Infinite Loading Screen/Cloud Save Bug (Rank300) - Multiple PCs
Hi everyone. I have been unable to access my Need for Speed Unbound save file on PC (Steam/EA App) for over a month due to what appears to be a severe cloud inventory corruption on my account. How the issue started: A while ago , when launching the game, I was suddenly prompted with the initial setup questions that only appear when you paly for the first time. I closed the game immediately via Alt+F4, assuming it was a visual glitch. When I relaunched it, the game questions were gone, but the main inventory loading screen took an extremely long time. Once in the main menu, instead of my last used car ,it was the default car: A$AP Rocky's Mercedes. However, the game still correctly displays my Max Rank 300 and that I completed Vol.9>. When trying to enter Lakeshore Online, the game freezes on infinite loading screen, forcing me to Alt+F4. When trying to enter Story Mode, the game completely glitches out and spawns me into an empty map with a blue/grey grid (the game engine void). Troubleshooting steps already taken (unsuccessful) : Completely uninstalled the game from Steam and manually deleted all local save folders. Then I reinstalled it, and the same problem persisted. I installed the game on a completely different, clean PC using my account (without transferring any local files). The exact same error occurred on the second computer. This confirms that the issue is not related to my hardware or local files (meaning the standard support response stating that "everything is saved locally' does not apply here). Instead, my cloud save file or synchronization on EA's server is corrupted. I am attaching screenshots of my main menu showing my Rank300, the glitched Story Mode grid screen, and older photos of my game working normally before the error ( showing my legitimate progress, cars, and money). I would greatly appreciate it if a Community Manager or someone from the community could help me find a way to request a restoration or repair of my cloud inventory sync on the server. Why are all of these gaming companies monetizing everything, look I get it you want dlc from the past or to catch up” on certain items, fine. But besides main player base game purchasing, you should not have to be forced to pay more money after a commitment of a one time purchase for additional content that should be apart of the game to begin with.. the drift pro tires for real you need to be online to use and purchase in game, I’ll play nfs because the racing aspect is halfway decent besides all of this cartoon and really annoying npc for racing thats about it other than the graphics, payback was better, heat was rigid, but you gotta think about what players are saying. I can’t tell you how many times I have uninstalled this game to finally come back to it after comparing other games that is not anything to compare to, and said this is all there is… mine as well have something to do. why are you also penalized for selling a purchased dlc for $0 in game and the. Can’t retrieve the vehicle back ? That makes no sense, despite those cars being really bad to begin with they were so gripped tot he road they had super glue in the tires… but if I later in realize I like the body kit or atleast can upgrade to my liking now I can’t, m yet payback was a matter of just goin to the dealership and picking it up.. why are we going backwards?[Feedback/Idea] Legacy Story Mode: The return of "The Ace" and the BMW M3 GTR
Hello Criterion and EA Team, As a long-time fan of the franchise, I would love to share a concept for a future story DLC or game mode that the community would absolutely love: a "Legacy Concept" that connects the golden era with modern NFS games. The idea is an alternate story set in the present day. After decades of hiding, the original protagonist from Most Wanted and Carbon ("The Ace") returns as a veteran driver in his early 40s. In the story, a young rookie pilot loses everything after being defeated by a modern hypercar (like the Koenigsegg Regera). Seeing the same raw talent and ambition he had back in 2005, "The Ace" decides to pass the torch. In a cinematic climax, he hands over the keys to the legendary silver and blue BMW M3 GTR E46 to the rookie, commanding him to prove to the city that pure modern horsepower is nothing without old-school handling and control. This would be the ultimate tribute to the franchise's history, giving a proper closure to the original protagonist while respecting the legendary status of the BMW M3 GTR. It would connect the nostalgia of the 2000s with the high-stakes modern street racing of today. Thank you for reading and for keeping the street racing spi rit alive!
