Please let us add/train playstyles in Career Mode
I love the introduction of playstyles, but it can be so much better if we can add them/train players to obtain them. Playstyles are such an important aspect of the game and it is extremely disappointing that we can’t train our players to have playstyles/playstyle+. In FC24 we had the playstyle training glitch and it was one of them best features in the game (adding playstyles to any players). I played FC24 more than any other FIFA because of this glitch. I sincerely hope EA find a way to add the ability for players to obtain playstyles and playstyle+ in the future.
Fc 25 Youth Academy
Hey fc, in career mode & in particular the youth academy, a lot of newly scouted players will have exactly the same type of face I.e the eyebrows are always pointed down with an alien shaped head. It’s like playing a team that are all clones. & also scouting a Target forward specifically wanting someone who can head the ball being a striker, their Head- accuracy is near rated 10 while others are way higher. This is also the same with a goalkeeper, their diving is between 1-15 whereas their kicking is 55-60. and lastly is it correct that no youth player scouted is higher overall than a 65 or so as it’s virtually impossible to scout a proper wonder kid. It’s your job to find out what’s going on, or why. It was your job in the first place to make sure these things rarely happen. What happens when the bug occurs? I get angry and feel the sudden urge to be violent and destructive. Wait, you mean in the game? Same. What should be happening instead? Normal gameplay. I thought I’d never get to say this, but this is worse than FC 24. At least 24’s basic functionalities were functioning. How do you expect me to play this game and to experience all of those your sugar-coated advertisement of exaggerated copy-and-pasted nonsense when the most basic stuff isn’t working properly? In Player Career Mode, during match, my player can’t sprint as if they are suppressed by the mediocre coding of your game. When they aren’t sprint, it doesn’t mean they are jogging. They just casually fast-walking. It gets worse even with the ball. Even that fast-walking is reduced to 30%, and it’s painfully slow. I tried everything. Changed settings, changed sliders, even started various new files, but none fixed this problem. It’s simple. It’s basic sprinting. Without it, this game is LITERALLY unplayable. How come you guys sit around your comfy desks doing nothing then release this pathetic excuse of a football game. How do you expect me to experience your glorified ‘new’ features when I can’t simply RUN. Do you guys know why sprinting is such important in football games? See, I have to RUN to chase the ball. I have to RUN to get into defensive positions. I have to RUN to make an attack. I do hope, in the closet time, you guys fix this most basic game-breaking problem. PLEASE.FC 25 PRO CLUBS BUGS.
ATTENTION EA, PLEASE READ. ALL known GLITCHES with FC 25 pro clubs: 1. Playing as any and CAM will often start your pro in LB/LWB, and an ai LM/RM in CAM. 2. Playing a back 5 formation will start an ai LB/RB in CB and generally many ai players in wrong position, such as an ai LM in cm. 3. Changing the preferred foot of customisable ai players does not correspond in game. Within a game, ai players have a different preferred foot to the one you chose and as stated on the menu’s. For example, left footed right back. 4. Customising AI player faces within a club does not correspond in game. Many customised AI faces revert back to a kind of default looking Asian face despite how it has been modified and appears in the menu’s. 5. When matching with another team whether through divisions of friendlies, a player is often unable to make it to the opponent found page and is locked out, forcing the team to play without one of their players. 6. Large majority of PC players utilise cheats, such as making the AI players in their club 99 rated, with more than two gold + traits … there will be more but these are what I’ve experienced, pictures available to help showcase problems if needed.
