[DERELICTS]Which Derelict is best for which build?
As per the title. I made this Race Mustang Super Build, but dayum, I am not too happy with it. Made a Race Diablo SV, which tears my "super build" to shreds like i am driving a Reliant Robin VS the Diablo SV. And NO, I do have damned decent cards on my Mustang. So, redoing the game, but, which car suits best for what style? Thank you. Luke.Solved488KViews1like12Commentswhat are the best race cars in need for speed payback?
I just wanted to know what the best race cars are in need for speed payback because I feel like my Nissan GTR premium is not performing as well as the other cars so I wanted a good race car that will get me to earn more points in the speedlists. Thanks, answers would be much appreciated.422KViews6likes41Commentsunable to connect to Autolog or any EA Servers causing the game to freeze and crash.-PC

Hold up . . . we are back! What have we been up to? Well, as you can imagine, we’re in the business of making games, and Need for Speed games at that. You can also probably guess where this is going, but for those who haven’t– a new Need for Speed game will be releasing later in 2019! This year is a bit of a special one for NFS, too, as we are turning 25 years. We’ve had almost 25 years going fast, and we can’t wait to kick-start our 26th with the next NFS game. And while we’ve had some great memories over those twenty-five years, we’re not here to look back and reminisce. We’ve got our eyes set firmly on the future. But even while focusing on the future – especially this year – we’ve also thought a lot about what NFS means to you, and perhaps more importantly what we hope it will mean as we move forward. Cars naturally top the list. You could say that the cars and customization of NFS are the beating heart of what we do. Without either of these, NFS fails to exist as we know it. These two elements play a pivotal role in the series and are two aspects that we consider to be foundational, meaning they aren’t going anywhere because NFS wouldn’t exist without them. But NFS is also the culmination of many different aspects, and there’s a special essence that appears when all these aspects come together at a very high quality, an essence that helps create that unique NFS feeling. You could say this essence is our DNA, and it’s exactly what we’re injecting straight into our next project. Tradition, and our above note about a new game later this year, dictates that this is the time when you’ll be eagerly hitting F5 on our Social Media channels, waiting for that first detailed sign of something new, for that first teaser to drop. But let’s hold fire on that for now. Because traditions are all well and good, but they can also be broken, and new ones forged. Just because we’ve done something one way for the last few years, doesn’t mean we should continue to do so. Are you going to hear more about the next NFS title? Yes. Is it being released this year? Yes. Will we be doing anything in June? No. It’s as simple as that, but we wanted to give you a heads up before you started asking “where are you?” Our goal is to deliver a truly memorable high-speed entry into the 25 years of NFS, rather than a series of promotional events. The game matters most – a sentiment we bet you share with us. With that, know that we’re here, we’re building an amazing game that we can’t wait to show off, and the next time we talk, we’ll be packing our bags and heading south for the full unveiling. We’ll see you then. – The NFS Team224KViews80likes271CommentsNext Need for speed game 2018 or 2019
Need for speed payback is a great game i love it but i have Some idea’s for the next Need for speed idea 1 it would be cool if The next Need for speed takes place in Tokyo idea 2 more tuning more neons also Doors you can change and that you can change The inside of your car like the Seats in your car also neons like The lambo from Need for speed 2015 idea 3 police Needs to be like in payback but with heat levels and if your get busted 3 times you can lose your car like in most wanted 2005 also When you drive threw a roadblock The car cant drive anymore also how higher The heat level is you Need to change your car ( like changing the color) because police can recognize you faster and freeroan cops idea 3 people that are walking in The city or somewhere to make The city more alive. Idea 4 ADD a couple of circuits to race there like in underground 2 or test your car. Idea 5 story with a blacklist type of gameplay like most wanted 2005 it doesnt have to be a blacklist but something like that it feels that you Need to do things before you can challenge that someone. Idea 6 When you tune your car you also get stars like underground and like a mode in The game that you Need to customize cars for others like a side mission. Im a huge Need for speed fan i played all The games and still play Need for speed payback and love it very mutch greetings a huge Need for speed fan193KViews20likes127CommentsList: Maxed Car Comparison (Ultimate+ & Engine Swaps)
Hey all, Figured it would be a nice change of pace to have a constructive thread about the game for once. I unlocked all the parts in the game and thought it would be a good idea to put together a list comparing all the different cars, incorporating all their costs and performance measures. Hopefully this picks up some interest and maybe even save some of you time on cars you wouldn't want. In my comparison: 1) Each car is taken to the Speedway circuit race event (4 laps around Speedway) and raced for 4 "perfect" times (4 races per car). By "perfect" times, I refer to full races of no collisions, no bumping of walls, and maintaining cornering speed above >180mph (some cars excepted from this), to measure the cleanest possible race time. Each car was limited to 3 uses of the 15lb nitrous tank per race (not using Nitrous Duration auxiliary perk) 2) Each car is fitted with what I deemed to be the best engine, all Ultimate+ engine components, Dual/Twin Turbo, Track Suspensions, Racing Tires, and Track Differentials. Each car had a 15lb nitrous tank. The only variation in components came from gearboxes, where some cars achieve a higher performance on a 6 or 7 speed transmission versus an 8 speed. 