BUG: PS5 Trophies not popping? (In The Zone, Caught On Camera)
Hey everyone, Is anyone else having trouble getting certain trophies to unlock on the PS5? I’ve fully met the requirements for the following, but they just won't pop on my account: In The Zone Caught On Camera Frequent Flyer I’m 100% sure I completed the objectives (I even got the in-game reward car for doing them!). I strongly suspect this is caused by playing the game offline. At the time I completed the requirements, the EA Servers were down so I couldn't connect. It seems like if you hit the milestones offline, the progress completely fails to sync with the PlayStation trophy system once the connection is restored Let me know if you guys are dealing with this too, or if there's a way to force the trophies to sync!Same issue here in 2026. Logitech G923 still unsupported.
Need for Speed Unbound isn't compatibility with PC , Logitech G923 is one of the most sold and widely used racing wheels worldwide, especially among PC players. Need for Speed Heat supports this wheel correctly, while Need for Speed Unbound still does not after several years since release. This lack of support is actively preventing a strong and established wheel-user community from purchasing or continuing to play Unbound. Considering that the G923 is a modern and current-generation wheel, it is difficult to understand why compatibility has not been added, especially when previous NFS titles like Heat already support it. Please clarify whether wheel support for the Logitech G923 is planned, or if it has been officially dropped.Lockdown mode
The lockdown mode is a very good mode, but you know, it would be even better if they added one more player and one more car to the mode because making it a squad of 4 instead of just three people would be really great, because I have many friends who like Need for Speed Unbound. Just opened game for first time and have someone elses save file? Super weird.

I bought this game back in Feb 2025 according to Steam, but I didn't get around to trying it until now. When I launched the game I immediately got half the achievements, and sure enough instead of getting thrown into story I get this menu where it seems I'm already rank 47... My first instinct is that someone else somehow played the game on my account, but whats weird for the following reasons: I never even launched it on Steam prior, (Steam records this was my first time and only got 4min total) And since I bought it through Steam this also means it shouldn't have even been linked to my EA account yet in any way prior to me launching it. I've never had any other evidence of getting hacked or other security concerns with my EA or Steam accounts, both have remained solid through the years. Steam records 4 minutes, my EA account says 33 hours. I definitely never played this, and I don't have a little brother or anything. The only other platform my EA account is linked to is Steam, and like I said above this game shouldn't have even been on my EA account until few minutes ago. I went to contact EA support just to inform them and ask them about it, but they don't seem to have a way to file a ticket. If there is I can't find it for the life of me. So I'm posting here just to see if people have thoughts? This is super weird. I also saw on Steam reviews someone else lost their save file, so half of me wonders if their servers mixed up who got whose save or something weird. I know I can probably just delete save to start my own but figured I'd just shoutout and get peoples thoughts before pulling the trigger there. Edit: Extra weird detail, the achievements in EA say they were unlocked in March 2024, which is before I bought the game even on Steam. Even if we say that someone got into my EA account at some point in past... would they have bought me the game and played it on there? lol. Cause I sure didn't! Super weird. Edit 2: Just confirmed none of my other EA games have weird activity.
The number of cars seems to have some impact on loading times.
Unbound allows us to have a total of 250 vehicles, single player garage and multiplayer garage combined. I currently have only one car in single player (don't do it much these days) and 85 cars in multiplayer. My memory might be a bit fuzzy, but I do remember the loading times being a bit longer in the past, specifically when I had more than 100 vehicles. Nowadays, loading doesn't take very long for me. It seems that the number of cars has some impact on loading times. Wouldn't you agree?
Moza Support
Hi my main question is really just if there's going to be any Moza support in future updates? A few of my friends have the R5 and R9 and I have the R12 and it would be wonderful to get to experience Need for Speed through these modern wheels… Controllers just don't really do the job anymore, and I know a lot of people that feel the same… Even in an arcade game a wheel is still more fun!Question about lockdown mode
Does anyone know why in lockdown mode, once I already have the car in the garage, when I take another one like it out of the loockup, it doesn't appear in the garage and it's not converted to money. It just disappears as if I didn't extract it. I only have the car that I took the first time out from the lookup without converting the car into money and I don't get anything from this lockdown session. And another question: why don't the Ferrari FXX or the Regera appear in the garage when I extract them from the loockup? I would appreciate answers if anyone knows anything.