Idea for fc25 (or fc24 if its being updates still)
Ultimate Team Firstly, Nothing big, just for sbc's you could have a way to put a team with a certain overall without, or a way to do squad builder without it using players in your squad. I feel this would make it easier to do an sbc without having to think, "is this person in my squad" or "will this make it (incert number) overall" The other thing I think could be in ultimate team is an option to only go against players that haven't bought in game currency, (if you yourself havent) sort of like an f2p server/mode. It could make people not feel like they need to pay to win, so they can actually get to higher ranks. Player career mode Firstly, I want to say, love the idea of targets you complete to move, but, alongside do this this and this to get a contract, doing certain things, like breaking records, player of the year, winning balon d'or, things like that, could get clubs to want to sign you. Secondly, probably gets said alot, but free roam, weather it's a whole city, or an apartment, house or mansion you can buy things for, and buy bigger houses, it would be cool, it be a big thing to ask for, but if done correctly and well, would certainly be an amazing feature, something like the standard menu, with an option of 'free roam' or 'your house' could work. Thirdly, and the one that likely wouldn't happen, would be ai commentary, once you play matches for a while, you've likely heard every like they have to say, with ai commentary, every match would be unique with it's commentary. It would be cool if you keep taking shots from afar and keep missing, for the game to be able to tell, and say something like "if he keeps this up, they will never score". It would also add to immersion. Lastly, the ability to watch other teams matches, unless this is already n the game, being able to play for burnley, but be able to go watch the Manchester Derby, after or before your match, or just watch the highlights. This could work with free roam as if you have a tv, you could watch a match as it goes on, or the highlights of one that's done. manager mode The first idea for manager mode: managers other than you being sacked/retiring. If pep guardiola gets city relegated, odds are the board will not be happy, so if they could be sacked, retire, or even go to manage a different club,then get replaced by someone else, randomly generated from all the clothing and names in the game, then that would make the game feel more realistic, otherwise you could get pep or klopp at a club until they're over 100. Number 2 is kit sponsors. After making your kit, you could be greeted with a screen that shows a number of different company's (real or fake) with objectives to do to get extra cash, or so they don't decline being the sponsor. The least likely of the three to get I (if any) is a more advanced stadium maker, this doesn't mean to get rid of the current on, just to have an option to make it with templates or to make it using different pieces you can move, or being able to make a set of seats one colour, another a different colour. Could make for some great creations. One last thing, please, along with the new rush thing, please add the journey back, I loved playing the mode, and would love to see it back. It's one of the main reasons I got fifa 19, and when it got removed for volta, it made me not get fifa 20 as fifa 19 has the things I played, so a new journey would make me definitely grt fc25, sorry if this bit want very good, and sorry if these features arnt good, hopefully at least one of these can even be considered.
Player Career Intros: Can we please get an update?
Not to double up on another topic, but... A few weeks ago, someone noted that Full Intros weren't rolling in Player Career. The "Answer" was to ticket it, so it could be investigated further. Since then, there's been an awful lot of chatter on the thread, and a lot of back and forth from players, but nothing substantive from the team. I know some of this might come off in cold print as a little bit crusty, but that's absolutely not my intention. Player Career in this franchise, has historically been one of the best in the industry. Which is why it's so disappointing for players, when it's less than what it could be. The boldface that follows is intended for readability, and not used in anger. So, could we please get an official update on: 1. Are Full Intros even supposed to roll in Player Career in the first place? The pre-launch hype made a big deal of this, so I assume the answer is Yes, but official confirmation would still be appreciated. 2. If they're supposed to be rolling, but aren't, is that fixable? Again, it's been three weeks since we last heard anything official. I would guess, a priori, that three weeks is enough time to come up with a preliminary prognosis on whether or not this is fixable. 3. Assuming it is fixable, what's the priority for fixing it? I understand that FC 25 is a huge program, with a lot of interrelated systems and routines. Getting everything to work perfectly, on multiple hardware platforms, is no mean feat. And issues like stability, basic global playability, and the like, are naturally going to be prioritized over presentation in a single mode. All that having been said, I think it's a fair question to ask, Where is this on the proverbial "To Do" list? 4. Assuming that it's fixable, and intended to be fixed, is a fix currently being worked on? If not, is there an anticipated start date for that fix? Don't need the specific date with the latter, but knowing that there will be movement on this, would be much appreciated. 5. If a fix is in fact in the works, what's the best information that players should know about its progress? Not asking for any company secrets or non-public information here, but some sort of status update would be very helpful. To wit, is it, looking promising, more complicated than expected, being coded in as we speak...or something else? And, last but not least... 6. Is there a tentative, ballpark, wild guess, best case scenario, please don't hold us to it, date, when we might anticipate Full Intros in Player Career? Some final thoughts: What we have in Player Career, isn't bad by any means. I know some will disagree, but that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.. But the mode could be better with Full Intros, and I doubt anyone would disagree with that. Thanks much for giving this a look.