3) The Speedway is a fair comparison because it incorporates long stretches of straight road, as well as long curvatures for the U-turns, which fairly assesses maneuverability/handling. Below is a summary of results thus far. The list is organized by "Average Race Time", which is the average of each cars' four (4) race times. Right-click the image and "Open Image in New Tab" to see the full-size screenshot. The results show the most cost-effective cars, on a relative performance level. Below is each car's cost breakdown: Special Mentions: -Lotus Exige S: the handling on this car really surprised me; it is able to go around the turns very easily, without ever letting go of the gas, and is able to maintain >210mph on the turns. It is incredibly quick and nimble. -Ford F-150 Raptor: the truck really lacked in turning capability; it had to be slowed down to as low as 145mph to make the turns. Very slow acceleration and definitely not worth the $1m worth of investment. -Volkswagen Beetle: the car is hilariously quick, but has absolutely no turning capability and starts to slide really hard beyond 220mph on turns. Took me ages to run 4 good races. I was also thinking of incorporating my own personal rating of each car's handling, depending on how much interest this thread gets. Given that many cars significantly lack in handling and maneuverability at high speeds, I think this is a very important consideration. Let me know what you guys think!183KViews42likes71CommentsNeed for Speed Most Wanted PC Fullscreen
Hello. I've recently got the game (Need for Speed Most Wanted) but I've kept on having the same problem. Window Mode to Fullscreen mode. It simply can't get into fullscreen mode with all the steps I've done, as I described further down. The game doesn't itself allow me to put it either into fullscreen or window mode. So I've searched alot on the internet, and many players have had the same issue, but seemed to find their work around, thus it doesn't work for me. So here is the steps I've done: Step 1: Going to 'regedit' --> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SYSTEM --> ControlSet001 --> Control --> GraphicsDrivers --> Configuration --> "Foldernames" and put the scaling to 3 in all of them. This did not work. Step 2: Going to Nvidia Controlpanel --> Display --> Adjust desktop size and position --> In this tap, I tried to set it to fullscreen both on Display and GPU. Does not work. (My resolution is 1920x1080) Step 3: I tried (Alt+Enter) Had no effect at all. Step 4: I tried to run the game in Compatibillty Mode in Windows 7. I also did try tick off 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' No effect at all. Step 5: Navigated to Documents --> Criterion Games --> Need for Speed Most Wanted --> Config --> In the config I did change the screenscale=3 since it was on 0. No effect at all, either. Both the game, drivers and all other stuff are updated. None of these steps helped me on the fullscreen. So I sit here and have no clue on how to advance further.. I hope I can get this fixed, but atleast I can play it. Tho it is still annyoin.169KViews0likes13Comments[Console] Troubleshooting

SUPPORTED STEERING WHEELS AND CONTROLLERS Below you can find a list of the current officially supported steering wheels and controllers for the PC version of Need for Speed: Logitech - G29 Logitech - G920 Logitech - G27 Thrustmaster - T150 Thrustmaster - T300 Thrustmaster - T500 Thrustmaster - TX Fanatec - Clubsport Xbox One Controller Clutch is not supported. To use the h-shifter map your gears to up and down, these won't be mapped by default. FURTHER LIST OF ACCEPTED SOLUTIONS FOR ISSUES WITH WHEELS, CONTROLLERS, CONTROLS AND IN-GAME MOVEMENT Note: a variety of background programs could cause conflicts with your in-game movement, controls and controllers. The easiest way to test this is via a clean boot. Further and specific steps can be found below. Known programs to cause conflicts: VJOY; try turning this program off. Punto Switcher; mark NFS as an exclusion in Punto Switcher Settings. Any other driver or controller related programs; try switching these off momentarily for testing purposes Further steps to solve related issues: Change controls via Settings, Controls. With keyboard as a default, you can switch between Keyboard, Wheel or Controller with PGUP and PGDOWN. You can then switch between mappings by scrolling left or right. Unplug all controllers and other non-mandatory devices from your system. Check Controls, Sensitivity Tuning. Try to adjust the sliders to either the middle or end; e.g, Accelerator Dead Zone 100% and Break Dead Zone 100%. Further adjust your Sensitivity Tuning settings as these might need to be set different depending on the peripheral used. Unmap all your controls via Settings, Controls, Customize. To unmap your controls keep binding the same button to all mappings. With all controls unmapped you can then remap the settings without the fear of conflicting buttons. THIRD-PARTY AND USER FIXES FOR UNSUPPORTED CONTROLLERS OR WHEELS Note 1: the below tips are not from an official EA source. Read carefully and follow the steps at your own risk. Note 2: if you would like to have a solution added here, please send me a private message. @resLivo: I use a program for my controller called InputMapper - this forces my PC to recognize my controller as an Xbox 360/One controller. I would recommend using this and setting the controller profile to "default" on the main screen. To clarify, I'm using a PS4 controller. Next, in game you must do the following: Go to Settings -> Controls Use Page Down to navigate to "Wheel" (yes, you read it right - Wheel) Press "X" to customise and UNBIND every single key/action - but ONLY for the Wheel Save all these settings (Optional) Cross your fingers Why does this work? Because the "unsupported" controllers are recognized as both a controller and a wheel; therefore, the inputs get mixed up and no matter what you try, something will always get recognized as handbrake. @Malikh822 If you are using an Xbox One S controller: My short term solution is to plug your Xbox One S controller into the computer using Micro USB and downloading "Xbox Accessories" via the Windows 10 app store to update the controller. I was then able to use the controller to play the game, but only when connected via the Micro USB cord.157KViews37likes0Comments
