"Cheating Crisis in the Canasta Community – EA Sports Needs to Step Up"
I’ve been a loyal player of EA Sports Canasta for years, and it's seriously disappointing to watch how rampant cheating has become in the community. At this point, it's not even about "a few bad apples" anymore. It’s an epidemic, and it's seriously starting to erode the integrity of the entire game. If EA continues to ignore this issue, it’s not just going to damage the competitive spirit — it will start to taint the company’s reputation. Here’s why: The Rise of Cheating: It’s no longer rare to encounter cheaters in almost every high-stakes game. Whether it’s bots, card-counting exploits, or players using external tools to manipulate results, it’s becoming unbearable. The company’s response? Silence. The worst part is, the community has been reporting it for months with little to no action from EA. Why This Hurts the Game: Cheating ruins the core of what Canasta is supposed to be about — fair competition and strategy. When the best players aren’t rewarded for skill, the entire leaderboard system becomes irrelevant. Even more casual players are being driven away, and EA’s reputation for producing quality, competitive games is being questioned. Is this the new normal for EA Sports? The Impact on the Community: We’ve got a toxic, under-reported problem here. Players who refuse to cheat are getting frustrated, while cheaters laugh their way to the top, unaffected by the broken system. It’s leading to a huge drop in engagement and genuine passion from the community. It’s time EA stepped up and did more than just turn a blind eye. The company needs to start enforcing stronger anti-cheat measures. How is it possible that such a huge gaming giant can allow this to continue without any significant consequences? I want to hear what others think about this, but if you’re also seeing this same problem, let’s call it what it is: EA’s failure to protect the integrity of their own game. What are pogi's good for? This platform used to be a lot of fun. You had a chance of possibly winning something. The challenges are now more focused on you needing more (hey buy some gems) than should ever be expected. It's becoming more focused on making money than a place where folks can come relax and let the day go.This is so unorganized!
I ocntinually go to the forum like I used to, but it's not there anymore. Remove the link from the top of the page then! I finally got a question answered throug EA forum, but now I can't figure out how I did that either. I try to hit the like button on the messages, but it won't click. I try to reeply, but it doessn''t give me a reply box. GIVE US SOME INSTRUCTIONS! I don't even know where to start. The old forum was easy to navigate, but this is a joke!! Now a popup keeps appearing for a survey. But of course, it disappears as soon as I click on it! I guess they know that they may not like my answers!Missing Content / Hacked account?
17 year user Pogo Games, received an email saying my email address has changed. I changed my password but now all my progress is lost and rewards/gems gone. How do I recover the missing content? or is there any kind of support for POGO games, lack of phone # or support chat/ email is very disappointing after years of playing!Pogo Games- Solitaire Home Story
I cannot use the following page, as the game is not recognized. https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/ I found a way to report the issue, but have not heard back from EA Help, no case has been opened, and their phone number refers me back to the website that does not help me. So I will report my issue here. Solitaire Home Story is not always awarding the stars I've earned, now the stars it did credit me are gone. Every time I log out, I lose the stars I've earned. I have at least 4 sets of screenshots to prove what I am saying. I have lost at least 15 stars, likely more, due to this issue. This equates to lost progress, time, and real money I used to buy the power-ups to pass the levels. Here is one set. Please see the time in the lower right corner. Thank you.Bejeweled Stars
I have not been able to play Bejeweled Stars since December 1, 2025. It doesn't matter what device I use because every time the game is frozen. I have tried on my android phone, Laptop with Windows 11 and on my Sister's new android phone. All does the same. It is like I am locked out of it. Never had any trouble with the game until after December 1.CHEATING
Pogo's program in "LUCKY CAT BINGO" cheats. You can only get a maximum of one daub per card. With two cards you can't get more then two daubs per number called. Therefore two scores per number called. Yet I saw the other players (house players) get 3 and even 4 scores per number called. Which is why the same avatars continually win. I did enjoy playing "Lucky Cat Bingo", but it's no fun playing when the game is rigged and the house cheats. slyseyeAccidentally pushed a button and lost 150 gems
All I did was open up Garden Blast a pop up window pulls up. I go to push out of the window and apparently it was a button that immediately took 150 gems. FOR NOTHING. And no fail safe. This was a complete rip off. So sick of when this happens with pop up windows for no other reason than to take away gems. And I have searched the forum of who to contact or submit a ticket and have not gotten any success. Really disappointed.Reminder Pop ups
I wish there was some way PAYING players could stop these annoying popup reminders that Nestor is ending soon. One time pop up and x'd out should suffice, but not with EA they have to have it pop up at every game and more than one time a game. But then they just money grab and ignore our complaints. Just one more reason NOT to renew a subscription to POGO. This sure isn't anything like the ORIGINAL PogoGame Stories & other Annoyances
I have been a POGO member for almost 20 years and over the last couple of years I noticed that one new game specifically has a story that is completely annoying. Viola Card Scramble is so much fun and I love the card game. It’s easy to not play with the story but it’s annoying and the extras during gameplay are way to pricy!! Mahjong Safari is so fun and I absolutely love it however I only play it when I’m working on a badge because of the tiles that pause the game when they match up and OMG if you have to wait for when the row fills up. PLEASE CREATE AN OPTION TO DISABLE STORIES AND OTHER THINGS THAT HOLD UP THE GAME FOR PEOPLE WHO PAY TO PLAY. I absolutely ❤️ POGO and enjoy the badges and playing against real people. I liked playing Matching moments at first, but it got too hard, too fast. I'm rank 2, and can't win a level now. Unlike solitaire home story, there is no way to earn power ups with goals or spins etc. I have been on the same level for days, and I am so frustrated. I pay to play, not to spend an infinite amount of gems. I can't afford that. Please reexamine. Thank you.