THE PROBLEMS WITH GOALKEEPER
Hi, im a Content Creator on YouTube, iTz Superfly and have been playing since FIFA 98 and Been playing GK from FIFA 11 to present im a competitive player in Leagues. so i would like to think i know a lot about this position. with that being said if one of the Community Managers wants to reach out to me and discuss a few things, quickly before i list off a number of problems that needs addressing. i have applied for the Creator Network and would love to be apart of the team if again a Community Manager could help me with this would be fantastic. So Firstly i want to say the Game feels great im loving the game but these are my issues with GK in Pro Clubs i'll start with the most important to least important but they all need Improving a lot, 1. None of the playstyles work and here's some examples, * Footwork playstyle - Never Ever Triggers not even for low shots like intended, 1 - 100 shots maybe saved with the Foot. * 1 on 1 GK rush Playstyle - When you Rush out the GK just slides even if the player hasn't even taken the shot and even stopping with the rush to set your feet still don't work , the animations for this playstyle is completely useless. very lucky if you actually make a save doing this. - Why cant we rush out and make ourselves a Big target so we have more chance to save ( This playstyle is probably the one that needs looked at most ) * Deflector Playstyle - Now this playstyle might as well be removed from the game, i understand that the coding for this must be very hard as how can the game predict where other players will be to not push the ball into their path but that being said it needs serious work or why cant we catch the ball more with our 90+ Handling * Removal of the Reflex Playstyle - GK's need a playstyle like this to help us compete against players with 98 Finishing and 98 Shot power that's without the playstyles added to that. 2. GK reaction time needs to be way faster when flicking the Right Stick in the Direction of the ball as most of the time you can be standing in the perfect position and the shot will come at you and the GK just watches it go in with No Reactions even if you Flick the RS 3. Auto positioning needs working on When players are outside the box the Auto Position pushes you onto your 6 yard line making long shots much easier to score, the movement needs to be much faster and smarter. even with 99 positioning. 4. Get up from the floor much faster or try and make another save while on the floor if the ball is shot near you At the Time of Writing this i am 110hrs playtime on FC 25 level 100 but With all that said the game feels great and some of the animations are great! but the problems i have mentioned is not coming from someone who has only played a few years ive been playing GK since FIFA 11 the introduction of the GK position i know how good GK's used to be and this isnt it, everything is heavily favoured in the Attackers and so it should be they are shooting the ball into the net but we need more for GK's the games just dont feel great anymore with bags of goals it needs to be a challenge for Attackers to Score against GK's Ai or Human Controlled, i have a few ideas that could help that. 1. Attackers if they have Low Samina and shoot the shot power will be less or less accurate 2. GK's need better Playstyles like: * Shots inside the box GK has Quicker reflexes and dives * GK's can see an indicator under the Attackers Feet when they are about to shoot ( this used to be a feature ) this gives GK's a chance to not flick the RS early and read the game better * more chance to Catch the ball from shots Like i said im the Biggest GK Content Creator on YouTube that plays Competitively and Live streams all games and the whole GK community wants changes no one wants to play GK anymore and that would be a sad day for the pro clubs community. i love this game and i just wish you had Pro Clubs content creators on board who play the game at a high level and been doing it for years and know what they are talking about when it comes to a balanced game, because believe it or not even the attackers in pro clubs hate how bad GK is. i know you have VPG on board but you need more, im putting my self out there to help improve the clubs side of gameplay and in general improve the whole game with ideas. i hope you find this post not an attack but a helpful post and highlighting what needs changing. i look forward to your response.
Request for More Boots to be Added to Clubs Mode
Dear EA Team, I would like to express my sincere request for more boot options to be added to Clubs Mode in EA Sports FC. It is noticeable that over the last few editions, there has been a significant reduction in the variety of boots available in this mode, especially compared to Career Mode, which offers a greater variety. We know that customization is an essential part of the player experience, and many of us feel limited by the limited options currently available. We understand that contractual issues and technical limitations may be involved, but we believe that with a little effort, it would be possible to bring this much-desired update, providing a more immersive and satisfying experience in Clubs Mode. We count on your attention to meet this community demand, which will certainly be very well received by all fans of the series. The addition of more boots would not only increase player satisfaction, but also further enrich the gameplay in Pro Clubs Mode. I would like to thank you in advance for your attention and hope that you will consider our request.
