Connection server issue?
Yeah, so I’m not even sure if I’m able to talk about this, but I just got a invitation to the consult yesterday and when I tried to redeem the code and download the game, I’m not able to like continue it just says this, so I don’t know if it is it just because the server is too Full or do I did I do something so I got blocked or something, but I don’t think so because the first time I got had this problem and then I tried it again and then I got through but then I pressed the wrong button accidentally so I did go back to the first base and after that, I I was unable to like continue this text is just coming up all the time and it says that it’s a error message and that I’m “unable to connect for additional information” so what should I do? Is it just because the server is too full currently? it should be helpful if someone is answering my question thanks.
New skate. Ideas.
1. Online Competitions in open world and separated game mode. There should be online competitions that you can find going on exploring the city aswell as a separated gamemode that is strictly competitive and would act as a ranked mode. This ranked mode can be played with teammates also. For example, team jam sessions in skate 3. Whoever wins that tournament/competition gets more points (name for points is tbd) when gathered enough points you rank up. Final rank in ranked should be something along the lines of getting sponsored. 2. Interactivity with the devs and the players Add weekly online fan competitions using the video editor mode, such as a photo shoot. For example, thrasher mag photos. Fans decide/vote on the best looking photoshoot and that player receives in-game items that cannot be gained through normally playing. This gives some rarity to items that could also maybe get traded if implemented. It'd be cool to come across someone that has a board that is won from a fan voted competition which could be pretty hard to win due to the amount of people participating. 3. No battlepass The battlepass system could be considered lazy and a boring way to unlock stuff. Since it's been confirmed that it's a live service f2p game, it'd be boring to go with the same methods of unlocking as any other f2p game, such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, Halo Infinite. My main point being that it's been done so many times now and it'd be nice to have a change in it especially in a skate game. There are many ways to unlocking things such as my last 2 ideas. 4. Give us as much immersion as possible This being highly anticipated by many skaters and people maybe getting into skating, give those people a reason to wanna go skate, while also rewarding the skaters with a very immersive skate game that they've been waiting over 12 years for. Make gamemodes, games of skate, tournaments, street contests, etc all within fun city. They shouldn't be going through multiple load screens just for a game of skate. It'd be sick just to pull up to a spot and then start of the contest. Please give more ideas down below. All I want for this game is to be good. The live service decision seems sketchy but if done right it can be extremely good so to hopefully prevent the opposite I wanted to give some ideas. I feel like some games go live service end up adding the wrong kind of content or just not enough, and unlocking stuff in those kinda games can end up very lazy hence the no battlepass. I truly think a battlepass would be a very bad idea since there are so many other ways to add unlocking more content in a skate game.The Board Room - Episodes

Playtest skate.
Hello i was selected for a playtest session on sept 10 for PC and i was so excited for the opportunity and unfortunately i was trying to run the game through a virtual machine on my Macbook but it kept giving me an error because it couldnt recognize my GPU or something. I own a PS5 though and im wondering when console playtest is starting because i still am interested in getting the chance to play the new skate and share my notes on this board about bugs and/or what i think could be improved . 💜 🙏 pls skate im a hardcore fan of the skate games i've played all of them!!!
some feedback/bugs i found
the first bug i found is that whenever i hit the ground or anything hard enough to wipeout my character bounces quite aggressively and its kinda funny but most likely not intended, the second is that the coffin move gets very buggy at lower speeds, it jolts from side to side causing it to lose even more momentum so it gets worse until you're just completely stoppedSkate Play test - no email upon invite and being selected
I was selected AND invited by a friend who was also selected to the SKATE. playtest and I have never received the email like he did to have the game added in my library - is there a way to have the cpt added to my account library or am I out of luck and have to re register? - thank you!Skatepass progression idea
another fun idea would be to have some kinda battle pass, but for skate instead, let’s just call it skate pass for now, and if you have that and progress through your skate pass that you have bought then you are able to unlock new deck, new trucks wheels, clothing, building items and etc. kinda the same like Fortnite have their own battle pass as well, because if you have some kind of skate pass, then you have to grind through the game and played constantly in order to unlock new stuff in your “skate pass” before it’s too late and the item that you might want so much is removed, and you don’t get bored of the game so fast because you have something to look forward for every time you login because you want to unlock that special rare new thing that you want so much. feel free to comment your thoughts i down below!👇
Skate 4 New Tricks
What lacked in the past skate games were free styling type skate tricks, I feel like importing different kinds of primo tricks and Casper flips could add a whole new style to skating in game. You could do primo stalls when you go up a bowl, drop in primo. You could do primo slides and grinds, primo flips, Casper stall, Casper flips etc. you could add a lot of variety for more on the spot type tricks. ( people could play a game of skate with their friends online and incorporate this style.) I could see this being done by having to click in the sticks after doing a trick to land primo, or flicking both sticks forward and holding them their to put you into primo for as long as you hold them, then using the other sticks to do a flip out. On top of this I’ve noticed you can’t do this small list of tricks in the past games. -impossible -dolphin flip -hospital flip -dragon flip -double trey flips/360 flips -540 flip -540 shuv I really hope someone at ea notices this and takes this into consideration, as I can see these improving the game and allowing people to bring more of their own style to tricks.Quests not advancing to the next step
This is my second time posting about this issue—I’ve been dealing with it for two months now. I can't progress further in the Slam Quest and Spot Quest from the beta. The Slam Quest is stuck on Step 5; it shows as completed but won’t move to Step 6. The Spot Quest is also stuck—I completed Step 1, but it won’t progress to Step 2. Because these quests remain incomplete, I can’t access the Replay Editor or fast travel. I’ve managed without these tools for months, but it’s really frustrating. When I land a gnarly lineup, I can’t edit or replay it. The lack of fast travel is also a hassle—I have to skate everywhere instead of instantly traveling to spots. While I’ve discovered some cool locations this way, I’d love to actually use the travel tool. Basically, the quests are stuck, preventing me from progressing further or unlocking new quests. Because of this, the Replay Editor remains locked, and fast travel is unavailable. Please help fix this issue. I attached images below, the two quests menu images show the steps are completed but not progressing. I also attached images to show what is locked out for me.
cosmetics for play testing
I think it would be cool if we got some rare cosmetics for being part of the play testing once the final game comes out. I am really liking being able to spectate and teleport to other players. the ability to build is rly fun too, hopefully we could get more than 5 items to build in the future.
Console Playtest
I got an email a few days ago saying I can sign up for the console playtest. I put all my information in but I can't find anything related to the skate. playtest on my PSN account. Did I miss something when I initially signed up for it or have they just not started this round of playtesting?
Skate 4 problem
I signed up for the skate 4 playtest and didnt see the code until a few days later,amongst these days i had tried to complete the survey to change to a different platform because it was essential,but backed out of it, now i redeemed the code and when i log in i get an error message, how do i fix this?
