latest G Hub version (2024.4) Visit the Logitech G Hub site to download it. Additional Troubleshooting Steps: Verify Game Files: Sometimes game files can get corrupted. Verify the integrity of the game files through your game launcher. - For EA app, go to your library --> click on the 3 dots of F1 24 --> Repair - For Steam, go to your library --> right-click on F1 24 --> Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Check USB Connections: Ensure your wheel is properly connected to your PC. Try unplugging and re-plugging it into a different USB port. Avoid using USB hubs or extension cables. Configure ingame settings: Go to the settings menu in F1 24 and configure your wheel settings. Make sure to calibrate your wheel and pedals correctly. Adjust graphics settings: Lowering the graphics settings can sometimes resolve performance issues. Try reducing settings like texture quality, shadows, and anti-aliasing. Disable background applications: Some background applications can interfere with the game and use up resources. Close unnecessary applications and processes through the Task Manager. You can also add the EA app or F1 to your anti-virus programs. You can find more information in this EA Help article. Check for Windows updates: Ensure your Windows OS is up to date. Go to settings --> Update. For crashing issues: Where is the game crashing? For example, when loading onto a specific track or when the podium cut scene plays. How many times has the crash happened? Can you repeat it? Does it crash in the same place each time? Does the crash only happen in one mode? Does the crash only happen on one track? Upload a DxDiag file that can give us more information about your system and any issues with drivers or errors. Press the Windows key and enter 'dxdiag' in the search box. Select the dxdiag app. When DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens, select the Run 64-bit DxDiag button. If that button doesn’t appear, move to step 6. You’ll see a green progress bar in the bottom-left of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window while the program is gathering information. When the progress bar disappears, it means your report is ready. Select Save All Information. Save the file to your desktop (make sure it’s saving as a text file) and give it a name you’ll remember. Select Exit. Attach the file here in your next post. For silent crashes, we've posted a workaround that might work here. Remember, this thread is a place for us to help each other out. If you encounter any technical issues, feel free to post here. Our community is knowledgeable and ready to assist. Let’s work together like a well-oiled pit crew to solve any problems and keep everyone racing! If you found a workaround or solution that worked in fixing your issue, feel free to share it here, so it can also help others! Keep in mind though, if you want to report a bug or issue with the game, please use the search function if a topic about it already exists or create your own thread. We've got our own guide on How to report a bug. Also, for any account issues or for example payment issues, we are unable to help with on the forum. Please reach out to the EA support instead. Here you can find how to create a case. Other than that, happy racing, and let's keep those wheels spinning! -VendceraEA_Vendcera9 months agoCommunity Manager6.2KViews8likes67CommentsNo DNFs for AI / AI DRS Train
Playing in driver career mode in F2, I noticed that the AI do not suffer from mechanical issues/retirements or cause yellow flags (I do a full race weekend and 100% race distance with both car damage and damage rate at simulation). Additionally, the AI seem to have trouble overtaking each other and instead form a giant DRS train.753Views8likes8CommentsButton prompt for engineer radio messages disappears
Hi all, While playing F1 24 the button/option to pull up the engineer radio messages disappears. Hey racers, Following last week's patch, an small number of PC players have reported some unexpected behaviours and changes to their previous setups. Following some internal testing, re-generating a new set of Hardware Settings is recommended as features from the v1.14 (such as AMD FSR 3) may have caused some setting combinations to experience issues. This can be done simply by deleting the hardware settings files that are locally stored on your PC. After deleting, F1 24 will create new hardware settings files. The only data that will be lost from deleting these files will be any custom graphics settings you may have changed. All other save data will be unaffected. We will be updating F1 24 in a future patch to guard against issues such as these from recurring. Here's how to find and delete your hardware settings file: If already running, close F1 24 On the storage device you have F1 24 installed, go to: Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\F1 24\hardwaresettings Delete both the hardware_settings_config.xml and hardware_settings_info.xml files Re-load F1 24 Should you wish to change the graphics settings again, you can do so from F1 24's menu screens. If you are still encountering problems, please be sure to check our PC and Wheel Troubleshoting Guide here and follow the steps listed, including checking that your graphics drivers are up to date. Additionally, please see the Technical Issues pages on EA Answers for users that have reported similar problems. If your problem is yet to be reported, please create a new topic of your own. Thank you!CM_TGK4 months agoCodemasters Team2.6KViews7likes0Comments