A LOT of (Player) Career Mode Bugs
So first of all, I want to say, EA big SHAME on you guys for making us take the time out of our days, to complain on this forum about bugs from your games and your broken promises, just for you guys to clearly do NOTHING about it whatsoever. I am really angry with you guys, as a loyal customer who bought multiple games from you every year since 2013. Every issue, I tested on my PC, my laptop and PS5 and they all occur on all devices... So what are the bugs I want to talk about? Let's see a shortlist: - R1/RB to make AI teammates contain is bugged; - Can't hear the referee whistle; - NO pre-match cutscenes, like the fans or match intro; - Slow and confusing menu; - Bugged social media comments; - Other lost features which we want back. So first, we have to talk about the R1/RB issue because it is making the game completely UNPLAYABLE, quite literally. I have had to adjust my entire playstyle, just for this f***ing issue. Whenever walking and holding R1/RB to make your AI teammates actually "do something", the game locks my player's controls. So whenever I hold R1/RB, but let go of the left movement joystick on my controller, the player keeps walking in the direction I was walking in before touching the R1/RB button. I literally have to stand still around the middle of the field when using the contain option, and that is RIDICULOUS. This happens whenever you lock youself to a player, or any game mode where you play with AI teammates. FIX IT!! In literally every game, and I am in season 4 now, I have never hear the referee whistle correctly. At half time, full time, start of the match or any event like a foul whatsoever, I still do not hear any whistling coming from the referee. Out of the blue, it is half time if I do not watch the gameclock. It's absolutely insane that a football game has no whistling from the referee... Also, the false advertisement thing. Yeah, EA, you promised us the "Full presentation package" for ALL modes, not just SOME modes! I literally have the setting set to "Always" show the intro, but yet, only men's manager career gets the "Full presentation package". WHY? People who play Player career mode literally want the thrill of stepping onto the pitch to experience the atmosphere, yet we only get the in-game challenges and you f*** off into the match directly. There are 2 big posts about this with 30+ people out of thousands who decide to take action and yet no response or acknowledgement from EA. We literally had to BEG you all year long last year when you removed this feature completely from FC 24, but here we are again, BEGGING... Now let's talk about this confusing menu lay-out. Whoever did this, clearly is no Player career mode enjoyer at all. This new menu looks really nice and all, but it is HORRIBLE. Why do I have to check the squad list at the "Season" tab? I literally spent 10 minutes trying to find this when I first played this game. Also, sometimes the menu is really slow to respond. Sometimes I have to press a button 2 or 3 times. For example: When saving the game, when wanting to start the match but the other objectives are going away, etc... The social media option is something I am really happy with. I can look through the bugged comments and the repetetive comments, but I'd still like to get this to your attention. And there are a lot of features, which would be great and which WERE great, before you removed all of them. I can not even look at a player's profile when I read about them in the news, or social media posts nowadays. Also what would be great, just like in NBA 2k, that you have a chemistry meter with your teammates, instead of only just the manager. Also player career interviews would be realistic and a good feature, which after YEARS you never implemented even though we ask for it literally every year. The only thing what you can do in player career, is watch repetetive news, cutscenes, games, seasons, buy the same stuff over again, and that's it. The player background stories, which you have to choose or customize at the start of your career, have literally no influence on the gameplay or the entire mode, whatsoever. Also, what happened to the tattoos? I know there was not a lot of variety, but for some people these tattoos matter. Why bother adding it only to FC24 player career, but remove it in the next game (FC 25)? EA, PLEASE for once, take your responsibility and adress us, your customers, about this. Lots of people have complained about this, but you have done NOTHING so far to better yourselves, your products and our experience. This proves you're NOT listening to the community, since you have not even properly communicated with us about our issues so far. I, and the entire community of hundres/thousands of players, expect answers, fixes and VALUE FOR OUR MONEY! I am really thinking of seperating my ties with EA, my EA Play Pro subscription and their games if they do not properly respect us. The only people you respect, is the people who are stupid enough to keep buying FC points for Ultimate Team... We as the community might have to look for some other alternatives or desperate measures if you do not deliver us a proper product which is not an even emptier copy of the previous game, EACH YEAR! Please can we get a fix for the completely unrealistic pitch wear in career mode. When getting to the later stages of a season the grass seems to die off extremely leaving brown markings all over the pitch. This is so incredibly unrealistic and kills all immersion of the game. Surely all we need is a ‘turn pitch wear off’ option in gameplay settings on career mode? This has been an issue for a good 4/5 years but doesn’t somehow get the traction it should. Please can we finally get a fix.No Match Intro’s in Player Career Mode *IMPORTANT*
This bug has been a bug in the game since it was released, about a month ago, where match intro’s, for player career mode, does not work regardless of the settings. This is a bug that has put me off career mode and the game completely and I know I’m not the only one. This needs to be fixed now EA! We fired up a post that got acknowledged by an EA employee and was told it would be investigated. It’s been 4 weeks since that was said and there has been no other mention of it what so ever. I am writing this post to fire this topic up again and get the attention it deserves. EA please fix this ASAP because I’m impressed with the changes you have made but this bug alone is not only causing anger in the community but it also means you have falsely advertised your game, which is highly disrespectful. Although, I am sure that wasn’t your intentions. I want to play career mode with the full experience and I can’t with this bug. Once again, I’m sure I’m not the only one. You’ve had plenty of time now and it’s time it gets sorted. Please EA.
FC 25 Youth Academy Fixes
As a long-term FIFA faithful since the days of yore (circa FIFA 97), EA, I beg you, the Youth Academy is broken and it needs fixed. 4 small fixes that will result in a huge impact for those of us on Career Mode. Fix attribute bug (low heading, diving, etc) Allow us to edit the faces (and names) of Cranium players within Career Mode. Allow players to grow/change physically up til the age of 21 Expand the naming pools for newly added nations Yours sincerely, Career Mode MainsFc 25 career mode faults!!!
Fc25 faults Training plans are in affective as players don’t reach full fitness/sharpness when setting it to full. Tried manually aswell and it’s the same outcome! Tactical plans are completely broke as they change your players positions for instance your cm will go to rm when changing in between with/without the ball menus?!?! No goal stats for the season when your player scores a goal (prem) It doesn’t tell you how many levels your player has evolved/decreased over a season?!??!?!?!? so you have to take a picture at the start of the season to know…. MENTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you’ve put all this great work into the youth academy changes there is no way of knowing how many levels they have evolved in a season, basic stuff!!!!!!!! In the media menus it doesn’t tell you who wins the player of the month award, it just tells you who’s up for it. I’ve noticed that in the pre kick off game animations formation my players (my wingers) are in the wrong position being that my lw is shown as a rw and my lw shown as a rw It doesn’t tell you in your emails/notifications when you receive a transfer request?! This means you miss out massively selling/loaning players!!!
Games not counting: "error communicating with EA servers" at end of match
Problem: At the end of a Clubs game, after the final whistle goes, all players on the team are presented with a message along the lines of "There was an error communicating with the EA servers". The game is not counted in the clubs stats like it never happened and no one gets XP. Game breaking when trying to progress through play offs. Frequency: Currently happening in say 1/4 games. Have seen multiple posts on Reddit reporting the same problem. First noticed: This started happening mid December, have played clubs constantly since release so somethign has be broken since then. Matchmaking Region: British Isles/ Western Europe Platform: Xbox Series X and PC (we play cross play have players on both)Overall Review 2 months in - Career Mode Player since FIFA 10
First things first, Ive been a career mode player since FIFA 10, its all I play aside from clubs. This year has proven the neglect this mode continues to get. I give my flowers when things are done well, but oh my word this is the worst Career Mode of any FIFA I have ever played. No one from EA will probably read this anyways but I need to vent and hopefully people share the same frustrations I have as well. I know Im just one person but if you think I have fair points I would really appreciate you to give this post XP. Bad Features - Why on earth do I not get emails about transfer offers I get? Why must I manually check every couple of days in the Transfers tab to see if I get an offer or not? - The menu is super laggy, an eyesore, and super difficult to navigate. - Post game press conference questions are still not relatable to the game just played. I won 3-1 against City as Chelsea and I got questions about poor performance from all of my goal scores. Make it make sense. - Youth players from new countries seemingly have the same surnames, no diversity in the sense of player names from these countries. Just really lazy honestly. - Why is the player chat separate from the Inbox? Having to back out from the one to get to the other is super frustrating as Im just trying to clear my cluttered task list that crowds the screen. - Why has the overall improvement indication left the Squad Hub? Why can I not see my players progression anymore? Do you suggest I write them down to keep track of how my players are progressing? - When negotiating a transfer, I would love to know whose bright idea it was to make a white background for white numbers. Diabolical in all honesty. - Youth tournaments are a good idea but a sad excuse to try and get us to play the "Rush" feature. Half-assed in my opinion. No one wants to play rush in career mode, we play career mode to play 11v11 gameplay. - Why cant I ever wear a black jersey without the ref wearing a black jersey as well? Last year the orange was a problem, now its the black. Again, super super lazy from you all. - Why cant I edit my player roles separately when I have the ball, and when I dont have the ball? I can edit both so that I have different formations, but not different instructions? Makes zero sense. Bring back the old instructions system.Missing boots in EA FC 25 Clubs mode
Hi EA folks, I'm playing EA FC 25 and I wanted to talk about something that has been bothering me in Clubs mode: the lack of boot options. Seriously, there were a lot more options before, and now it seems like a lot of things have disappeared. The strangest thing is that some of these boots are still in player career mode, but do not appear in Clubs. Customization is an important part of the experience, and it would be really cool if you could bring back more boot options in Clubs. I hope this is reviewed in a future update, because it is needed!FC 25 Partial Team Press and Team Contain - Player Unable to Freely Move
(FC 24: currently 602 hours of game time) I noticed that in FC 24, my Pro Clubs player, as captain, can move freely while using either partial team press (R1 + R1) or team contain (R1). (FC 25: currently 4 hours of game time) However, in FC 25, I am no longer able to move my Pro Clubs player freely when using either of those defensive presses. Will there be any fixes to this?
